In this clip, Vlad started off speaking about Blueface being arrested for shooting someone at a strip club in Las Vegas, which led to the owners blasting Blueface on social media. Aries then stated that he wishes Black women would stop wearing bonnets in public, and he added that he wishes Black men would “pull their pants up.” Aries questioned why grown men have their asses out in public, and he added that he wants to physically pull up pants when he’s out. From there, Aries shared a story about seeing Soulja Boy with his pants sagging in the bank.

There’s a black owned business in Houston called Turkey Leg Hut and on weekend mornings there’s always a line out the door. Lots of black oriole in line but not all black. Either way, the black owners sent out a social media message saying you can’t be in their line in skimpy outfits, pajamas, wifebeaters, etc. and specially no “house attire.” Black peoples got real upset about it. They stood their ground.

I'm a 42 yr old black woman. I wear bonnets, head wraps and scarfs. But I have to agree with Aries. Because it's not the bonnet itself, its the raggedy or dirty bonnets or when you look like you just woke up walking through your child's school with your whole pajama set with the robe, slippers and a bonnet. And for some this is a daily look. It's embarrassing. I remember my parent dressing inappropriately coming up to my school. I make a conscious effort to at look like I care about my appearance. This is not for others but to show respect to my child and myself. There's also ways to wear head wraps that don't look tacky. Just saying after a certain age you realize we could and should do better.

@@quanbrooklynkid7776 There's nothing wrong with it. It's actually common in African countries, Haiti, the Caribbean, the middle East and India. Black people in America love conforming to white European standards of dress and etiquette. In alot of countries a woman is considered under dressed if her hair is NOT wrapped.

I haven't sagged my pants since I was 17. And even then it was while wearing loose baggy jeans. It was fashion (or so my peers and I thought) back then. I'm 37 now. Young men these days sag their pants with skateboard skinny jeans. Jeans be so tight that you can literally see their shape.

Same, I was 17 in 1997 and stopped sagging by the time I was 20. I'm now 44 and my own 13 year old daughter pulls my pants up when she catches them sagging. It's only because I wear my belt one hole loose for comfort lol. I'm with everyone else though, the bonnets, pajama pants, house shoes, sagging, 5 foot long lash extensions, and the 3 inch nails, I'm tired of all of it. Our kings and queens can do better but just don't want to, setting our people further and further back for decades to come.
