In Romans 11, the apostle Paul talks about the Gentiles being grafted in. But what are they grafted into? This is an issue when it comes to Torahism. (aka Hebrew Roots) because many Torah-keepers say that Gentiles who come to faith in Jesus become citizens of Israel, and are now, therefore, subject to the Law that God gave to Israel at Mount Sinai. In this video, we look at one such teaching from Olive Branch Fellowship and tackle the question "What is Israel?" in as much detail as we can. We'll also discuss the distinction between Jews and Gentiles in Scripture, and what it means for a Gentile to come to faith in the Jewish Messiah and be “grafted in.”

I am ethically Jewish, and a Christian. What the gentiles are grafted into is the PROMISE that God gave us Jews:. That He would be our God, and we would be His people. Jesus is the SEED (not seeds) of Abraham. Through Him all the earth is blessed. If you be in Christ…..THEN you be the seed of Abraham.

I have a few family members in the HR movement. A very complicated and confusing bunch. Most of the comments here attest to that fact. Hey bro, I think the reason these 'dots' you referred to in the beginning aren't all in the video is because Michael's videos aren't geared towards one-time viewers who are only going to view one video and not others, rather his videos are are mainly uploaded for the benefit of his own congregation who are already very familiar with the 'dots' or towards people who are going to watch his other videos. Michael's teachings have played a crucial role in the development of my faith and understanding of the Scriptures. I only say this because I can see there are a few people here in the comments talking about how they're trying to 'break free' from the Hebrew Roots Movement. My question is: why do you want to break free from the truth? The Scriptures constantly talk about how amazing the Torah is - sweeter than honey from the comb and more precious than fine gold according to the Psalmist (Psalm 19) so you guys are missing out :( If anyone has any doubt about Torah observance go straight to Acts 24:5 where Paul identifies himself as not just a believer of but RINGLEADER of the sect of the Nazarenes, then go and have a look at what the early church fathers have to say about these Nazarenes. Spoiler: they didn't know how to deal with them because they were considered neither Christians nor Jews but Believed in Messiah and kept the Torah of Moses - Kinda reminds me of that passage in Revelation 12 where it talks about those who hold fast to the Testimony of Messiah AND keep the Commands of God. Hope this comment didn't come off as rude or pushy, and I can appreciate the respect shown here in the video towards OBF.

Hi Michael! Thanks so much for your respectful comments. You pointed out that there are people in the comments section talking about 'breaking free' from the Hebrew Roots Movement and asked, "Why do you want to break free from the truth?" And my answer is that HRM is not the truth. At least that's the perspective of the commenters who have left HRM, and it's my belief as well. Our problem isn't with the Torah, it's with _Torahism,_ which is the unbiblical application of Torah laws to followers of Jesus. So for us, to label Hebrew Roots theology as untrue is not to reject the Torah. Not at all. As for Acts 24:5, here is an important detail you may have missed: It's not Paul who identifies himself as a ringleader of the Nazarenes. That false accusation came from his adversary Tertullus, who was the spokesman for the high priest Ananias and the Jewish elders. Blessings, Rob

@@TheBiblicalRoots But Paul continues to say "according to the way which they call a sect so I worship the God of my fathers." There is only one sect mentioned in Acts 24 and there is no reason to believe Paul is identifying himself with any other sect. I would have to respectfully disagree and say that application of Torah to followers of Yehsua is most Biblical. In fact, one of the New Testament struggles of the Apostles is the reconciliation of Gentiles back into Torah obedience, not for the purpose of salvation but for sanctification. Acts 15:19-21 is a perfect example. Again my question is: why would anyone want to break free from that which is sweeter than honey from the comb and more precious than refined gold? Psalm 119 is the longest chapter in all of Scripture and all 22 stanzas contained therein communicate to us just how awesome, beautiful, beneficial, lovely and helpful the Law of Moses is. Why do we want to distance ourselves from that?

Can you imagine standing before YAHshua with a testimon of teaching against Torah of Heart. ECC 12 13 When all has been heard, the conclusion of the matter is this: Fear God and keep His commandments, because this is the whole duty of man. 1 tim 1:5 Now the purpose of the commandment is love from a pure HEART, from a good conscience, and from sincere faith, Duet 30 10 if you obey the LORD your God and keep his commands and decrees that are written in this Book of the Torah/Law and turn to the LORD your God with all your HEART and with all your soul. Proverbs 3 3 Let know loving commitment ant TRUTH forsake you-bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your HEART. 2 cor 3 3 And you show that you are a letter from Christ delivered by us, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human HEARTS. Ezekiel 11 19-20 And I will give them one HEART, and a new spirit I will put within them. I will remove the HEART of stone from their flesh and give them a HEART of flesh, that they may walk in "my statutes" and keep my rules and obey them. And they shall be my people, and I will be their God. Jer 31 33 But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, declares the Lord: I will put my TORAH within them, and I will write it on their HEARTS. And I will be their God, and they shall be my people Hebrews 10 16 This is the covenant I will make with them after that time, says the Lord. I will put my TORAH/ law in their HEARTS, and I will write them on their minds.” Daniel 7 28 Hitherto is the end of the matter. As for me Daniel, my cogitations much troubled me, and my countenance changed in me: but I kept the matter in my HEART Isaiah 56 6-7 And foreigners who bind themselves to the LORD to minister to him, to love the name of the LORD, and to be his servants, all who keep the Sabbath without desecrating it and who hold fast to my covenant- these I will bring to my holy mountain and give them joy in my house of prayer. The reason why his name is not in the spotlight is because he submits himself to Abba. He is a man that walks in Teshuva to please Him whom created all things. This messenger of the living word is living out the instructions of YHWH and staying humble in his walk being an example to the flock, seeking no esteem from men but that of the Father. I am a witness and stand at the throne with this statement. Bless YHWH messengers. This being said, my comment is in no way attacking this video. As we all are called to be good bereans and test all things. Fast and pray to the Ruach Ha'kodesh for leading into understanding the mystery of lawlessness. If I were to adopt a child, that child takes on my family name. The adoption process doesn't terminate my family name and we just become "the family", no, my adopted son takes on my last name. In other words, when we are adopted into Israel or grafted in, we become, spiritual Israel (for lack of a better word). Of course we are not physical Israel, but our sustainance comes from the root of Israel, just as an adopted child's sustainance comes from his new family roots.

