Thanks chap. As always plain speke and objectivity. Watched the other vids so far. I am waiting, you are the first to comment on my pet night hate, fiddly buttons. Add some wet weather and gloves? an older fellas nightmare ( well this one lol ) So Cyanski lamp seems to be my go to still, can't thank you enough for that recommendation last year. Good to see you out and about so soon!

Hi Jon, Same here mate on the little buttons! You have to realise the folks who design these scopes are all young mobile phone addicts, used to fiddling around with small keyboard buttons. That’s also why they seem to add strange colour screens and reticles , because they’ve never gone out in the cold and actually used them ! ERF starter buttons, that’s what they need on scopes 🤣🤣🤣

I've been using those jelly buttons on my Wraith since I bought it last year. I came up with the idea after my fist night out with it. The top buttons are 'dished' and I found them hard to feel and had some of those small buttons handy. Much easier to use after I put those on. I've also put two on my Air Arms TX 200 HC where the cocking lever touches the barrel when locked. The standard little rubber grommet just kept coming out of it place and there are two perfect indents on the lever where the new buttons can go 😊 👍

Feel free, they are much cheaper and work better at a couple of pence each than the proper replacement ones from AA at about four pounds 👍

Hi Dave firstly nice to see you out and about again. As for the scope cant believe hik haven't sorted out the objective focus function its one of their biggest faults i think unless you by the SQ50. Its always difficult to judges nv footage unless you see it yourself and not on youtube. The wide angle is spot on though. Will look forward to seeing some footage with it. And great idea with those sticky little buttons. Im getting some for my Alpex. Take care speak soon young man 😁

Hi Jim , I think I actually got them off Amazon chap. They’re adhesive but I’ve found it better to put a micro blob on the switch and the stick the button on. It’s stays on in normal use, but can be peeled off if need be . This “Can’t be done “answer I seem to hear is boll#$%¥ because others seem to be able to get it sorted. It’s a great little scope, and I’m NOT getting paid anything to make the video or use the scope🫵😉

Nice one, from watching your footage and others, and what I've heard a few say, I think your IR on that one may be not at its tightest beam. I've heard they can have burrs causing the adjustment not to go all the way forward without a good bit of manipulation. Maybe worth a check if you still have it, I think it might be Bruce McPearson who pointed out this quirk, and once sorted was getting very good footage out to 400+ yds. 👍

Thanks Stephen, I still have it on my maverick. I’m testing out a similar setup tonight called a Sytong LRF. I also replied to the message chain on a different video that my gryphon lrf is on guntrader at a very reasonable number of

when changing mag to get a better picture does the poi change or is it like a 1st focal plain sight and poi stays the same

Hello George , I would imagine the poi stays , but on the App, there is the function of changing from FFP. The reticle also changes the increments as you zoom in. To be honest chap, I’ve not shot with this any more than half a dozen times to zero at 20 yrds . So probably not got sufficient miles on the clock to confirm anything. I expect one of the other reviewers will be able to answer more confidently.👍

Hi John, Thanks chap, it’s getting easier each day , but the surgeon confirmed it really only halfway through the full healing time. It’s only been a month since the op , and he was really happy to see that I’d walked up the two flights of stairs to his office on Thursday , and other patients on the same timeline there that day, we’re still using both crutches🤷🏼‍♂️.

@predatorprotectionuk my friend had both hips done a few years ago, he was in a lot of pain, but he said it was well worth it as it has given him a new lease on life. So all I can say is you will be the same. You know it!

Do you think that they will add picture in picture to their updates in the future, I have been using the atn for 3 years now and love it but it is heavy with the abl and a good ir, the one thing that atn don't have is pic in pic and I would like that The size and weight of this one is definitely making think about getting one !

Colin , PiP is already on the scope, it’s in the menu to have if you want it, BUT ! I tried it and found it’s very small window , and high magnification , and there’s no reticle shown , made it worthless . Not really useable chum to be brutally honest . I believe they’re now putting a black reticle on the coming firmware update soon 👍 David

The first sighting of just it’s head was a little over 95 yards, then as it walked from left to right it was 60 yards away. I didn’t take a bean bag with me last night which was why the images were a bit shaky, but once steady it’s a reasonable scope.👍

I don't suppose your going to do a video on how to set it up. I just recieved the Zulus HD 5-20x LRF, but I learn easier following rather than trying to read.
