I am coasting...oh Father forgive me...I am coasting. 😔 I feel His pull continously lately, especially with everything happening in this world, and yet I start to dive back into His word and His gift of grace and mercy...then i fall back off the bed again. I'm so tired of being sick and tired. I feel I'm not doing enough for my spiritual health and for the spiritual health of my husband and kids, and it overwhelms me. Then when I feel this way, I feel so ridiculous because my troubles are nowhere near what some people's troubles are in this world. I'm so grateful for His continued grace and mercy of which I am so undeserving, but He never ceases to give. Please pray for my spirit to continue to seek Him but with a passion like no other. I want to get back to a time where my spirit craved my Father and His holy and true words. My spirit is weary and in Him I know I can find rest. Please pray the resistance needed against the enemy and his worldly ways and pray for me to regain my spiritual strength that Paul talks about in Romans. I am more than a conqueror. I need to start walking like one. Thank you for the prayers in advance. God bless!

I don’t normally ask for someone to pray for me. I always enjoy praying for others. However I’ve reached a scary, sad & uncertain place in my life. My health has declined and with that my husband has abandoned me. On September 9th I’m going to have surgery on my spine. I will be in the hospital for a week then for three months after I will not be able to drive. I have four kids and my parents who plan to help. Please pray that God with be with me and my family. I am trying to become closer to God. I have it my mission to read my Bible from the beginning to the end this year. When one of my children made a huge mistake, and because my husband was so upset, as I was, he lost his job& and we felt abandoned by many people from the Church we attended. Only when she attempted suicide, did we receive a visit from our Pastor. Yes there were close friends who stood beside us, but we felt isolated. As a result of that, my child no longer believes in a one true God. She and her partner do not want us to talk with their small children about Jesus, which breaks my heart. My prayer is that my husband will want to attend Church again, and that my daughter will come to realize there is only one true God.

Please pray for a ministry in our hometown called AGAPE Love from Above to Our Communities. My daughter has been involved since 2012 and the ministry began in 2010. We help those who seem to fall through the cracks. We held a capital campaign and God blessed us with a one time donation which enabled us to buy a 100,000 Sq ft warehouse. Praise God. But boy is Satin coming at us! We have people trying to shut us down. We have fed and helped so many we know God is with us but we just need prayers that pledges will continue to come and those with negativity will find the Lord. My daughter is disabled and has a heart for the Lord, she feels God using her in this ministry. But her pain is getting worse and she is in bed more than out. I would so appreciate your prayers. My mom died 19 weeks ago today. I was blessed to have her live with me and I was her caregiver until she died. She was my best friend, we did everything together. I am really struggling with the loss and hoping that I did enough for her. I struggle everyday just not hearing her voice, etc. And unfortunately I have been left with some bad or sad memories from the awful things cancer did to her. I feel like each day is just overwhelming to me right now.

For many years I stayed too close to where I got in. I have been saved for many years but it wasn't until I really started reading scripture and more recently finding, Max Lucado's wonderful books, teachings, and church services that I have felt a life changing thirst for more knowledge. It all started this year when I went into our church thrift store and bought one of Max's books. (The Angels Were Silent). I couldn't put the book down and now I am reading every book of his I can get my hands on. They are wonderful!!!! The past couple years have been stormy and it is like God reached out to me initially through that book purchase and Max's wonderful message of the good news! My deep and heartfelt thanks!

When I am lost I take one of your books and watch your sermons and joy and peace come in my heart and mind. Thank you Max for all the wonderful things you have written and say. It helps understanding our Lord and God. Heartfelt thanks Max.

Please pray that I will always have hope in my heart and won't be anxious about things . It feels like anxiety and even bitterness is hanging over my heart. I had been asking God for some things and sometimes I just feel like giving up because I haven't seen things happen yet for years. I don't want to be filled with anxiety, day in and day out. Dear max, Please pray for our daughter and son in law. our son in law had a stroke and my daughter has a bunch of bills she has to cope with and she is overwelmed. She trusts our father in heaven to get them through these tough times.

I have a Grade 3 concussion that is making EVERYTHING difficult. I am disabled and between the two, my life has been, radically, changed. I can’t read due to blurred vision, I can’t think without without a great deal of pain in my head, eyes and right ear. When I try to say anything, I forget, immediately, what I was trying to say and can’t remember the most basic things. I have, extreme, light sensitivity. But, even, before all of this, Max is talking about going beyond the basics of growing up my faith as a Christian. I have been going through all of the motions that he talked about. Going to church, etc. i can’t even go to church and fellowship with other believers. I have read through the Bible, numerous, times from cover to cover but I don’t go beyond that. I am, NOT, growing beyond that. And, now that I am house bound, I don’t know how to grow. I, desperately, need help. Even typing this is is a challenge and very painful. I have, two, VERY, dear, Christian, friends who help me to see beyond these walls. They help me to move towards that upward faith, as a Christian. Now, I am contradicting myself. However, I forget how they try to help me. They have suggested trying to find an app to be able to listen to God’s Word. I am trying but haven’t been successful. Broke my R wrist again last week when I fell after taking a shower... flat out on the bathroom floor. Ouch! The med team wants me on opioids. I prefer Tylenol. It's going to be another week b4 I get the cast, then 6-8 weeks of healing. I am over 60, live alone, but I am left handed. Yay. Learning to work the gear shifter and the e-brake on the center console of my SUV w my L hand. I sure need prayer to cope-elderly and disabled suffering tragedy of granddaughter killed by her 1/2 brother and lost both parents after taking care for over 15 years and now my only son left me high and dry after I’ve helped him out 25+years since he’s turned away from God since daughter violently and need to move to assisted living with no help. I have my bible next to me but don’t read and pray as I should. Please pray for some assistance for me in moving and pray I don’t turn away from God more than I should. Dear Pastor Lucado, I am requesting prayer as I am struggling with severe, often debilitating pain, from both spinal stenosis and osteoarthritis. I have been treated with shot therapy and it has not alleviated my pain, it has made it worse. I believe the nerves in my legs are affected. (Most especially on the right side.) I am trying not to succumb to depression as the pain keeps me unable to walk well, or unaided. I have begun to miss church, Bible study, and frequent activities with friends. I need prayer in dealing with aggressive bullies, who not only attack with words, but have who have managed intrusive action into my life / life environment... such as pornographic pictures on a 'friend of a friend' posting on Facebook (which I have now abandoned). This has gone so far, so aggressively, with such extreme invasion, for so many years, I liken it to stalking. It has harmed my family, career, etc. At the same time, I have seen miraculous Words (such as in daily Bible devotions or Bible life application teaching books), after prayer, to ignore attacks, lies, false judgement, etc, attached to it, & to stand strong in knowing myself in the Lord & my value in Him. I have seen Jesus with me in the mess. Yet I still ask for the Body of Christ for prayer support in a very destructive life environment & long term, extreme isolation due to this assault (except for Jesus with me! of course). Blessings.
