For me solotica isn’t uncomfortable as far as “feel” BUT they tend to get very very blurry after a few hours…lol and I choose prescribed ones for a reason…so I guess that’s uncomfortable to not be able to see😢

I love color cl contacts. The Asian fit daily are the best fitting contacts for me even more comfortable than my prescription contacts from the doctor. I've tried so many brands and keep coming back to cl. Thanks to this review I think I'll just stick to cl, you just saved my eyes and pockets alot of hurt lol thank you!😂❤

I completely agree with you. Solotica are very uncomfortable. I can only wear it for only 4 to 5 hours max! The ones that I find comfortable wearing all day is color cl black bliss sea 💙

I thought it was just me! Hell yeah Solotica is hella uncomfortable. I LOVE the quality but, yeah, five hours and I want them out! They need to make a quarterly version of the the Hidrocor and Rio collections. I’m glad you did a comparison video. Everybody always compliments my Jade contacts but I can’t wear them all day. Im going to buy the Bahia green because I saw the video you did comparing them to Jade. I’ll use your code and let you know when I do. Probably this week or next

I have only tried many years ago the Freshlook Colorblends, very comfortable but fake looking. Now I currently have my first Solótica pair, Toric for astigmatism, the yearlies on color Cielo. My first 3 attempts to wear them couldn’t for more than 3 hours, they burned felt like scratching. For some reason the 4th time they lasted more hours, and now I wear them up to 8 or 9 hours fine. Maybe it was the solution or the eye adapting to the size. After that they start to get dry, but if I keep adding drops I can wear them longer. They’re thick and you feel you have something in your eye, but to me nothing that bothers, just after 8 or 9 hours. But this is my experience.

Remember gals, every EYE is different. What didn’t work for you may work for others. So when it comes to comfortable level, its all up to you! My optometrist doesn’t recommend yearly so I will choose monthly or daily. BUT they are definitely expensive. I explained how Solotica will make my eyes feel tired after 5 hours of wearing and he said its because its yearly and they are bad for the eyes so he recommended monthly or quarterly. I’ve been wearing solotica yearly for 3 years already hahaha so trying monthly now lets see what happens

In my opinion, for comfort, I prefer Just4kira and they’re super affordable (haven’t tried many of the brands you mentioned). For me, the most uncomfortable are 1) Desio (just terrible and they’re super expensive WTH!) 2) Solotica (also expensive) 3) Anesthesia. I’ll try the other brands you mentioned (hopefully they offer prescriptions). Thanks for the valuable feedback.

From my experience with Solotica i think that their yearly collections are the very uncomfortable and unhealthy for eyes, but the monthly collection (hidrocore and Soflex) are very comfy like you have nothing in your eyes. Also the dailies (but too expensive). The same thing about Anesthesia lenses: the addict collection who is a 6month duration are very affordable, great quality and very comfortable, but the anesthetic collection it's not good. (These from someone with extremely sensitive, allergic, dry eyes with a history of serious infection.)

Hey Mal I was going to buy a bunch of Solotica quarterlies because of the discomfort of the yearlies but found out unfortunately that they don’t make toric lenses for the quarterlies. I have astigmatism so I’m stuck with the yearlies.

Have you tried Dimple Color lenses? I think Burnt butter hazel, mystic olive and heavenly hazel would be beautiful on you. If you have, were they comfy? Thanks x

I love dimple color I’ve reviewed them all on my channel ☺️ the lunar collection is the most comfortable from dimple. Mystic olive is one of my fav’s too. Each collection is different for comfort. The halo collection is a 7.5-8/10 for comfort but make sure you soak them in solution right out of the package. I didn’t do that at first and found them uncomfortable but later on once they’d been soaked they were perfect.

Moody lenses are beautiful but gave me a bad itchy infection for months, just thought Id throw those in the review! In case....Thanks to Mal I tried just kira and they are so damn comfortable I give them a 9 out 10. Color CL has always been my top favorite! Now I want to try Lora ns!

Hi! They are both very comfortable. I would say olens only because they’re daily and monthly contacts feel super moisturizing. Swati are comfortable but not as moist feeling after a long day.

Solotica is very uncomfortable, and I only tried few monthly colours,can't imagine what a pain would be with yearly.Bella Elite is so so for me,Anesthesia is my favourite, nice colours and very comfortable,I wear them all day,no problems. Didn't try other brands. Are OLENS fda approved? They look low quality

I always get the Solotica Aquarella quarterly lenses. I find them pretty comfy for about 5-8 hours. However the other day I received my 5th pair of Bossa Nova grey and when I put them in, they burned my eyes. They are completely unwearable. I couldn’t see any tears on the lenses so I don’t know what’s wrong with them. But that’s $80 wasted.

Mal! This video is too accurate! I was waiting for Lorans to be on here! Also Amara and Diva are good too, but I wished they made brighter colours. I personally don’t like Bella lenses as they are too fake with their big pupil holes and the colours are too dark. You should try the brands Celina, Nada Fadel and Dahab too. They have more of a variety and are very comfortable too! This Middle Eastern brands know what they are doing!

Generally speaking I find solotica lenses quite comfortable, but it could be the way I clean them. On a daily basis I use a traditional Opti-Free solution, but once a week I do a deep clean in clear care. The worst contacts (comfort wise) that I have tried were Desio lenses. They were THE WORST.

If you want lenses that look very natural and comfortable I always recommend Anesthesia, colorcl has some great natural looking options too and they are more affordable!

I also agree solotica lenses are uncomfortable 🥵 irritated the eye sucking the oxygen of your pupils the material is so bad for oxygen to pass through your eyes. 2/10. Just4kira 8/10 cause they get blurry at times. Olens 10/10 Millzladiva 10/10 Lorans 8/10 Solotica are the ones I hate the most because they hurt my eyes the most. The color is only good for photos or videos in real life they are fake. I'm being honest.

Any contact lens that are "annual" is horrible. They are old plastic designs which don't allow oxygen to your eyes. They can give you bad infections if worn over an hour or 2.