Don’t forget that you Gentiles used to be outsiders. You were called “uncircumcised heathens” by the Jews, who were proud of their circumcision, even though it affected only their bodies and not their hearts. In those days you were living apart from Christ. You were excluded from citizenship among the people of Israel, and you did not know the covenant promises God had made to them. You lived in this world without God and without hope. But now you have been united with Christ Jesus. Once you were far away from God, but now you have been brought near to him through the blood of Christ. Ephesians 2:11‭-‬13 For Christ himself has brought peace to us. He united Jews and Gentiles into one people when, in his own body on the cross, he broke down the wall of hostility that separated us. Ephesians 2:14 NLT

Hi, Solberg. It's funny that you are doing a video on Mike because I've known mike since we were 13/14 years old. I was part of the olive branch fellowship since it's infancy. It started with me Mike and a couple of others as a house fellowship. In fact I designed the logo, created the intro to the videos and used to be the video editor and media guy for the fellowship. I say used to because I left the fellowship after 6 years, in 2021. And since then I have been on a journey of coming out of Hebrew roots theology (a kind of deconstruction of my Hebrew roots beliefs, if you will) and your videos have been very helpful in that transition. Especially when you did a video reply to my previous comments. The reason I say this is because I am deeply familiar with the theology that Mike teaches. So if Mike is unwilling to respond to your questions I'm more than happy to help. I have nothing but love for Mike even though we no longer see eye to eye on the things. @@sethsisneros8369 I'll be honest. It wasn't just one thing, it was many things over time. I'm still on the journey myself so I still have a lot I'm trying to figure out. But the main thing for me was a switch in my eschatology. I switched from premillennialism to Postmillennialism. Because of this switch a lot of my previously held beliefs about the law didn't fit with my new perspective. Then it became a matter of removing what didn't fit and keeping what did. For example in the Postmillennial view we believe that the millennial kingdom is now, it's the time between Christ's first coming and second coming. And that Christ is building His kingdom on earth now and that a nations will eventually be christianized and all of Christ's enemies will be defeated before He returns. Once I realized that the feasts and ceremonial laws don't fit with a global faith, I came to the realization that something had to have changed in the new covenant. That it's impossible for a global faith of billions of Christians to all make pilgrimages to the temple 3 times a year and for everyone to keep the same calendar which is tied to the agricultural cycle of the land of Israel is impossible. Then it dawned on me just how impractical observing the Torah outside of the land of Israel really is. Then I did a study into the book of Hebrews and realized that there was a change in the ceremonial aspects of the law. And thet the temple being destroyed in AD70 signified that change. The old order had come to an end. There is a lot more but I'll leave it there. Sorry if it wasn't very helpful.

I didn't find God until my 20's, when I was in college. I did go to Cavalry Chapel for a number of years until I stopped. One day, my now wife had taken me to a Messianic Jewish Synagogue, and since then I've never looked back. It was like countless light bulbs had gone off and I could see how beautifully connected both testaments are. For my christian friends that think I've "gone under the law" or whatever fictional statement that they don't even actually understand, I liken it to a man who was at a restaurant and ordered a steak and potato. When his dish came out, the steak was small enough for 2 bites and his potato was the size of tater tot. He asked where the rest of the meal was, and the waiter laughed because he had never heard search a thing. The rest of the folks in the restaurant noticed and also laughed at him, and so he left. Spiritually speaking, you don't know you're starving until you don't. I will never, never go back - Sorry! I for one happen to love Olive Branch's teachings - seems like a very humble guy, not the confrontational sort and doesn't seem like the kind of guy that would entertain answering this video. Don't expect Rob Solberg to truthfully respond. He continues to distort the truth of God's word because he is a theologian who has been taught to defend a view that cannot be defended, not to mention that he has a Greek mentality, which prevents him from allowing the Spirit of God to enlighten him with the truth of God's word, which God made clear the first time he spoke. Look at how he responded to you.

I watched the time stamp you mentioned and still am dumfounded as to how you can you can agree that Israel is the family name, that it is this family that we are adopted into, yet still insist that Christians stand separate from the house rules. You insist that, as believers, out identity doesn’t change, what? The whole theology sets back up the middle wall and separates you from the family by means of your refusal to identify with the family and acknowledge the family rules At about 34:50, you use the term “law that God gave Israel at Mt Sinai”. A sharp point of disagreement which I’m sure many of my “Torahist” (your term) would have is labeling the Torah as such. Your insistence that this body of laws, was given by Moses, in written form, on Mount Sinai, didn’t exist before Sinai and is essentially nullified in Messiah, is totally unbiblical and causes you to then set up many associated strawmen. Yes, under the MelkiZedek priesthood, the Levitical priesthood is not currently in effect, including all things directly specific to said priesthood. This in no way affects any law not directly specific to the Levitical priesthood. In fact, Moses was already up on the mountain receiving Torah during the issue with the golden calf, hence the addition of the levitical priesthood is not an integral component of Torah. A modern analogy would be, if by some miraculous event the United States internal revenue service was completely abolished tomorrow, that would in no way affect the entire body of U.S. laws, only that directly part of the tax code Considering Amos 3:7, your view on this would have to have been clearly announced in advance. Yet the direct offset is true. We see nothing throughout the Tanak but the wonderful, glorious, eternal relevance of the Torah for all nations, see Psalms 119, Isaiah 8:20 42:21, Ezekiel 36:27 Malachi 4:4-6. Christianity looks at Malachi 4, flips that one single page and totally reinterprets “law” in a context entirely disjointed from everything written prior. Also, I wanted to add in my disagreement your comment at 26:35 where you said Cornelius was the first gentile convert. The first Gentile convert would have been Caleb, which as you know means “dog” in Hebrew (כלב) See Numbers 13:6, 14:24, 32:12 Joshua 14:6

Julia Reynolds, thanks for sharing. Many years ago, I was led to faith in the Messiah through a Jewish believer in Messiah. His name was Howard Mark Mandel. He sang in a small music group that they called Sonship. He has gone on to be with the Lord, however we did manage to stay in touch periodically through email. It’s beautiful to see how the Lord opens the eyes of all who seek the truth, both Jewish and Gentile! You worded it so well when you talked about being contextual, literal, grammatically and historically in touch, through these contentious issues. It’s amazing that when you get down on your knees and pray for God to reveal his truth to you and then open up the Bible, how it comes alive and you can see through the deceptions when we are willing to see the truth! I have been viewing Professor Solberg’s videos for awhile now. It’s refreshing how he simply points his viewers to the Scriptures, which explain themselves! As opposed to How some of the opposing views seem to really struggle and try to twist scriptures into meaning something that they don’t really say! Yeshua promised that those who seek the TRUTH would FIND it!! Shalom to you and your house!

