Did anyone else find themselves bawling during this? My base level is always high anxiety, but the last few weeks I’ve been so tense that I can barely breathe. I started the tapping and connected to a small triggery thing from childhood, but by the time I got to under the mouth something unstuck itself and I crumbled into sobbing, but it was the kind of tight, choking sobbing a child does when they can’t catch their breath. It shocked me. I don’t even know what was triggering it as it was all such a jumble of childhood and current stuff all muddled together. I know I hold onto things and bury them really deep so maybe this tapping thing is a way of bringing shit up to the surface which we can then process and let go of? I’m really curious now and I’m definitely going to explore it more. Thanks Russ for this enlightening journey. 💜

This really reminded me of emdr. It was even better tho in a way cuz I love that it made me feel connected to my body. I can see how that would have happened to you bc it felt like it was a lot easier to untie the knots when you're tapping. I was in a rly good mood when I did this and registered from a 6 down to a 3 after. If I'd been stressed or v anxious I'm sure it would have drastically helped. Def holding onto this!

So glad you shared this❣️ I am currently reading through EFT for Christians. I looked it up on KZfaq & here you are, NOT a coincidence 🕊🙏 You are such a lovely person. I have experienced so many healings in my life I sometimes think I should be "over it" by now. I am 50, raised 5 children & Married for 26 yrs. Yet I am still carrying these traumas around physically. I am a very emotional person & Feel Everything so Deeply!! I felt like I was carrying too much Sadness & pain still. This brought up several issues for me & I cried. Afterward I felt so much lighter. I was at least a 7 at the start & down to about a 3 by the end. I will keep following these videos & applying EFT. Thank You SOOO MUCH for Showing us how to do this💜 🌻🦋 This is going to help so many people💐💖

I never realized the anxiety I had due to me being a late in life kid. My dad had me at 46 with my mom being about 10 years younger. They divorced when I was very young. He was an educated man, fought in WW2 and had dreams of entrepreneurship and never swore a DAY in his life. Mom was an abusive alcoholic who cussed like a sailor so, dad pretty much raised me. When I was about 8, I found a cassette tape with my dad doing basically an audio diary. It was then I found out he had stage 4 Esophageal cancer. I told no one. I didn't know what or how to. He beat it twice but it came back a 3rd time and took him... He died in 96' at 76 years old. He had issues swallowing food for years and really suffered the effects of the cancer and chemo... My dad was amazing and I think about him every day. I now realize just how much his age and health really effected me. This occurred during this video while I was " Tapping". I figured a lot of my issues were from a bad marriage and divorce (she cheated) but the thought that hit me was my dad and his age/health. Thank you Russell. Maybe I'm still able to do something with my life.

I've known about tapping for at least 20 years. I learned tapping through Gary Craig, who was a student of Dr. Roger Callahan. Nick, I believe learned from Gary, and continued to get it out there. Gary "gave it away" to the world, because it is SO VALUABLE. Tapping has helped me on many issues, and I continue everyday to tap on stuff. I hope people continue to learn and use it, and spread the word about tapping. We all deserve peace, health, and happiness.

Thankfully I felt no withdrawals when I quit cold-turkey ... Tapping was one of the first techniques I learned .. and it really does help!! Both physically and mentally!! Tapping remains in my arsenal of methods .. Meditation, Tapping, Yoga, Scripting ... It's amazing - I try all the time to get people to explore "alternative" strategies ... Oh Wow- didn’t know I needed this today. 🙏🏻 Just experienced horrific footage and conference goer commentary on the Travis Scott concert where he was playing discordant tones and people (kids!) were dropping. When I tuned in to your share here, I noticed my chest was in a state frozen shock on one level. I tapped with you because- why keep that shit going?! A memory surfaced from me falling down in a dark pile in the middle of concert. I’d “forgotten” about this. I remembered thinking that I truly might die tonight. There was no way to get my feet back underneath me. Miraculously the guy on top of me got up somehow and quickly turned and pulled me up. We managed to pull everyone up but it was terrifying. I’m glad to have touched this traumatic snapshot of a past moment so I could clear it from my body now. Thank you so much divine brothers for bringing the healing while the world is truthing. It’s intense. It’s imperative we go through this. AND we’ve got skills to work with it. We’ve got each other. ❤️. Now back to helping the world RISE! 🦁

Brilliant. Didn’t take it too seriously at first as I focused on my sore throat, ended up focusing on a totally awful memory from when I was a teenager and by the end my throat didn’t hurt nearly as much and I don’t feel the same cringe about that memory.
@ifinicle
@ifinicle 2 жыл бұрын
The throat chakra is where our truths are revealed or quieted. Your voice was silenced due to this teenage memory and was felt within your sore throat. Many times we do not realize that our internal aches and pains are actually stuck energies from stagnant, unresolved memories. This is why many people will cry while tapping on a trauma. It's not that they are sad, it's that the emotional trauma becomes dislodged and released and the cleansing can create an avalanche of emotional ejection. When we stuff these traumas down, it's because we don't like the pain that they make us feel, so instead of feeling it deeply and then releasing it, we tend to just put more and more "bricks" on it to hide it away. This is where substance abuse and many other addictions come from. The numbness of drugs and alcohol can act as a buffer between us and those traumas that need to be released. Keep on tapping on that trauma until it's down to a 1 or zero!

