God *definitely* comes down from heaven to smack Gabriel and tell Az that Crowley's in love with him, and then marries them. Definitely happens. 100%.

"Fun" Fact: the bullet-catching trick is actually how an American magician (William Ellsworth Robinson) working in London died in the late 1800s/early 1900s. The dude had built his entire career around stealing the act of a Chinese stage magician (Ching Ling Foo) who was popular at the time, with the American magician even dressing and "acting" as if he was Chinese and even using a deliberately similar stage name (Chung Ling Soo). Anyway, after a long, very racist career Robinson died when the prop gun being used in that trick misfired, and he ended up actually getting shot by accident on stage.

They're not just boyfriends, they are husbands. Some might even say, they're ineffable husbands.

This is the worst of the many ways to do the bullet trick, having a real bullet in the gun.

Interesting comparison between Arthur Weasley and his Muggle fixation and Aziraphale and his magic fixation.. I never thought of it but that's true 😂

@@letolethe3344 thank you for volunteering, now I may not be as skilled as Aziraphle, but I shall dazzle the masses with this Neato trick! A 1, and a 2, & WALLA! the rude comment u made has Disappeared🪄🪄. Remember kids, Being nice goes a long way!😁😁

Oh, wow, you pronounced Aziraphale perfectly -- even got the "fail" part, which a lot of people don't.

Aziraphale and Crowley are in the bookshop after the magic show for their candlelit dinner.

Really still don't think Aziraphale told her, to be honest. I suspect that the "rumors" Shax heard come down to a drunken Furfur complaining about what happened in 1941.

5:11 I think it was season 1...er, “series” 1, episode 3, the one that introduced Moriarty.

Since zombies don't exist, there can't be a right way to portray them

The choice of acting for the zombies was fascinating to me. It definitely isn’t your traditional zombie movements, but what it *did* remind me of was neurological damage! For example if you look up videos of cats with cerebellar hypoplasia, the wobbly, unsteady movements are very similar. It was an interesting choice to me; leaning more into an appearance of ataxia than an appearance of rigor mortis being the cause for motor difficulties with controlling a dead body. On the one hand it was really neat to see movements I recognized! But on the other hand, if it was intentional then that does next raise questions of how to feel about the spirit of the thing, when it’s being played for laughs. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Leaves me slightly uncertain how to feel.

To be fair, their bodies were crushed by a whole church collapsing on them, I'd imagine being reanimated in those corpses would come with a great deal of nerve damage.

@@Miroslava_Ivanova Indeed! Like I said, I honestly felt like it was a really clever angle to take for their physical acting. I’m just not 100% certain about how the fact that it’s played for physical comedy would feel to anyone with a similar disability, so I’m slightly cautious/uncertain about how to feel rather than able to completely enjoy the choice. And I do mean *uncertain,* too. Like. Aziraphale’s fumbling is a point of physical comedy in some of the exact same scenes! It might be fine. It’s just also not an argument I feel qualified to make one way or the other, hah.

Neither I nor they can speak on behalf of everyone obviously, but several people I know who have motor function issues watched this episode and thought absolutely nothing of that acting choice. They were just like "yeah those look like zombies to me." If anything, they took more issue with N@zis being played for laughs than with their body movements.

I LOVE Steven Universe! It's definitely one of my favorite shows but I have no money to watch you react to it, which is a damn shame. I can't wait for the next episode! I've come to realize my obsession with watching people react to Good Omens is because my late husband never got to watch S2.