Michael does explain in more depth in his other teachings about the followers of Yahshua being called Israel. I agree he should have had a recap on that, but sometimes he doesn't recap enough. But I've listened to enough of his teachings that this has been brought up before, and has went into this in great depth in some of his other teachings. Michael is a great teacher. As always a few comments: 1. Your insistence that the law was given for the first time, is a key reason for your incorrect teachings. The law was there from the start, at creation. It is His design for life. Adam was taught the law for 7 years by the angels before he was placed in the garden. And he passed it on to his children, and they did to theirs. That's why we read things like Noah knowing the difference between clean and unclean animals. Or we read that Abraham kept all Yahweh's commamdments, statutes and laws. 2. Despite your best efforts through these videos, Yahweh is drawing people from all over the world to follow His laws again. Not because they think it is a good idea and just adding it to their faith as an optional thing, but following it with all their hearts and minds. They know that His plan is not "the church", but to be in covenant with Him. I have a group of church goers that now honours Him in keeping the Sabbath every week, learning what it means to be covenant with Him. They are adjusting their lives according to His laws and the meaning they find in it, is nothing but inspirational. He is drawing people back to Himself despite people like yourself working against that. My prayer is that you will open your heart to His perfect ways.

You completely misunderstood the message Michael is saying. Perhaps you should watch a few more of his teachings for a full understanding. Remember, it's foolishness to speak of a matter without full knowledge of it (Pro 18:13) Once you come to the faith in Yeshua, you cease to become a "gentile", hence you become part of the house of Israel. There won't be any gentile names on the 12 gates of Israel...let that sink in. Re all the rest of Paul's words, all I can say is that you might wanna reevaluate 2 Pet 3:15,16 people who don't understand Paul's words will twist his words to their own destruction. Bottom line, Yeshua's the greatest authority in scripture, NOT Paul. If Paul is speaking against Torah, he's a false prophet and must be discarded (Isaiah 8:20: Deut 13) but that's not the case. Paul does not teach against the Torah, He supports it. If you think he speaks against it, then unfortunately your understanding of his words are also incorrect. You best put him on the shelf and not teach or greater judgments will be upon you if people listen and follow. (James 3:1) Yeshua's crystal clear words say: "The torah is in effect until heaven and earth pass away....not even a jot of it are abolished...whoever teaches to break the least of the commandments will be called LEAST in the kingdom". (Matt 5:17-19) Be wise, be safe. Listen to Yeshua, follow and obey Him, He's the greatest authority and the only one who can grant life or death at judgment.

I listen to Michael’s teachings from time to time, because I appreciate his ability to study the Word from a cultural mindset. I also do the same to other teachers as well for other reasons. For example one man I listen to has an entire series in the doctrine of Christ; which is awesome too. He sticks in those teachings to the red letters which give us clear instructions from The Mouth of the King of Kings and Lord of Lords! I do not agree with them in all points however, because I do believe God still has a work to do in the genetic line of Jacob. I trust the two sticks becoming one is important to hold in mind. I know people who have left the idea of Christianity because so much of what is going on inside of denominations and buildings that claim to be Christian but practice things that are unscriptural. Protestantism today looks very little different than Roman Catholicism in so many ways after dispensationalism. My grandma started pointing that out in the 60s in the Methodist congregation that our family founded and built (the building )6 generations prior to me. And now many have joined back in by the ecumenical movement of 2017. Some people I know have gone and either convert to Judaism or they go into the HRM. I find that those who convert to Judaism start laying Yehoshua aside for the 613 ordinances and buying into the idea of the noahide laws for those who are Gentiles. Alternatively, then I see those in HRM oftentimes getting deep into Babylonian Talmud, Mishna and Kabbalah that they start trying to connect Yehoshua into being metatron or brothers with HaSatan It has been a sad state because as a woman, I feel compelled to stay within the headship of my husband, but we both started getting to the point that we felt “homeless,” as far as a place where we could fellowship with like minded individuals who didn’t start just condemning in one way or the other because we weren’t in complete agreement with their beliefs or dogmas. The difficulty is, that my husband responded to it much differently than I did. He got frustrated and depressed and turned to alcohol, and I started studying The Word more. Even further alienated away from any fellowship of peace. I personally am trying to keep a humble approach to what we are experiencing these days and praying for the day when we will all be taught by Him who set the foundations of the heavens and earth and will make all things new! Thank you for your perspective. It was calm, and very well structured to deliver scriptures rather than opinions. Praise Elohim from who all blessings flow!

As I listen to you, you have got guts. The issue of being saved by grace versus law, is a real challenging but most important topic to dispute. But it is a matter of life and death. In Romans 7, Paul attempts to describe fulfilling the law through the means of the Spirit and by being under grace and not law. Decades ago I began to become frustrated. At the end I have to acknowledge that I sin at my very best and I cannot do it period. I don't encourage living a life of flagrant sin, but I am counting on Jesus being right for me because I cannot do it.