These tapping techniques are wonderful and evolved thousands of years ago in the ancient practice of Qigong, a physician, Louhan, evolved them to help his patients recover full health. If you tap every day, you become attuned to your body and your body will let you know what it needs. Tapping releases blockages and ignites circulation, energy flows to wherever it's needed and deep rooted stress can dissipate. Its straightforward and simple and we can do it whenever we need it. In qigong we practice it daily 💕

A decade or more ago and as the result of massive amounts of trauma, I had developed severe PTSD. At its worst, it was completely and I do mean completely debilitating. In a matter of a week or two I had developed a stutter that eventually was seemingly all-consuming. It started with a few words, then sentences then eventually every time I tried to utter anything at all. Fortunately, I had recently found a therapist who was in tune with what I was experiencing and (unbeknownst to me) he knew how to help. One day I walked into his office, my eyes swollen with tears, I opened my mouth and stuttered nonstop. He gently coached me through it letting me know it was in fact PTSD and it had basically come to a head. He immediately began teaching EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) to me. EFT is quite possibly the forerunner to many modernized tapping techniques. It uses the same pressure points and the same method of using 2 or 4 fingers and in the same progression beginning with between or above the eyebrows and ending with under the armpit or the crown chakra area. Much of the wording is quite similar. EFT brought me out of that chaotic state and into a place of being present again. It helped me cope through the next step that my therapist did which was regressive hypnosis. It may have seemed extreme though extreme measures were exactly what was needed. I regressed back to age 5. I had a stuck memory of a loved one who was threatening suicide and other bits and pieces that came with that, such as how another loved one was panicking and etc and so forth. A memory that I had buried so deep that the only way my subconscious could tell me that it was there was by sending a signal to the rest of my body in the form of a stutter. In one session, that memory was let go of, and I was healed. I've since used EFT on occasion for other reasons. If I felt stressed about a job interview or going on a new date etc. Learning EFT not only helped save my psyche, also EFT has become a tangible tool that I may use most anytime, anywhere. Thank you for sharing this informative and poignant video and of this magnificent (and free!) healing modality Russell and Nick. Namaste

@@taptheunlimited no, EFT tapping is far simpler and easier to use than TFT, which has many different protocols. Gary Craig, founder of EFT learnt the basics from Rodger Callahan, the founder of TFT. And, then Gary simplified his process into one straightforward protocol that is so easy even a child can learn it. However, the subtle nuances of emotions, beliefs, behaviours and subconscious patterns etc are what we as therapists are adept at facilitatiting to achieve emotional relief.

I am an EFT Tapping trainer (UK based). Please note it can be used simply for basic stress relief as per the video, but it can also be used for profoundly deep core issue work with advanced training. Please seek a practitioner for high trauma as the basic application can bring things more to the surface and there are much safer ways to work with Tapping than the basic application.

I am 56 years and have experienced sexual trauma from a distant relative as a child, as well as emotional, psychological, physical, etc. trauma from an alcoholic parent and and other issues from an overprotective parent. I wept during this session and felt a little better afterwards. I hope to add this to my list of tools and therapies to help me overcome decades of reinforced ways of thinking and ruminating and catastrophizing about the world and myself. Thanks to Nick and sister Jessica I have been tapping for years. It is so genuinely effective for those with severe PTSD yet so easy that it can be taught to young children. As a Christian I often use it in conjunction with my prayer life, bringing in the Divine to effect healing. What I can say from my experience is that tapping has uncovered roots, brought healing in complex relationships and even mysteriously (providentially?) promoted emotional healing in others.

Now I’m forced to use my college education to trade again full time to bring money into my household and it’s been very stressful. I’m a great trader with years of experience but when I’m backed against a wall to produce results it’s overwhelming that I’m forced to be right every time or our household will struggle financially

MAX, brother.. Do EFT 1-2 times a day over a long time, go to the ROOT of things when you are ready and comfortable to reprogram the nervous/energy system and subconscious and your life will flourish. Nondual spirituality, too, if it resonates with your Heart at this point in life. Bless be.

I love tapping. It works very quickly. There is another thing you can do and that is to go back to the event on your timeline of life and change the story to a good outcome. The old story is still there but is replaced in frequency to the new story to give you a better outcome of frequency to the "now". When you carry old trauma frequency with you throughout your life, it depresses your overall vibration of who you are. Replace it with a good one. The old one lives in the Akashic Records as does the new one, but you are able to function on a higher frequency wave. Thank you Russell. Love this.

