In this clip, Vlad asked Aries Spears about Jennifer Lopez covering Whitney Houston’s songs. Vlad also spoke about interviewing Rodney Jerkins, who said Whitney Houston is the greatest singer, and Aries stated that he saw J.Lo saying that she and Whitney have the same vocal range. Aries then spoke about Ashanti singing on some of Jennifer Lopez’s songs, including “I’m Real.” He then listed some of the greatest singers of all time, including Aretha Franklin, Patty LaBelle, and Christina Aguilera. Vlad and Aries then debated J.Lo’s acting ability, and Aries disagreed that she’s talented.

I'm not a Stan but Ashanti is part of the chorus. The verses which is considered the lead vocal is jlo. We all can tell when it's JLo (on the verses) and Ashanti (on the chorus).

Of course Whitney's a beast, but I don't understand why Whitney gets the greatest title. Mariah can do things that Whitney can not... whistle notes. on the other hand mariah can do everything whitney can, such as belt, runs, strong chest voice etc.. 90's Mariah is better than Whitney, sorry to tell you. I think it's cause Whitney arrived on the scene first and captured everyone's heart with hit after hit, but Mariah, and Patti are more versatile singers (I personally prefer Chaka as my favorite legendary singer, but Patti and Mariah top them all vocally)

Her voice is like honey and she sounds almost better live then she does in recordings.