New Covenant Whole Gospel: What the modern Church needs is a New Covenant Revival (Heb. 9:10) in which members of various denominations are willing to re-examine everything they believe and see if it agrees with the Bible, instead of the traditions of men. We need to be like the Bereans. It will be a battle between our flesh and the Holy Spirit. It will not be easy. If you get mad and upset when someone challenges your man-made Bible doctrines, that is your flesh resisting the truth found in God's Word. Nobody can completely understand the Bible unless they understand the relationship between the Old Covenant given to Moses at Mount Sinai and the New Covenant fulfilled in blood at Calvary. What brings all local churches together into one Body under the blood of Christ? The answer is found below. Let us now share the Old Testament Gospel found below with the whole world. On the road to Emmaus He said the Old Testament is about Him. He is the very Word of God in John 1:1, 14. Awaken Church to this truth. Jer 31:31 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: Jer 31:32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by husband unto them, saith the LORD: Jer 31:33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. Jer 31:34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more. Is the most important genealogy in the Bible found in Matthew 1:1 (Gal. 3:16)? Is God's Son the ultimate fulfillment of Israel (John 1:49)? Why has the modern Church done a pitiful job of sharing the Gospel with modern Orthodox Jews? Why would someone tell them they are God's chosen people and then fail to share the Gospel with them? Who is the seed of the woman promised in Genesis 3:15? What did Paul say about Genesis 12:3 in Galatians 3:8? Who is the "son" in Psalm 2? Who is the "suffering servant" of Isaiah 53? Who would fulfill the New Covenant promised in Jeremiah 31:31-34? Who would fulfill the timeline of Daniel chapter 9 before the second temple was destroyed? Why have we not heard this simple Old Testament Gospel preached on Christian television in the United States on a regular basis? Once a person comes to understand the New Covenant promised to Israel and Judah in Jeremiah 31:31-34, which is found fulfilled by Christ during the first century in Hebrews 8:6-13, and Hebrews 10:16-18, and specifically applied to the Church in 2 Corinthians 3:6-8, and Hebrews 12:22-24, man-made Bible doctrines fall apart. Let us now learn to preach the whole Gospel until He comes back. The King of Israel is risen from the dead! (John 1:49, Acts 2:36) We are not come to Mount Sinai in Hebrews 12:18. We are come instead to the New Covenant church of Mount Zion and the blood in Hebrews 12:22-24. 1Jn 3:22 And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight. 1Jn 3:23 And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment. 1Jn 3:24 And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us. The following verses prove the Holy Spirit is the master teacher for those now in the New Covenant. Jer 31:34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more. Mar 1:8 I indeed have baptized you with water: but he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost. Joh 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. Act 11:16 Then remembered I the word of the Lord, how that he said, John indeed baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost. 1Co 12:13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit. 1Jn 2:27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him. Rob Solberg, the Jews were not the ones who identified followers of Christ as Christians; the Gentiles were the first to refer to the worshippers of Christ as Christians, and it became a common word to describe someone who follows Christ as a Christian. But we are called to be followers of Christ, not Christians, and remember that everyone calls themselves Christians, but not everyone is a follower of Christ. So, to say that we are called to be Christians is incorrect; to say that we are called to be followers of Christ is correct. There's a reason God said they shouldn't eat anything that died on its own, but instead give it to the stranger at your gates. God chose a people to be holy unto himself; he chose Israel rather than the Gentiles, which is why he gave Israel the law; he is dealing with one people, the people he chose. Not to mention that Yeshua came to die for those who were under the law, but God extended his love to the Gentiles in order to graft them into Yeshua for salvation, so that they can become part of the commonwealth of Israel, bringing law to the lawless. In other words, the Gentiles are to be subservient to God's law, allow the law to be embedded within them, and have the willingness to obey God's laws without question. Tell me, were the Gentiles under the law? If the answer is no, that is because God chose one people to be holy unto him: Israel. Other than God being glorified in and through Israel, tell me, what was Israel to be for the Gentiles? I will stop here because it is clear enough. So, to you, God is no longer the God of Israel, but the God of a family. You used the Son to pin the Father, now you remove the title "the God of Israel" from God. So if God is not the God of Israel, tell me, who is your God? Through your mouth came satan's words that the law of God is "not required but permissible," pulling Gentile believers completely away from the law, and now you are trying to pull Jews away from observing God's law by saying that Jews coming to Christ no longer need to observe the law. You can deny it, but you don't want anything to do with the God of Israel or the Jews. You paint a beautiful picture, but it is all distorted because you have indoctrinated yourself with a lie, and that is because you are trying to interpret the Scriptures when God himself was clear when he first spoke. YOU'RE NOT ONLY EATING GRASS BUT ALSO ENJOYING EATING IT.

I agree with a lot you said but I want to clarify for anyone reading that the reason the stranger could eat an animal that died naturally but we are instructed not to is because the stranger is not in a covenant relationship with the God of Israel but we are. All Gods instructions are for our good but someone living outside of the covenant doesn’t have to follow instructions specifically for His set apart people. It’s all about having a heart Circumcision and being in a covenant relationship. Once we are grafted into Yahs family his instructions apply to us and show us how to live set apart lives 🤍

Simply put: 'And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.... Galatians 3: 29. There is only one spiritual House of Israel - the body of Yeshua - the physical Israel having been made desolate. There is one true faith - many Christians have Christ - or their version of him - and believe the Torah is for Jews not them - Jews attempt to keep the Torah but fail to identify Yeshua. To synthesise these positions is to understand: 'If you love me keep my commands.' John 14:15. Dispensationalism is the doctrine of devils and a widespread deception. There is only one way to the Father. The covenant with Abraham is to all people, a covenant which pre-dates Israel./Jacob and the promised land. If you have eyes to see...

I probably forgot to submit it... Rob Solberg, I have concluded for a long time that you want nothing to do with the God of Israel, and below are the reasons: 1) The commonwealth of Israel means something else to you, which is why you use the phrase "family of God" to avoid saying "God of Israel." 2) You want nothing to do with God's laws and have made it clear that God's laws and Moses's laws are not the same thing. 3) You state that God's laws, which you refer to as "Moses' laws," are not required but permissible. 4) You are not only preventing the Gentile believers from observing God's laws, but now you say that if a Jew comes to Yeshua, they are not required to follow God's laws, preventing them from following God's laws. 5) The phrase "God's laws are not required but permissible" would only come out of the mouth of satan. The fact that you want nothing to do with God's laws and continue to speak against them shows that you have positioned yourself to allow satan to push those words right out of your mouth. It does not matter whether you said it unintentionally or deliberately; only satan would make such a statement. 6) You speak double-mindedly. 7) All you do is post videos, continuing to attack God's laws. I am not the only one who made the above points clear. Let me brighten your day by announcing that I will no longer be commenting on your videos and that God will deal directly with you. Let me also remind you that you are still in the field eating grass and hoping that God does not turn you over to what you delight in, which is attacking his laws; if he does, you will die yourself lawless. Remember what I told you? Nietzsche, an atheist, suffered a mental breakdown; a man who was trying to prove that God did not exist died without God in his mind. If you continue to aggressively attack God's laws, you might one day die lawless. Learn from Nietzsche. When I respond to your followers, I tell them in advance that it is most likely they will not respond, and I am right; they don't because the lie they have been taught cannot be defended, and you should know that because many times you have avoided answering questions yourself. If you want to respond to this post, use the email address that you have. I will unsubscribe to your videos today.

