So true, I was thinking for hours and days what I would do if they would implement those mandates.. luckily where I live they have done the opposite and all my stress went away. I wish I wasn't dwelling on possible negative scenarios.

My employer tried to mandate vax, found a new job the next week - less benefits but higher pay. Money comes and goes, your health and your principles live or die with you. Money means nothing if you're dead or have no sense of purpose/self respect/value.

I refuse to let my work play any part of my medical decisions. They sent out a mandatory, supposedly discreet survey asking who was vaccinated and I refused to complete it. If that means I need to find another job, so be it. It's none of their business.

My wife needed to get the vaccine to keep her job as a nurse. She ended up in the emergency room with blood clotting issues from the vaccine. Now we have a $5000 medical bill from the hospital from the ordeal. Seems kind of unfair to us.

This product continues to be experimental, under EUA authorization; informed consent is required and pharma is shielded from liability; by law, it can't be mandated. Request a religious exemption on moral grounds. If the firm is not prepared to be reasonable, find another place to work: Your health is more important: Choose life!

If this man is a Christian, God will provide his needs, even if he walks through these decisions with uncertainty. God is faithful to provide jobs that do not require vaccination or boosters for His children. This young man needs to follow his conscience and stick to his values even if it costs him a job that pays six figures. The Lord is the one who provided the job in the first place, He can easily provide another one. (And the issue of the vaccine is not the same as a restructure in business management. I think that comparison was unfair.)

Went through this a couple months ago. The Bay Area came down with all the mandates. Didn’t accept my religious exemption so I moved and found a job in Sacramento where they don’t give a flip about the vaccine. Thankful for DR’s principles that put me in a financial position to just pack up and go and not be coerced into something I’m uncomfortable with for money.

That's not discrimination. Discrimination is selection based on something you don't choose, like race. This is a requirement of the job. You can choose to get a vaccine and have the job, or you can walk away. If you're the wrong race, you don't have a choice.

Agreed - people are gross. We would not have this problem if people practiced basic hygiene: sleep, wash, distance , cover. Ie If you are blowing your nose and or coughing why are you out of your house - stay home and distance because somewhere along the line you missed a basic hygiene moment - maybe an hour of sleep, scratched your face or eating on the run without waking your hands first...

My gripe with all of this advice tho is the concept that we should all just lay down and passively accept whenever anyone else enacts their will against us. Theres no other product immune from liability, that our tax dollars pay to manufacture AND fund the compensation fund for the few injuries they admit to. It is insane we live in this world where this is even a question. A prominent doctor in Louisville, Kentucky recently passed after becoming known for promoting this novel medicine.:( Its so sad she left behind a family. And all the news stories comment on how shocking it is. Its right in front of our faces.

Yes. I worked in healthcare for what felt like forever and was about to start school to move up the food chain. Hospital let all people go who wouldn't fall into lock step. I never looked back and have almost paid off all of my debt. I consider it a wakeup call. Do your own research and make an educated decision you are comfortable with!

I also lost my job because I refused to get vaccinated. Now I am on unemployment looking for something else. Freedom is more important than the job. Have to be able to live with a clear conscience.

He mentioned that this was his second job out of school. If he is working for a major CPA firm its not uncommon to be making that type of money.

except many workplaces are enacting these policies in unison with governmental direction and sometimes laws... the narrative has been to get 100% of people to take their poison and literally punish those that don't by taking away their livelihoods. Their plan is working as expected.

Like anything else in life, do and say what you want (as long as you’re not hurting anyone) but be prepared to live with the consequences those actions or words bring. That’s what I’m teaching my kids.

Lots of people don’t want the booster. It makes the same amount of sense as someone who didn’t want to get vaxxed in the first place-their body and personal choice.

They didn’t address the fact he may need to move out of state and very few companies aren’t mandating it. Who’s to say his new company won’t start mandating it. I felt like he had more concerns than they took the time to listen to. Go get another job seems flippant given majority of employers are requiring this. How quick can he find a job where they don’t require it?
