I don't know how she did it!! God bless her for being able to stand at that hard time

I can even imagine how difficult this must have been-but I believe God’s anointing was on her.😢

I can’t imagine the pain and empowerment that came from this memorial. R.I.P. to both iconic figures of our lifetime. Truly heartbreaking milestone in American History. ❤️🌹

I question “the empowerment”, because blk folks seemed to become more lost than ever, and then Kennedy got it soon after too, to set the “other side” straight.

I heard a lot about Christian values from white folks, but I learned about the fundamental Christian value of nonviolence from Martin Luther King. RIP Dr. King. Thanks Aretha.

What a historical and so sad important moment! I admirer the people that can perform on the funerals, especially for MLK and Mahalia Jackson.

You can hear the pain in her voice through the whole song but 3:18 I thought she was gone BREAK! You can tell he was more like an uncle to her then anything else.
