My wife has worked in anti-trafficking for 4 years. The majority of her work has been with girls between 11 and 17. All of it has been domestic, nothing foreign. The work is hard. I just want to answer lily’s question corner question. I was born with a congenital condition that causes facial paralysis. This means that I cannot close my eyes, and, thus, I win every single staring contest I participate in. My favorite thing is challenging new people to staring contests, and it’s even funnier when they are really confident. Also, happy birthday Andrew and I love your hair Lily!

If my eyes get dry I will use my finger, and I also sometimes use eye drops, but over the years I’ve gotten used to it

Hi! That is a common question I get and although it would be cool, I don’t sleep with my eyes open. While I myself cannot make my eyes close while awake, they close when I am completely asleep due to the full relaxation of the muscles.

This is my first time watching a whole podcast and I am hooked! I came looking after seeing multiple short outtakes. You guys are great. And Lilly, I totally recognized the language from ZOOM once you started speaking. It's a bit like Pig Latin - all the original info is there, you just add in distractions.

16:53 this exact thing happened to my mother. She had one teddy bear as a child she couldn’t live without, but she was constantly hospitalized for nose and throat tumors. They would have to operate all the time and then she would hemorrhage each time and they couldn’t figure out why. My grandmother and the doctors thought it might be allergens attaching to her teddy, so they took it and threw it in the dumpster. It didn’t stop. They then thought it might be oil baseboard heat, so they moved. It didn’t stop. Turned out to be an ultra rare blood disease we just diagnosed. She is 64. She still is traumatized, honestly.

That melody had floating down the Raccoon River on a 102 degree day in the middle of July 100% humidity and 110 degrees heat index vibes in des moines, Iowa. 20:20 AJ on Why Files does 4 hour live video and just chills with with his team and all the fans and reads the questions from all the super chats. I was in labor for 15.5 hours. I was 5 minutes away from a c-section. Once I heard that, I told my baby he was coming out now or never. Never pushed so hard. His face was scratched up from being stuck and rubbing against my bone. But his head… whoo child.. sorry to my son. 😂

Nurse here Usually shin splints are a result of the posterior tibialis muscle inflamming. Be it the tendon, fascia or the ligaments. Due to the depth and position of the muscle, it's hard to get at to stretch. People with flat feet are almost guaranteed to get shin splints. This is, of course, if you are highly active.

19:48 aj from why files has a script written for him that he goes back over and edits, and does the research to make sure his sources are all cited. He doesn't do the initial work but makes sure all the work is correct.

My friend went to go see sound of freedom and before he went he came over and smoked and chilled and we laughed and talked about how crazy the theater sabotaging was and we joked it would happen to him. He showed up and they kicked everyone out of the theater and said they can’t find the reel/movie for it. He said he walked by another theater and it was showing in that theater but the theater was empty😮

Hi, fellow 90's kid here, yes that language that lily and her mom are speaking is real. It's from the coolest show ever called 'zoom', I have two cousins that can speak it but we call the language Abu Dhabi. I still can't understand it 15 years later.
