Are You Exalted? Good News in the Garden ✝️🛐 *353

Күн бұрынIn the parable of the Wedding Feast, Luke 14:7-11, Jesus tells us to be humbled and if we are deserving, we will be exalted and moved to the front! But if we are assuming we deserve to be first, then we will be asked to switch places with someone more deserving ~ someone who is humble! Did you follow that?! "For all those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted." Simple and profound ~ humble and exalted. Amen!
Today's chores are watering until I am exhausted from the heat and wear and tear. I finally have realized it just isn't worth it. If it dies, it dies, something good may come of it, but it is impossible to save things from this devastating heat, and futile to try. God holds the keys, and who am I to try to work against Him? I can only hope God will give us rain tomorrow.
Today's host plants are butterfly bushes, yellow cone flowers, phenomenal lavender and some bees, even a honeybee. The watering from yesterday has helped some. But extreme heat today will hurt them all yet again. I am trying to enjoy them while I can. They may not make it through this tough time of drought.

He has recently gone viral with a short clip of a sermon, but this one, with the theme, "How far behind are you following," is a perfect message for each person to hear, especially a Christian! I encourage you to listen and, perhaps listen again. I am keeping this one on speed-dial!
Would you like to share His Gospel with others? Then I will eagerly support and encourage you! Start by praying and see where you go! Revelations 3:7b, What God opens, no man can shut, and what God closes, no man can open! When we are standing before such a mighty God as this, and His Holy Spirit will be with us, guiding and directing us, we will not fail! Harvesting for God can simply be reading His Holy Word and/or offering personal experiences or wisdom you have learned and earned through your life. Or it could be as creative and imaginative as God sends you ~ maybe even a garage band creating "Garage Gospel"! Remember, benefits are out of this world, in paradise! God bless you, my friend!

Praise God for your butterflies, is sprinkling rain here again, I don't think it will last long, I looked on the map for your area, it did not show any rain, may the good Lord be with you and bless you, in Jesus mighty name

I am so glad you are getting a bit of rain! I hope it lasts long enough to help some in your area. I will not be surprised if it does not rain like we have been looking forward to here for the last ten days, when it showed up in the forecast. I decided today watering my brains out is just not worth it. If it dies, well, something good will eventually come out of it. I can't keep risking running the well dry to save some plants that may die from the hotter temps/drier weather anyway. It is just the new norm, Norm! Sorry I hope you are doing well today! Do a rain dance to make it last!💦🙌🙏

@@ATouchOfTheSun in my neighborhood, we have one well, three houses on one well, I don't like that, if the neighbors pipe bust I don't have no water, it was like that when I moved here, my son's Uncle owns this place, no wonder he couldn't sell it, have to share driveway, have to share well, big tree above house, limbs can fall anytime, how old are you Beverly? What's your husband's name?

