I bought my 1st home at 21 for 87k sold for 197k, 2nd home 170k and sold for 320k, 3rd 300k and sold for 589k and buyers paid all closing costs expenses etc... It is possible and very lucrative as long as all steps and details are followed.

I'm struggling in this market. Stocks that I have held for months and made profits from are not behaving the way I'm used to so I’m quite indecisive on how to tackle this market, any advice would be grateful.

My opinion for young people is you need to be both a dividend investor and a growth investor, basically how i made my first million also i use an FA Olivia Rene Reyes. For example if I just got a 1000% gain on Tesla and then pulled 85% of the money out and went into a load of more stable dividend stocks like CVX So I would say diversify, but also use those growth opportunities to build the capital to invest in the dividend payers (or in cash flowing real estate)

My spouse and I are adding a variety of stocks/ETF to my present holdings for the long term, We've set aside $250k to start following inflation-indexed bonds and stocks of companies with solid cash flows, I believe it is a good time to capitalize on the market for long-term gains, but it wouldn't hurt to know means of actualizing short term profit.

More quarters and outlooks from big tech names, powered by Nvidia (which has more chips than we thought!), as well as this trader FOMO, may lead to renewed buying strength in markets in September and October. I want to invest more than $300k, but I'm not sure on how to mitigate risk

Cathie Wood is big on the concept of bargain hunting. Following Palantir Technologies Inc. (NYSE:PLTR)’s Q2 2023 earnings report, which was in-line with market expectations, Cathie Wood made an investment of approximately $12.5 million, acquiring a total of 741,989 Palantir shares on August 9, 2023. This transaction was split between the ARK Innovation ETF and ARK Next Generation Internet ETF.

She has the Copernicus (1473) Ptolemy (c100 AD) story wrong. They were some 1300 years apart in time. It was the Ptolemaic model of the solar system that Copernicus challenged.

It's really something else to hear someone mention "EBITDA" and then call the stock a value stock. She's really off the walls.

Maybe software margins are much better, but we also have to consider NVDA's dominant position, usually there are several companies competing for software, NVDA is alone. It is the best company and innovates very quickly, it is a company that generates a lot of value for the world.

She has a wealth of great experience and is really an expert in identifying secular trends. The problem is that many of the companies she invests in are not profitable as it’s too early to tell which ones will truly be the winners.

We don’t have electric grids to support charging millions of Cars. I’m hoping to get a electric car, but there is no way to charge so many cars at home in middle of the night when everybody else is charging their car.

Adoption of FSD should be super simple. As the product improves over human drives Tesla can insure these vehicles at lower and lower rates until nobody will want to pay so much more to drive themselves.

I like her. She is probably right about many things. I own Tesla but as a trader and investor I learned years ago as a grain trader that you can be right long term and run out of money short term.

Here is what could have been. As of September 2, 2023, the year-to-date return of the ARKK Innovation ETF is 34.1%. If Cathie Wood did not sell Nvidia stock since investment, the total return of ARKK this year would be 100.8%. Here is the calculation: The current price of Nvidia stock is $485.09. On January 1, 2023, the price of Nvidia stock was $234. If Cathie Wood did not sell Nvidia stock, ARKK would have held 750,000 shares of Nvidia at the beginning of the year. The total value of these shares would be 750,000 * $485.09 = $363,812,500. This is an increase of 159.90% from the value of these shares on January 1, 2023. Therefore, if Cathie Wood did not sell Nvidia stock, the total return of ARKK this year would be 34.1% + 159.90% = 100.8%.

Why not mention that all arks are down to hell last year, nasdaq has recovered most of the losses, shame on her.