@@harryabrahams2770 sorry, but nowhere does the text say that it was derogatory. But, for the sake of argument, even if it was, the fact that Christians gladly used this term for centuries, moreover, all prominent Christians from Augustine to Calvin, or from Spurgeon to Washer felt okay to be called Christians - that's more than enough for me. Regarding 1 Peter 4:16 - Peter clearly used the word "Christian" - you can dislike it or try to reinterpret the obvious word usage, but this is a fact. Regarding 'Got Torah Got Truth' - no one argues, that every word of God (including Torah) is true. The problem is, if the Torah is the final and complete truth (which needed no logical development and completion, if I may say so), what was the point of Jesus's incarnation and crucifiction? Didn't Jesus accomplish something important and play a big role (to say the least) in God's redemption plan for humanity? If Hebrew Roots theology is true, it means that Jesus's incarnation and crucifiction changed nothing, it means that Jesus was solely a prophet like Elijah, or Isaiah or John the Baptist. And Hebrew Roots guys clearly teach that, maybe not explicitly though. They teach that the sacrifices still would be needed, and the only reason there are no sacrifices is that the Temple is destroyed - but this teaching clearly contradicts the New Testament, especially the book of Hebrews. And there is much more, like circumcision issues and so on.

@@harryabrahams2770 by the way, your interpretation of the word “Christian” as “little Christ” is completely wrong. Like for instance “Caesarianos” - a supporter of Caesar, “Herodians” - supporters of Herod etc.

We are Jewish on my mother's side which was the first hook and although we were not raised Jewish I was hearing things I had never heard before from my cousin who is a messianic rabbi who went to yeshiva. This is the second hook. I heard the wonderful teaching about Christ fulfilling the biblical feasts. These are wonderful teachings that should have been taught in the church I grew up in. The lack of solid biblical doctrine, in my opinion, is the very reason people end up wasting years of their lives going the wrong direction. Through prayer, Bible study, and listening to solid Bible teachers like Michael Heiser, Adrian Rogers, etc I was finally able to come back into what I believe is a solid biblical base

Shalom, Shalom! My name is Ayelet, I am originally from Israel and a Jewish believer in Yeshua for 15 years now. I am not “religious”, but always seek to have a real relationship with God according to HIS Word, and maintaining my Jewish identity in Messiah is extremely important to me. My husband is a Gentile, I am Jewish and we are both followers of Yeshua to the best of our ability and understanding (which is evolving as our understanding grows and change too). Just so you understand better where I am coming from, I would say that my views are more inline with scholars and ministries like Dr. Michael Brown, One for Israel, Dr. Arnold Fruchtenbaum, to name a few and NOT with the “Hebrew Roots” movement in general. Your video here brought up a couple of questions for me that I am hoping you can help clear: If gentiles, through faith in Yeshua, become a part of the “Family of God”, just like an “adopted child”, wouldn’t they be expected and even required, to follow the “rules of the house” in the same way that the “biological” children (the Israelites) do? After all, isn’t the rules of the house are what God, the Father of the House, made sure to teach to His Children through the Torah (teachings) which He gave them? You say that there are “new” house rules now, because of Yeshua’s death and resurrection, but how can that make sense, if the HEAD of the House (GOD) is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow?? Why would the rules change while He doesn’t? Also, if gentile believers are a part of the “Family of God”, and that family is “Jewish”, than wouldn’t it make more sense for them to live like “Jews”?? Just to clarify, I believe that as believers, Jew or Gentile, we are all “Children of God” in the same way and therefore should have the same rules and expectations. If God does not change, and if He specifically expressed His rules, including the Shabbat, the Kosher laws, the wearing of the Tzitzit, etc., etc., it should follow that He still wants His Children (Jew AND Gentile) to obey the same rules. Could you explain your understanding of it, and if you think there is a different set of rules for Jews or Gentiles believers, what would those differences be and what would justify the reason for any differences? FYI, if anyone here would like to learn some Hebrew Pronunciation, you might enjoy my KZfaq Channel: youtube.com/@TheWORDinHEBREW I look forward to your reply. Thank you. Hello, WIH! Great to hear from you. You asked, "If gentiles become a part of the 'Family of God' wouldn’t they be expected to follow the 'rules of the house' in the same way that the 'biological' children (the Israelites) do?" My answer is yes! The "house rules" are the same for every member of God's family. And because of the work of Yeshua on the cross, those house rules do not include the Mosaic rituals. This is not because God has changed. He ordained from the very beginning that it should be so. When God gave the law of Moses to Israel, He gave it to guide and guard His people until He sent His Son (Gal. 3:23-25). This was the plan all along. And Scripture says Gentiles are not required to live like Jews, and Jews are not required to live like Gentiles: "Was anyone at the time of his call already circumcised? Let him not seek to remove the marks of circumcision. Was anyone at the time of his call uncircumcised? Let him not seek circumcision. For neither circumcision counts for anything nor uncircumcision, but keeping the commandments of God. Each one should remain in the condition in which he was called. (1 Cor. 7:18-20) The body of Christ is made up of both Jews and Gentiles. "Is God the God of Jews only? Is he not the God of Gentiles also? Yes, of Gentiles also, since God is one-who will justify the circumcised by faith and the uncircumcised through faith" (Rom. 3:29-30). In the last days, God will be worshipped by people "from *_every nation,_* from all tribes and peoples and languages" (Rev. 7:9). Shalom, Rob