This reduced some of the chronic pain that has been worrying. It worked so well that when the pain I was focusing on went down from a 5 to a 2, some other pain in a different part of the body came to the forefront. When I meditate again this evening I will see which pain is at the forefront and see how many series of tapping is required to peel away all the noticeable layers of physical pain and perhaps reveal some hidden mental or emotional pain that may drive the severity of the physical pains. Looking forward to incorporating this technique into my practice.

I learned about tapping in 2006 at a Tony Robbins event... It really can work! I once stopped pain with it... I had surgery and my incision site came open and I had a nurse with their hand on my wound. It was so painful that I started tapping. I probably looked crazy! But next thing you know, the pain stopped, I could still feel the pressure of her trying to stop the bleeding, but I was no longer in pain. So crazy!!

I recently have become aware that I have been caring early childhood trauma that was a result of the fear of my father's spontaneous rage. Always feeling like I have to walk on eggshells for fear of inciting his anger and fury. This is kept me crippled in multiple areas of my life for decades. I learned about EFT tapping a year and a half ago and I recalled that it helped me recover some childhood experiences that we're healing for me and I thought that this would help me draw up the memories of those experiences with my dad so that I could heal them and I was correct. Thank you Russell for this introduction again. Yes the techniques I used today with This video are very helpful. You have my gratitude

Anxiety would come on just walking thru the park and twitching and everybody looks at you. So after time I just stopped going to social gatherings didn’t want to see my family cause I just get the feeling sorry for me vibes! I don’t like that so I’m slowly trying to get back to my roots. I think this tapping technique is fantastic because we are connecting physical with mental. It reminds me of how a mother pats and rubs a child on the back when the child is upset..no matter what the problem there's something so magical about being held and loved unconditionally that soothes the pain...even though we are all grown,that child is still there, .....*and there's something very therapeutic and cleansing about a good cry" The tapping requires so little effort but has a very soothing effect... I'm going to incorporate this into my meditation...

It can sometimes get worse at the start. If it's too painful, try with a professional. There are some softer ways of approaching Tapping without getting into the thick of the trauma right away. E.g. you can simply tune into your body, don't use any words, close your eyes and gently tap or even just touch the point with fingers and breathe and then move on to the next point. A professional can guide you. X

I’ve struggled with anxiety since I was a child and made to feel maybe not as worthy to be in the company of certain people that I was told were maybe wealthier, smarter, prettier… I mean any group of people that made me feel (or I imagined made me feel or I allowed them to make me feel) inferior. I’ve always felt capable, beautiful and worthy when I’m alone. I shine. I honor my truest highest self. But then I walk out the door and I continue to feel worthy until I guess I don’t. I stop feeling worthy when I am challenged to step up and prove that I can meet a challenge then I shrink in every area of my life. I shrink myself in every area EXCEPT for coming through and stepping up for my children. I do manage to shine for them. I’m a beast for them if I have to be. I will come to their aid to help them be their best. But now that one has successfully made it to college and the other only has a couple years of high school, left I know in my heart that I cannot shrink myself anymore. We lost my husband recently. He died in a very traumatic way. I see that not only were my kids incredibly strong while he was dying but that I was too. I’m so proud of them. I’m so proud of myself too. I think to myself as their mom “if you picked yourself up and put your best face forward to carry on to provide stability after the trauma they experienced, then you are stronger than you know.” And I think to myself “you should never ever ever let someone make you feel inferior again. “ I will always think of my children as literal hero’s. They tried to save him. It didn’t work. I got home just in time before he passed away. But they were the ones who were in the trenches that day. I showed up right at the end and my attempts to help them were all in vain. My point is that if the three of us can get up, carry on, push through, regroup, reassess, reshape, and essentially redefine who we all are as individuals and as a family (different because we are now minus one) then I guess in a sense we can also REWIND and the REPLAY the realities we want to experience and see play out before us in the future. We are strong. We are capable. And now we are coming to live our best lives from this day forward. I’m actually going to copy and paste this now to give to them because that just all came gushing out after this video and I’m not sure I could ever quite express that again! Hahaha So I guess I’m trying to say thank you thank you thank you for posting this video. I will be following your guest in the future. His technique was honestly a breakthrough into … something. Like another lady posted it was “like a damn breaking through of tears.” I feel that I can at least look at my fears in the face now , not conquer them yet but see them at least. I apologize for the 2000 page auto biography hahah but BLESSINGS to you and your beautiful family and to the amazing guest you invite on your channel that help people.

