Hi Mad, thanks for the open review. Running a TT-4 for 3 weeks now I can second your findings and results. A great turntable for the money with only some minor flaws.

Bought the same turntable, in the same finish, a couple of weeks ago. Absolutely love it, and it looks stunning in my living room ☺️ Great review! and I agree with the speed knob being too close to the tone arm, other than that, super happy with the Argon TT-4

1:31 Hifiklubben used to have their headquarters in that same building as Argon Audio and Dali, but it looks like they moved recently (checking google street view will show you it's probably not that long ago, as the sign outside still says Hifiklubben). Also in that building there's another interesting company, AudioNord, which used to own NAD in the 90s. And Lyngdorf of course also founded a new higher end brand, Lyngdorf Audio. He's been quite a busy guy, it would seem. All those brands are still sold at Hifiklubben stores, so while they're technically not actual "house brands", there's obviously still a clear connection between them. Still, they're all reputable brands with quality products, so no complaints about that.

Thanks for this review! There are not so many around on the TT4, but it is one of the options on my list. Maybe buy it with some argon speakers and an amp, but not so sure about that yet.

Thanks for the very detailed review on this one! Was looking at it yesterday in one of HiFi Klubben's stores here in Denmark, and was super tempted. I'm not exactly after an audiophile-grade turntable, so I don't mind a turntable with a built-in RIAA, but I'd still like one that sounds good, looks minimalistic, has some weight to it, and can be considered a "step-up" from my previous record player, and this feels like it fits the bill. I do wonder though: How do you feel about it now, a year later? (That is if you're still using it)