@@TheBiblicalRoots Shalom Rob! Thank you so much for getting back with me so quick :-) I appreciate your clarification and agree with you on that. One area of "confusion" for me, is that in the last days, especially during the Millennial Kingdom (Ezekiel Temple), the sacrificial system will be re-established (though I understand, not for atonement for sin), people will come from all nations, Jews & gentiles, to observe the feasts in Jerusalem (good luck finding parking, lol) and to offer sacrifices. So, WHY is all of this necessary if Yeshua fulfilled the Torah once and for all? Yeshua will reign from Jerusalem for 1,000 years, after He locks Satan away, so there will be no "satanic" influence on people during that entire time. Everyone will know exactly who Yeshua is! So, wouldn't it be enough for the living people at that time, to just put their faith in Yeshua and worship God without all the external Torah customs, rituals & sacrifices? And if it will be required of believers and UNbelievers during the Millennial Kingdom, why not now? Other than the fact that there is no Temple today, if God's standards for worship and being in a real relationship with Him, required the sacrifices, feasts, Shabbats, kosher foods, rituals etc. etc. during the times of the Bible AND during the Millennial Kingdom, why would it not be required of us all now? Wasn't Yeshua's work enough for ALL times and ALL people? Did He not bring the Torah to its fulfillment once and for all? The entire scene of the Ezekiel Temple and the Millennial Kingdom seem to take us (or the living people at that time) straight back to Mt. Sinai. Or is it not? What am I missing here? "Hebrew Roots" people will use this to argue that God's standards for worship & relationship with Him do not change and therefor they are good & applicable to all believers at all times, just as they were applicable in the Pentateuch and just as they will be in the last days (at least whatever CAN be followed/kept, including the kosher laws (biblical), the seventh-day Shabbat, the Tzitzit (fringes), the beards, the feasts, etc. etc., just to name a few). So, because of that, they hold that as believers, Jew or Gentile, we are to live IN obedience to God's will and to His standards, which He laid out for us throughout the Torah, the Tanach AND the New Testament 😳 I hope you can help me sort through this 🙏 At the end of the day, I think that all believer want to live according to and in obedience to God's will (well, at least I like to think that...), so with everything I wrote above, what should this "obedience" really look like today, during the last days and forever? After all, I think we all agree that God does not change. Thanks again for responding & God bless! Ayelet

@@TheWORDinHEBREW I have been reading your comments and I hope you don't mind me butting in here. Much of what you have asked- I have asked myself, but never got a reasonable explanation. Mainstream popular Christian belief carelessly dis-regard the Law, on the other side the HR movement also have their biases, when they try to explain some of the difficult verses of Paul, sometimes they come up with good explanations that you know match the verse and the surrounding context, but other times I feel that they are clutching at straws and have not really understood what Paul was trying to convey either. Here is what I see - there is Law that defines sin, law that defines righteousness and holiness, all these Laws are allowing us to align ourselves with the very intrinsic nature of Yahuwah. These Laws cannot change, as the intrinsic nature of Yahuwah does not change. These Laws did not come into being at Sinai, since sin is transgression of the Law, and sin entered through Adam - long before Sinai. These Laws are therefore as unchanging as Yahuwah Himself. The covenant with Noah and with Abraham was with people who were already righteous in regard to observing and keeping the Law (Gen 26 1-5), but when we arrive at Sinai there was a mixed multitude full of transgressions. However the first covenant made there did NOT include a Levitical priesthood and a complex system of sacrifices. That came into play only after they broke the first covenant. In addition the covenant was sealed and blood ratified in Ex 24. Then Yahuwah calls Moses up to the mountain again to give him the testimony and a Law? What ? how can you add a law now after the book of the covenant has been sealed and sprinkled with blood? Some people say this was because Exodus was not written chronologically, however these details definitely have a chronological order. Moses then receives the details of the tabernacle (A place for Yahuwah's presence to be confined in) , and an Earthly high priest ( a mediator which the people essentially asked for when they said they do not want to hear Yahuwah's voice directly). This was a deviation from Yahuwah's perfect will as He wanted them to be a kingdom of priests and to have His manifest presence available to all of them, but He allowed this addition to accommodate their stony hearts and fear. Clearly the book of Hebrews explains how Yeshua is now high priest forever after the Melchizedek order and not Aaronic, how His sacrifices are more perfect, and this is what I believe Paul was referring to as the schoolmaster to bring us to Messiah - since clearly these were the " laws added because of transgressions" (Gal 3). Placing myself in the shoes of a first century devout Jew, trying to keep the Law and then coming to bring my sacrifices, it is easy to see how I could place too much trust in those "works" and believe I could receive justification from them, rather than just atonement. It must have been a massive mindset change, to let go of those and place faith in Messiah's sacrifice. The Law though that defines sin is still expected to be kept and guarded. Popular Christian doctrine places the Law into man-made categories of civil, ceremonial and moral. Sounds reasonable, but it is extremely and subtly deceptive, firstly the bible does not make those distinctions, secondly - civil is a category, ceremonial is category, moral is not a category but an underlying attribute of all Law. Breaking the Law is immoral, who is man to define the boundaries of moral when it comes to instructions issued from the most high ? This shows a clear lack of respectful fear. Following the man-defined moral code causes many to disregard the laws pertaining to holiness. Clearly from Peter's epistle he tells us to be Holy because He is holy, quoting from the Tanakh. When Yahuwah speaks about holiness it is always around those laws that so many in the popular Christian community dismiss as ceremonial or done away with. By keeping the laws pertaining to holiness, we are making a distinction, an identifying mark of the One we are worshipping. There are many atheists that have very good moral values, they are excellent spouses, they don't cheat , steal or break the last few of the 10 words. They even display amazing love for their fellow man but that is not sufficient. Then we level up to Christianity where they do the same but put the name Jesus on top of that, but don't believe they should follow the Laws that define holiness? The name Jesus is meaningless if you mis-represent Him by your lawlessness. The name I believe - and you can correct me here, in Hebrew culture carried more than just an identifier, it represented everything the person stood for , their authority , their character. What about the millennium? I am still trying to wrap my head around why there will be sacrifices there. Maybe as a memorial? The people were to sacrifice a Passover lamb long after the event actually happened, in a memorial gesture, so possibly this is a reason for the sacrifices in the millennium. I am not sure of this myself still trying to find reasonable commentary on it. However if people think the Law is a burden and something troublesome, then why are they looking forward to the Millennium reign, because that is how things are going to work during that timer period. Shalom

