I love how everyone is afraid that the AI we try to create may one day destroy us and then we question the possibility of us being the AI .

I've been watching videos about us being in a simulation for days and keep thinking about it. Then it reaches to a point where i find that there's no point for me to be obsess about whether or not my life's a simulation because the moment i fall asleep and start dreaming,then wake up to realize I'm in the same body and life every day, i just know that i won't be able to escape from it. So what if it's a simulation? It still can't deny the fact that I'm still trapped inside a body being simulated. We're pretty much doing what we can and only capable of with this small body of ours. Where we yearn for miracles don't exist unless we try to make one out of it. .. or so, that's what i thought.

These are the questions I don't want to be asking myself at 3am

When I was 5, I always though we were in a simulation even though I didn’t understand the concept of it. I thought there was a different world that was like those cartoons in tv and we were built in this world that’s 3d. At the end, I was just small, I only imagined and thought.

I recently went on holiday and stayed in a cabin in the middle of nowhere. Never been there before. On the first morning i made myself some tea, and as i stepped outside on the balcony to look at the huge Pine trees, i instantly felt a dark presence around me, the strongest Deja vu i had ever felt. Everything that happened over the next couple of minutes, i had already lived. I had stayed in that exact cabin, my partner was sitting opposite me with the same background behind him. I knew 100% i had already lived through the scene. either from a dream or a simulation of some kind. What i do recall was the feeling of someone or something hovering over me, and a dark shadow around me. And then it was gone in an instant.

All I can say is that I'm grateful for my life in this wonderful , beautiful, universe.

Me: *has finals tomorrow* My brain: Isn't this a good time to have an existential crisis-

The true question is: Does it matter if we're in a simulation?

Once player is not observing, it going back to code and algorithm without need to be materialized 5. It has universal 'server tick' to synchronize everything and to avoid inconsistency around the simulated world. which is speed of light. 6. Since space and time are the output of algorithm, Anything unrelated to wolrd rendering algorithm, are not bound with space and time and can communicate instantly since it run outside the rendering algorithm. Such as quantum entanglement 7. Since almost everything is centered around the player, and almost everything is being rendered as per the player pbservation, not only future, but also any past time event is still on a form of code, and being rendered once the player is observing it. Thus, quantum delayed choice was happened 8. When the player dies, it could goes to spectator mode. Since the player viewport is not necessarily hard coded to the rendered body. 9. The player could go to different realm or mini games during sleep 10. There are millions of account and eyewitness, testimoning about them being experiencing some kind of glitches in the matrix 11. There are literal source code of higher level programming language, written and stored in every living things. That when compiled and run, it will create chemical nano machine that run autonomously based on previously written code. 12. Religious text that literally said "surely, this worldy life is just a game play, and the hereafter is better for the piety, dont they think it?"

The question is , is this question "are we living in a simulation?" Is our own question or it has been programmed by the creator of the simulator to satisfy us.

This is a subject that I find very difficult to wrap my head around... It's a truly amazing theory.

This is a fun idea to explore. But it is impossible to falsify. It suffers from the self-reference paradox. (This sign is false.) This is to say that any test being made could be part of the simulation. A test to determine if a test is part of the simulation could also be part of the simulation, ad infinitum. But they are still worth pursuing for the new discoveries that could be made!

The answer we're searching for the question "are we simulation?" is entirely based on our understanding of what simulation is. We named this thing ourselves. Our understanding of a computer is based on what type of computers we make and how far we've gone. So we may never find a real answer. If we can trick viewers of movies by making plot twists and easter eggs, why can't a so much more intelligent and advanced entity do the same and beyond?

An important part that I'm dying to know is if we are part of the simulation or we are characters within the simulation. Are we being played by a user? Or is a simulation just run without much interference from a user? Imagine if most of us are just simulated characters but among us walk people who are actually avatars of the beings playing the simulation.

If the universe is a simulation, I'd like to ask the operators something. When I die in this simulation, can you transfer my mind into a robot in your universe and see what your world is like?

This question only rose when we invented computers and saw what computers are capable to do. And that gave us and Idea of what if we are like computer program.

The thing that blew my mind when I read about this is that it may be impossible to simulate a reality, but if it IS possible then we are certainly in a simulation ourselves. This is because if it is possible, given enough time some civilization in our reality most certainly WILL get to simulate one. Their simulated reality, given enough time will simulate one of their own and so on. Given this, we would most certainly not be the ORIGINAL reality, it would be most logical that we are being simulated by a civilization who are themselves being simulated by another and so on.

I wish the person playing me gave me friends

I questioned the same to myself a few months ago. As per my opinions, "it is possible" and we're not capable of thinking about the complete picture, because we have way too many beliefs. But my question, in the end, was "Why would someone do something like that?" & "Why would someone spend that much energy doing so?"

I see us as a memories that has been seen and stored as it was seen by a greater life as memories always change as time goes on until that sight are gone.
