Well one reason will be the coach. Belgium got a miserable coach last time and now they got a nicer one. Whereas, argentina got a good coach last time that's why they were qualified to the finals and now they get a horrible worst coach. He destroys the team's bondage ,tactics for which the argentina team protested for it and were not able to give their best performance. And as a argentina supporter i would like to kill the coach. So the coach matters the most in my opinion.

Jenny Azad I gotta correct you at something. I prefer Martinez over Wilmotts, but without Wilmotts we would’ve NEVER had this golden generation. He pulled us over and made us so good, he made the fundamentals of our great team and he should be respected a lot for that. We reached the WC and EC cause of him, we reached number 1 in the FIFA ranking, held it for half a year and continued to be in the top 3 for years. I’m glad he was our coach, cause because of him our ppl got hope again after a rough decade. Even better yet, after him Martinez was able to improve the team even way more, which resulted in a Belgium that can literally kill any country it wants. (Yes, even France. They’re the champions, but in general Belgium is better). Respect to both coaches!

Their opponents was much easier than Argentina. Argentina faced France and Croatia, both were finalist. Belgium didnt score any against France in fact.