@@anthonykloppers3377 Shalom Anthony and thank you for your comment. You’ve made some very good observations which I believe I agree with, but let me ask you this: How would you differentiate between the Torah Law’s that defines holiness to those who don’t? I would think that Hebrew Roots people would argue that every Torah Law is a Law for holiness 😳 Is that what you are saying? I agree that God set up His standards from the beginning and His standards don’t change. He is Holy and we are to approach Him in holiness and purity. The question is, how can we really do that when there is no Temple, no physical sacrificial system, no Levitical priesthood and obviously God does not dwell on earth in the same way as He did when the Law was given? I believe that we are in the “age of Grace” now, thanks to what Yeshua accomplished in His first coming. The Law/Torah is still (and always will be) good, perfect, valid and useful, but thanks to the work of Yeshua, our sins are now covered by His sacrifice and we can now offer our sacrifices spiritually, and not physically. As for the Millennial Kingdom, one good explanation I heard recently for the sacrifices that Ezekiel describes, is that because there will be a physical Temple again and because God will be dwelling there, the sacrificial system will be reinstated as it was in the Torah. I believe Ezekiel 44-47 is literal rather than “metaphorical” or “memorial”. The people that will be living on earth then, after the tribulation, will be just as sinful as we are today, and will still need to cleanse and purify themselves before approaching God, especially since He will be dwelling with them again. These sacrifices will not take away sin (they never did!), but they will only cover over it. Having sacrifices in the millennial kingdom, does not mean that we have an obligation to “keep” Torah today. We have grace in that. I believe that anyone is welcome to “keep” any of those physical commandments, wear the tzizit, keep Kosher, keep Shabbat, celebrate the biblical feasts and so on, in whatever way they can, want to, or feel led to, but I don’t see how there can be any obligation to do so, and most definitely, I believe that our salvation and spiritual maturity can’t be dependent on any physical or external expressions of whatever we might believe, but is only depended on full hearted faith in Yeshua, His teachings and His work, otherwise, what exactly did He fulfill? It’s amazing to me how there can be so many interpretations of the “same” Word of God. Of course there are many factors that can affect one’s interpretation, like if they use a translation, which translation or original text, one’s “filters”, influences, exposures, background and of course agenda, just to name a few. As believers now, when we enter the Millennial Kingdom, we will be resurrected with new bodies, and we will not be subjected to the sacrificial system Ezekiel speaks about. We will be ruling over the entire world along side with Yeshua. We will have new hearts, and a NEW Law written on them. We will be sinless and pure. Therefore, I don’t really see how the sacrificial system in the Millennial Kingdom is relevant to believers today? In either case, this whole area is full of speculations, uncertainty and many opinions… At the end of the day, we will all know better after death… Until than, we should embrace the grace that we receive now through our faith in Yeshua and keep our hearts and minds as holy as we can 😉 Shabbat Shalom & Happy Sukkot (Feast of Tabernacles) 🙏

Accept the whole smoothie and quit trying to pick out the parts you like/dislike, sir. If you go through the whole Bible, you come to the conclusion that we are part of Israel. If you only take the NT and mix it with what you have been taught, then you become a gentile church. The NT alone doesn't teach this, but it's the conclusion you come to when you add in manmade doctrine.

The point for me is not about whether Gentiles are supposed to follow the Torah laws, but rather, are Gentiles, the wild olive tree, indeed grafted into the Abrahamic tree, in other words, Israel? For me the answer is a clear and obvious yes, because that's exactly what the text says. It seems to me so far that when people tackle this issue they never tackle that issue before they start talking about whether we're supposed to keep the Torah laws. Let's talk about the other issue first because that is paramount

I'm not saying this is the case but check it out. Back before cretin meant “a stupid person,” it was a medical term for a physical deformity that came from a specific disease. Surprisingly, the root of cretin is the Swiss French word crestin, which means “Christian.” It seems that people back then wanted to remind themselves that even though cretins look unusual, they’re still humans who deserve kindness. Knowing this makes it hard to use cretin in a mean way, but there are plenty more rude words you could use.

@@TheBiblicalRoots As I said, I've only scratched the surface of the posted teachings from Olive Branch Fellowship, but I've yet to hear Michael teach that salvation is acheived by anything other than by faith in the death and resurrection of Jesus. I have heard him extensively read Scripture (OT & NT) and teach foundational issues addressed by at least 2 witnesses in Scripture, that most Christian pastor/teachers won't even attempt to unpack. I started with "Who Are We 1&2," "The Ancient Wedding Model," "The Why Of It All," and the "Moedim Series." I've been looking for false teachings that would bind us by Mosaic Law. I have found none, so far. I have heard him say that the feasts are not man's traditions, not Israel's feasts, but God's appointed holy convocations. I've also heard him teach that Torah teaches man how to respond to God's invitation to "draw near," and to observe God's feasts in remembrance of God's works; not ours. I don't know Michael, but I haven't seen the red flags you speak of. Again, I may be wrong, but from the view of a seasoned retired paralegal, I can detect when both sides of an argument/debate are not in direct conflict and one, or both, of the views aren't clearly understanding the other. @@TheBiblicalRoots After posting my reply, I realized that I didn't really answer your question. I think you are not seeing the "weightier matter" (to coin Michael's phrase) of God's solution to the problem's of Israel becoming an adulterous bride at Mt. Sinai, that God is a jealous husband who has the legal right (under Torah) to require his wife to drink from the bitter cup and/or death, how God divorced Israel, how can God reconcile his bride to himself when Torah forbids remarriage to a divorced wife, how is God going to overcome other marriage laws in Torah, how will God gather and adorn His new bride (Israel, Judea, Gentiles, all nations) and not break His own decrees? (Esther). His plan of redemption, His reconciliation of His bride allowing the old marriage covenant to be concluded allowing a new covenant to be entered into--these are the solution. We (me included) struggle with our identity, our actions, etc., when maybe we should be a little more focused on God's plan of using us to be His witnesses and gather souls for His Kingdom.

In Jewish tradition If your adopted you are entitled to an inheritance and everything that the natural offspring are entitled to. It's not hard to understand how were Israel. If you follow christ then you're an israelite. Your only a gentile until you started believing. It's not a physical principle. It's a spiritual one. Your spiritual israel. Like Jacob and esau. Jacob was Israel and esau wasn't. Jacob was adopted by God. Not esau. Then the title Israel was given to Jacob after wrestling the angel. Because he was changed. He was a Jewish already though! So israel doesn't have to do with genealogy. It is a spiritual gift.

