You do not, you simply exchange them for new ones. You have to choose to activate them with their Sacrifice effects to get the effects!

That's something I love about GA! It has both effective aggro/combat focused decks, and really great combo/control decks that are reminiscent of powerful competitive decks from MTG, etc! Lots of variety in gameplay so people can find the style that fits them best!

Hey, great questions. I'll do my best to answer them. 1. Deck building is not as strict/archetypal as in YGO. There are decks that are better or worse than others, of course - and decks that are good/bad matchups. One of the bigger recent events - the invitational NA Nationals - had 7 different decks in the top 8 with variants on aggro, midrange, and control, and at least one deck that was entirely new to the meta at that event (brewed by some of the best players in the game). Even in bad matchups, though, either player can certainly win and there's a huge amount of player skill input in the game. 2. For a new player, the starter decks will get you a playable deck but will need adjustment to keep up with more refined decks. Of the starters, Lorraine (Warrior), Tonoris (Guardian), Rai (Mage), and Diana (Ranger) are the most effective out of the box, and can be made more competitive with the least adjustment. In Set 4, we're getting new deck products called Re:Collection decks that we expect to be more competitive out of the box as well. 3. Not really, so far. Keep in mind we are only 3 sets in right now, but the way it seems to work is that a lot of your general strategy exists within the sets that support the champion you are playing, and only a few cards in each set might be interesting or useful to that strategy. I expect, for example, Lorraine decks to use a lot of the cards she got in Set 1 and 2 for a long time, with Set 3 only adding a few interesting tweak options if you wanted to pursue those or found them useful in a given metagame. But a new warrior that might be introduced in, say, Set 5, might be just as viable, and would probably use a mix of Set 5 cards and the good Warrior cards from Sets 1-2. So a player who really likes a particular champion can probably get away with minimal updates overtime, while a player who likes a general CLASS might find themselves switching things up slightly more often, and players who like a particular ELEMENT or just like all the classes will find new things to play in each set if they want to. 4. The last suggestion I have is just that, if you do give the game a try, keep in mind that it is highly skill intensive, and good players with good decks will perform better right away! It takes a little bit to develop the right set of skills and thinking in GA, and that's coming from someone with 20+ years of TCG experience already. But sticking with it and figuring out how the play lines work will result in more wins, so if it doesn't immediately come naturally to you (it doesn't for most everyone), don't be discouraged and have fun with the journey! At the highest level, the game has insane skill, and is super rewarding when you can start to reach that level. Hope that helps, and have fun!

@@MaindeckGames Thanks for the reply, from what I gathered so far money might be the biggest problem to me, cause I heard there are cards that are used almost in every deck and is very expensive, like dungeon guide or a card that has a picture of ring and lets you draw one.

It can be used on both level 2 and level 3!
