"You know, as I look back over the years, they all seem to have passed very quickly. But I shall always have very happy recollections of you all. And all that I can really say now, is thank you." - Mr. Earnest Granger/Arthur Brough, 1974. That speech Mr. Granger gives, short as it may be, essentially sums up my own feelings on how grateful I am for this series. The comedy and lightheartedness has helped bring me out of some slumps in my life so this show was a much needed lifeline. It's such a pity that none of the actors in this show are around for me to thank them in person. I would like to mirror Mr. Granger's speech back to this wonderful cast for the years of laughter and joy they've brought me and my family.

@russellcollier8202 it has not gotten any better. Other series you are lucky to even get clips, such as Moone Boy and Vicar of Dibley, Keeping Up Appearances, etc. So I guess I should be thankful for having the episodes of AYBS that we do have here. If it helps, they do have quite a few Australian versions of AYBS on YT as well. Has John Inman reprising his role, with all new cast, but same characters. Almost line for line the same thing, except for Australian slang and names of places. I do prefer the originals though without a doubt. And at least one free AYBS movie for free on YT as well. But they reuse a lot of the same jokes and I do not find it as funny as the series.