Tapping works for me. Profoundly. I had learnt it a few months before the bushfire in Australia began. When the time came and fires were threatening my space, I used it in real time to try and keep my shit together because I felt like I was losing it. 1 minute of tapping felt so precarious., but the intent of need (survival - myself, my animals) brought powerful immediate focused results. Within half an hour I had a rescue line. It may have happened without tapping - but I was 'there in mind' to see the opportunity - where as before, I was a utterly overwhelmed and blinded by fear. It worked.

Their tapping solution app is worth more than imaginable, and a fraction of the cost of a therapist! They generally host a Tapping Summit which is definitely not to be missed! This modality of healing is PROFOUND! I’m hoping to someday be able to afford to be trained in it and help anyone who has an open enough mind to listen and try it for themselves! There’s aLOT of PTSD Vietnam Vets, etc., that need help and can’t afford it. I’ve turned many friends onto this as well! You asked what other modalities might be of interest: I STRONGLY recommend Emotion Code, by Dr Bradley Nelson. He’s got you tube videos, and a book as well. I personally find both of these techniques indispensable for coping in this ever challenging world. This brings one to a place of being grounded, calm, and in a state of PEACE, as opposed to FEAR! I’m in therapy and aware of the impact this past moments have on current me, this gave me a safe way to explore them. I was highly anxious when I found this video, but the method gave me release. I almost feel like I want to sleep now, which given how anxious I was beforehand is awe inspiring. I am off to download the app now. Thank you for sharing 😊. I’m happy to see you leaning into to the guru role Russell, I feel like I learn a lot from you and appreciate you opening these new paths for me and many others.

That was AMAZING!! I was so stressed and anxious. As I tapped and thought about the two things making me feel that way I realized there was an underlying fear there that was weighing me down. Ill be honest, its not gone but I do feel like I can breathe easier, lighter and not so overwhelmed. I was a little skeptical at first but wow...I do feel so much better. Thank you Russell. I really truly needed that 😊❤

It's funny because as I was tapping along, Nick starts talking about how it feels safe to have these feelings that have somehow and in some way held you back out of some kind of subconscious protection, but then it dawned on me, feeling frustrated, angry and annoyed with myself, doesn't feel safe, it feels awful. It's a very trapped feeling. Who feels safe when trapped?!? Letting go and having the freedom from all those reoccurring thoughts and feelings, feels safe. Huh 🤔 I've never really thought about it like that until just right now! It is very cool what tapping can do for a person 🙏🙌❤️

Im so glad this is now mainstream! I have been using this personally for about 10 years. For some reason I am obsessed with youtube homeless and drug addict vids. I only wish these channels taught these people how to tap and quickly remove their emotional trauma and drug addictions. My dream is to retire and then help the homeless and quickly remove their drug addictions. FasterEFT tapping is my favourite and the most effective technique. It can be as simple as tapping, focus on the emotion. and saying I release it I let it go. Then replace the memory as a positive opposite.

Came across Gary Craig’s EFT website around 18 years ago and bought his full tapping programme on CD. His work with some US vets suffering from PTSD was just ground breaking. I’ve used tapping regularly ever since ..... and shared with friends and family for so many different aches and pains linked to emotional blockages. Important to know that our emotional blocks underlay many physiological problems and behaviours ....and that there may be several emotional feelings surrounding an issue. Many of them are taught/learned response by eg., peers, family society etc., What Gary stressed most was that if you still feel anxious/guilty/sad / other etc., there are still other emotions to address and that you need to carry on doing tapping cycles and using different words to describe the emotions until you reach 0. 🙏

Great 👍 I came off all my medication for chronic pain using tapping about 4 years ago. This was a little reminder, I'm going to have another look I think I could use it again. Blessings and gratitude 🙏❤💙💜

I use tapping to deal with the anxiety of cancer and to remove emotional blocks to healing and sleep. I love tapping because I can do it myself❤

I had an Ex girlfriend cheat on me with a friend of 6 years. I was broken for a long time. This technique helps me so much. I felt that heartbreak and pain go from a 10 to a 1. Thank you Russell.

I suffer with anxiety related to childhood trauma due to my dad dying suddenly when I was 13. My family are not good and showing emotions and I felt completely on my own, afraid to show emotion and just kept it.all to myself. I blamed myself for him dying and was so frightened that everyone I loved would leave me. I shut myself of emotionally from everyone and completely forgot the events of my dad's death and other happy and sad events from my childhood until lockdown when it was like someone had turned a key and unlocked everything all at once and all memories came back to me in an instant. I have tried many alternative therapies, meditation, reiki, counselling, hypnotherapy, kinesiology, and now the Wim Hoff breathing and cold showers. The ones that really have an effect on me are Kinesiology, meditation and the Wim Hoff method. I have also started looking at Internal Family Systems which involves talking to your child parts which seems to work to. Thank you Russell for sharing your methods and knowledge, you have really helped my anxiety improve more than you know. Nameste 🙏