@@CleanlinessisGodliness Who is really teaching “Replacement Theology” ? (Did God fulfill His promises to the Jewish people at Calvary? Matthew 26:28, John 19:30) The advocates of modern Dispensational Theology often accuse others of promoting “Replacement Theology”, or some may even say “Antisemitism”. What does the Bible say about their accusations? 1. Who is replacing Christ as the seed of Abraham through which all the families of the Earth would be blessed in Genesis 12:3, with Abraham’s modern descendants? (See what Paul said in Galatians 3:8) 2. Who is replacing the one people of God in John 10:16, with two peoples of God ? 3. Who is replacing the one seed (Christ) in Galatians 3:16, with the many seeds? 4. Who is replacing the children of the promise in Romans 9:8, with the children of the flesh? 5. Who is replacing the faithful “remnant” of Israelites in Romans 11:1-5, with the Baal worshipers? 6. Who is replacing the word "so" in Romans 11:26, with the word "then"? 7. Who is attempting to replace the Church made up of all races of people, with one made up only of Gentiles? Why did Peter address the crowd as “all the house of Israel” in Acts 2:36, when about 3,000 Israelites accepted Christ on the Day of Pentecost? 8. Based on Hebrews 9:15, the New Covenant cannot be separated from the Messiah’s death. Is the covenant in Daniel 9:27 connected to the Messiah’s death in Daniel 9:26. Is the covenant with the “many” in Daniel 9:27 the same covenant with the “many” in Matthew 26:28? If it is, some have replaced the New Covenant in Daniel 9:27 with a future covenant made by an antichrist not found in Daniel chapter 9. (See the 1599 Geneva Bible used by the Pilgrims.) 9. Those promoting the Two Peoples of God doctrine of Dispensational Theology often accuse others of teaching “Replacement Theology”, but are they the masters of it? Are they promoting a form of Dual Covenant Theology based on race? (See “genealogies” in Titus 3:9) Is the most important genealogy in the Bible found in Matthew 1:1? Is God's Son the ultimate fulfillment of Israel? Why has the modern Church done a pitiful job of sharing the Gospel with modern Orthodox Jews? Why would someone tell them they are God's chosen people and then fail to share the Gospel with them? Who is the seed of the woman promised in Genesis 3:15? Who is the "son" in Psalm 2? Who is the "suffering servant" of Isaiah 53? Who would fulfill the New Covenant promised in Jeremiah 31:31-34? Who would fulfill the timeline of Daniel chapter 9 before the second temple was destroyed? Why have we not heard this simple Old Testament Gospel preached on Christian television in the United States on a regular basis? 10. Watch the KZfaq video “Genesis of Dispensational Theology” to see the origin of this man-made doctrine, which is less than 200 years old. It was brought to the United States about the time of the Civil War by John Nelson Darby. The doctrine was later incorporated into the notes of the Scofield Reference Bible, and then spread through much of the modern Church. Dallas Theological Seminary in Dallas Texas was created in part to promote John Darby’s Two Peoples of God doctrine of Dispensational Theology. Lewis Sperry Chafer, the first president of Dallas Theological, had the following to say about the difference between Israel and the Church: “The dispensationalist believes that throughout the ages God is pursuing two distinct purposes: one related to the earth with earthly people and earthly objectives involved which is Judaism; while the other is related to heaven with heavenly people and heavenly objectives involved, which is Christianity.” Lewis Sperry Chafer, Dispensationalism (Dallas, Seminary Press, 1936), p. 107. Chafer states that, ‘Israel is an eternal nation, heir to an eternal land, with an eternal kingdom, on which David rules from an eternal throne,’ that is, on earth and distinct from the church who will be in heaven.” Lewis Sperry Chafer. Systematic Theology. 1975. Vol. IV. pp. 315-323. John Walvoord, another prominent voice of Dallas Theological stated… "...it is an article of normative dispensational belief that the boundaries of the land promised to Abraham and his descendants from the Nile to the Euphrates will be literally instituted and that Jesus Christ will return to a literal and theocratic Jewish kingdom centred on a rebuilt temple in Jerusalem. In such a scheme the Church on earth is relegated to the status of a parenthesis.” John F. Walvoord, The Rapture Question.1979, p. 25 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Are there two peoples of God in John 10:16? (See also 1 John 2:22-23, 2 John 1:7-11.) What is the land promise to the Old Testament Saints in Hebrews 11:15-16? Based on 2 Peter 3:10-13, is this earth “eternal”? Will it be replaced by a new earth? Based on Acts 2:36, and Romans 9:6-8, and Romans 11:1-5, and Hebrews 12:22-24, and James 1:1-3, can faithful Israel and the Church be separated into two different groups? Who is the New Covenant promised to in Jeremiah 31:31-34, and Hebrews 8:6-13? Will modern Orthodox Jews ever be saved outside of the New Covenant Church?

Your video was bearable up until your last segment or two where you summarize that keeping the law is not required for salvation or for righteousness. Of course it is not required for salvation, else no one could be saved. But didn’t Yahusha say, “IF YOU LOVE ME, keep my commandments.” Didn’t Yahusha keep His Father’s commandments? Didn’t John say he who keepeth not his commandments is none of His and the truth is not in him. Didn’t Paul say you are the servant to whom you submit yourself to obey, whether you submit to sin or whether you submit to obedience, it will show you who your master is. Isn’t sin the transgression of the law? Doesn’t John say if we love Yahusha, WE OUGHT TO WALK AS HE WALKED? Doesn’t Peter tell us that in all matter of living, we ought to be holy, set apart, as He is holy. Please note that Peter is directly referring to Leviticus 11, the chapter for dietary laws as he is quoting the Most High commanding his people to be holy as He is holy. Paul wrote that a true Jew is one inwardly with a circumcised heart. Is circumcision a matter of the heart, by the Spirit, and not by the letter? Is the inward Jew a member of the cultivated olive tree? In the epistle to the Romans, Paul writes, “Not all who are descended from Israel are Israel.” Is the Israel that Paul talks about the same Israel as the cultivated olive tree? In the epistle to the Ephesians, Paul writes about a mystery-that through the gospel the Gentiles are heirs together with Israel, members together of one body, and sharers together in the promise in Christ Jesus. Is this one body the cultivated olive tree? Jesus said He has two folds and they will become one flock. Is the one flock of Jesus the cultivated olive tree? Is there a spiritual Israel? What do you call the body of glorified saints who will rule and reign with Christ on earth? Are the glorified saints members of the cultivated olive tree? Is the cultivated olive tree the Israel of God? In Isaiah 49 the Messiah is referred to as Israel. Because gentile believers are in the Messiah, does that make them members of the Israel of God? Are the sons of Abraham the Israel of God? Who are the sons of Abraham? The sons of Abraham, counted righteous by faith, comprise the cultivated olive tree; they are Jew & Gentile-the “Israel of God…” The eternal covenant community of YHWH… The bride of Christ… The saints of the Most High God.
