Well, we had a huge refuge crisis in around 2015. You had it in recent years. But the US haven't had the same issue with people calling themselves refugees only to get in a country where they plan to live on & scam welfare. Many from the middle east wants to flee - not from war but from poverty (not a reason to get asylum), but only to Germany, Sweden or GB were they more easily can get benefits by doing nothing & scan trusting systems. In finalnd we have more demands, like a language test etc they cant lock their women in some housing & completely isolate them like they do in sweden. And the result is many many people that have lived there for YEARS, often decades & can't speak one sentence in Swedish. You can be there 10y & live on & not even speak the language. Not even English. Bcs you don't have to learn it, you don't need to work or anything & the kids are used as translators. In the US it's different bcs people don't come to the US to live on benefits. They flee actual brutal violence & don't go trough a peaceful continent that's not accepted bcs of stricter wellfare systems. Many if not most are women. Here it's the opposite. It's uneducated young men travelling alone. And travelled trough europé but refusing to seek asylum in other countries than sweden, germany & GB. So how desperate are you when you feel like you can pick & choose what country that you want to stay in.. They come to the US & works. And they want to work.. In Europe we have the schengen deal that means that any European citizen can travel freely trough different countries without a visa.. You can't compere it. And the conflict in the middle East are more the result of US actions than any European. But they don't go to the US. They go to a country were they think it's easier to get away with lying & doing nothing.. Yes we have real true refugees, but most are young uneducated men that wants better economical future. But that's impossible in Europe, to earn well without an education. Esp a degree from a non western country. So when they come here & realise that the reality isn't the same as the lies they heard at home from others & traffickers they will turn to crime. And they expect everything to be as they want to & that they can behave like at home towards esp women.. what has happened in Germany & sweden with young middle Eastern men is scary, the sexual crime rate has gone way up. As a younger woman you can't go to a music festival without being groped, not to a public pool without being groped. Not even public libraries are safe. The crime rate, esp the deadly crime has just rocketed in sweden. They have gotten huge issues with gangs. And often theese gangs are young men who have parents with an immigrant background. The stats don't lie. The immigrants living on wellfare will often have kids that grow up to be criminals. And they blame society for everything. No personal responsibility is ever expected. They want to live like at home in a really liberal western country. And that will not be possible..

Refugees statistically have a lower unemployment rate than born British by a wide margin. They're prepared to do the so called 'crap' jobs to have a home, safety and provide a good future for their kids. They also statistically take much fewer sick days. Their children tend to achieve very high academic scores as they see education as a tool to good professions that are well paid. Then they pay more tax so once again the country benefits.