@@NormanChester882 That sounds very challenging, Norm! I know you wish things were different and you could pop into a different place ~ well, at least I am guessing you probably feel that way. Sometimes it is hard to see our blessings, though, and I don't know your situation, but God will give us a silver lining despite our situation. But it must be very difficult living in a compromised situation. Are you able to drive and work or volunteer? If it helps to distance yourself from your home surroundings, maybe God can lead you to a situation that gives you a break from your "four walls." Sometimes that helps, if you are physically able to help others in some way. God be with you in every way, Norm, helping you through to a better place. I am rather old, Norm, almost mid-60s. How old are you ~ fair is fair! My hubby's name is Rick, and we have been married 36 1/2 years. We are blessed in many ways, though we both have issues with different things, God gets us through, one day at a time! I listened to your testimony ~ it is a very powerful one. You surely are an inspiration to others who have found themselves in a similar situation. Have you ever thought about being part of a prison ministry? Our church had that at one time, before Covid and it was very heartwarming, though I didn't participate in it. It was a men's only prison and only men could go. I wonder if there is a group in your area that could use your help? Or if you visited churches, playing and singing and witnessing between songs? That is a very powerful way of shining God's Light in some of the darkest places there are, in lost souls, with no hope. I know you have Jesus in your Life, and now you have Hope. Think of those who are still searching in all the wrong places, with no hope and no mercy ~ and they could easily obtain it, it's free! just the pieces have to be put together right ~ and God is sometimes the one to place the pieces so they can create the miracle of a lost soul found. Your playing and singing is really good! My grandmother sang and played a 1937 Gibson guitar my grandfather bought her. She wrote songs and sang them in church. She would go into rundown buildings and start ministering, and people of all walks of life would come inside. She brought a lot of souls to Christ! Her father was a circuit rider preacher, going over the Appalachian Mountains into Virginia. He would take my mother on the back of the horse with him. I think that is so cool. His name was Dodge Coleman and my mom has a lot of stories about her time growing up in the mountains and such. They found a way out of the mountains when she married my father at 16, and he joined the Air Force. I am proud of my parents for taking such bold steps for a better life. He is 87 now and pretty unsteady walking, but he is my hero for spending so much time with me growing up ~ oh, the wonderful things he did for me! Mom and Dad will be married 70 years this New Year's Eve. Oh, well, I'm sorry to bend your ear so much! It has probably fallen off and you will have to look for it ~ thanks for listening, Norm! 🙂🙏

@@NormanChester882 Norm, you have a lot to offer to others! Just take it one day at a time, knowing you have Jesus with you always! How long have you been saved? I'll bet the blessings have never stopped since that day! In one form or another, Jesus has encouraged you, warmed your heart, made your day a bit cheerier, people have come into your life to encourage you, on and on! If you don't have a driver's license or transportation, how do you get around to get groceries, etc? I pray the hope and mercies of the Lord will bless you continually, and that the Holy Spirit will guide you with His incredible love and joy. If you have six siblings, that is quite a lot of love going around! I am proud of you for sticking to your faith walk with Jesus, kicking those things that have been distractions, along with the destroyer, to the curb! I love you, my brother in Christ! He is Good all the time! And all the time, He is Good! Amen!

She is such a pretty flutterby. LOL That's what my daughter used to call them when she was little. I actually remember that when I attended a wedding, I always sat away from everyone. Mike and I sat alone. And often we were told to move up closer to the wedding couple. So it is a proper way to act. God has manners and decency. I am not concerned with who wins the upcoming election. I am not even sure America will be here in its present form by November. Every morning I get up and ask God, today Lord? Will you come and get me today?

Amen, Sister! I am with you 100 percent, on everything you said, even down to calling them flutterby's! I too find reason to want to leave this earth and all its multiplying problems. Heaven is soo tempting! I suppose we still have work to do here, and hopefully God will keep us afloat to do that. Sister, we know His promises, all throughout the Bible. We can be assured of many things and feel blessed in many ways, can't we? But it is still hard to hear of one more mass shooting, etc. Thank Heavens for our Good News hearts! We know where all the Good News originates from! And that is our most precious gift! May He return for His children soon! But may we do His will until He does! How's Mike today? How are you today? @@ATouchOfTheSun Now that he is doing what he should have done from day one, he is healing very fast. He even walked over to get the mail. We do not get a private box in this subdivision. We have a big box with our addresses on it and two big boxes for packages. It is about 60 feet from our door. He managed to get the package. The key they left always gets stuck. I don't have good hands to do hard twisting. On rainy days my joints feel like they are being pulled out one by one. So yes, thank you sis for your prayers. I love you. I thank God for you everyday. You are my twin sister from different mothers. GBY

@@JJDigitalartStudio Wow! I'm so glad to hear he is finally making a great comeback! He's the comeback kid! I will continue to pray for you, especially on those rainy days with those crazy joints. My pinky is starting to get like that on one hand. I look at it becoming more and more crooked! What can we do? Tomorrow's parable is on the lost coin. I will have to study and pray on this one, for sure! I do hope the rain comes, too! Love you, my twin sis!
