Even though I’m not the biggest fan of how they treated Deathstroke in this game, I can understand the thematically how it plays into the story: He is a twisted reflection Batman‘s obsessive nature to complete his mission. Like Bruce, Slade throwing highly dangerous and highly expensive weapons towards completing one goal, but the difference is that Batman cares about people while Deathstroke will happily sacrifice 1 million soldiers to defeat the protector of a city he doesn’t even care about. Also you could argue that, even if the boss fight between Batman and Slade is super disappointing, it does show how much Bruce has grown since his origins. Batman admitted to Jason Todd that Slade was the toughest combatant he ever went hand-to-hand with, but now Batman has grown in so many ways: Batman is now focused and precise, rather than the vengeful, angry man he was when they originally fought. On top of that his skills have multiplied exponentially since then. So when Batman faces one of his toughest enemies from the old days, he defeats them in two hits. It is insanely disappointing, and I wouldn’t be surprised if Deathstroke was a last second inclusion, since they just gave him a copy-paste Bossfight, but even if this isn’t how I wanted their fight to go, I can appreciate how much growth it showcases for Batman

Something I really like with Mr Freeze is how we see that he and Bruce both learned from their fight in City. In City Victor assumed that Batman would need to be strong armed into saving Nora for him, while Bruce treated Victor like any other villain, and chose to act instead of trying to convince Victor to give him the cure, leading Victor to attack Bruce, resulting in their fight, which allowed Harley to steal the cure, potentially dooming Bruce. Despite this, despite Bruce, at least from Victor's perspective, having every reason to say f**k you, and leave Nora in Joker's hands, he instead saves her, and tells Victor where to look. When the Militia tries to force Victor to serve them by taking Nora, Victor remembers the whole affair, and so he trusts Bruce to save Nora, and Bruce choses to trust Victor to make the right descision.

While there are great things about it, overall story wise it has always been my least favourite of the four Arkham games.

The more time passes, the more my appreciation for this game grows.

This game has become my comfort game for 9 years now. Though I've always preferred City over it and though I had my problems with some of the plot and some side missions, I recently realized that this is the game that I keep returning to and beating over and over again. It's a masterpiece of game design, I see it as long tech demo with graphics that somehow stand out today with amazing gameplay and wish fulfillment if you're obsessed with Batman as much as I am.

Appreciate the love that this game is getting lately. I think it’s fair to say there was a lot of disappointment when it did come out, due to issues at launch among other things, but I always enjoyed it.

I played all 4 akrham games this year have to say i never knew these games were so good everything just works and blends well together. People say arkham knight is the worse but i dont agree content wise it had a lot and missions and side stuff were great and better imo. They ended the game misteriously they could have made one of the best combacks in 2024 but then we get a game that is just not even similar to the games we loved and literaly dosnt even follow the source material from the arkham games yet they say it is in the same universse im really sad about it. I like to think that at the end of the game where scarecrow injects the fear toxin into an essentially jokerified Bruce is what saved him. His fears took over him before but the second injection brought out jokers fears which gave Bruce the chance to comeback and lock joker away in his mind for good. I might be looking too deeply into that but it is something that I noticed and would like to be true.

I feel it would’ve been a lot stronger withPaul Dini back as the writer. It was OK as a good ending though big missed opportunity to not have a Zazz mission scares me to think he still loose in Gotham.

I would've rather they focus on the villains and their alliance than all the Joker/Jason nonsense. The game especially wasted Two-Face, Penguin, and Man-Bat. It always felt like the Arkhamverse writers didn't care about any of the villains but Joker and Harley.

I'm kinda dissapointed of The Arkham Knight reveal. I hate how it's actually Jason Todd all along. It would be better if he is Thomas Elliot / Hush because he's been transforming himself to be Bruce Wayne and also has been learning his mannerism and attitude for months. Yeah, he's not a fighter, so do neither Joker, Penguin and Two Face. But, they are so rich, they can hire henchmen or assasins to kill Batman. I mean, every Joker fight in every Arkham games are always anti climatic and yeah, even his boss fight in Asylum is so lame as he keeps throwing henchmen despite already being a Titan! It would be interesting that Hush who's using Bruce Wayne face claimed himself to be the Arkham Knight so people will hate Bruce Wayne more and it complicates Bruce while Bruce is also still struggling with Joker toxin. So, Bruce will fighting with 2 dillemas, fight with someone who stole his identity and also on Joker toxin. I also don't mind Scarecrow, let him doing his plan. And then, when Batman unmask himself, people will confuse to see 2 Bruce Waynes on the spot and realize that Arkham Knight/ Hush is a faker and Scarecrow will lose his mind. Then, the ending is with 2 Bruce Waynes fighting each other to determine which one is real and Hush is getting his face broken and then he got arrested and Batman/Bruce Wayne fake his death and leave the Gotham for good with Alfred just like the ending.

Batman: Arkham Knight is a beautiful send off to Kevin Conroy and Arkham Batman. It's a billion times better than Flop Squad: Kill the Arkhamverse.

3:30 this is something that is often forgotten about Batman in recent years with iterations like Ben Affleck where he’s practically the punisher and it’s that Batman isn’t just a symbol of fear and vengeance but a symbol of hope for the people of Gotham. He delivers hope that he can save people from the fate he had as a kid. The main villains will be mad hatter, insomnia, and Jane doe who plot to take over new Gotham and make it a new type of anarchy and the side missions should be: the ventriloquist and his mafia and Batman has to fight his goons and track down his location by going to his bases and then a boss fight, Mr zsaz and him going around and killing people and after 8 dead bodies Batman tracks his location and fights him, and one where bronze tiger challenges Batman to find him and beat him and Batman has to fight bronze tiger five times and each time it gets more difficult, and one where ratcatcher has vowed to kill penguin and his goons and you have to go around in the sewers and alleys and find where the rats are going and where they lead to. All the side missions should include robin. Then with the setting it’ll be gothim during the day and night and will take place during 2 days and Gotham has expanded to 5 new islands Wayne island (a island that the Wayne’s funded and the rich lived and is overrun with organized crime), slade island (a island that is the main shopping area and where tourists go to and explore the most and with many building such as Wayne tech, lexcorp, and sionis industries.) , bleake island (the main governmental area with GCPD, central hall, mayors office, and the firehouse), Gotham island (where the founder of Gotham started the city and that is where many villains keep hideouts at), and founders island )which is being built and is mostly a construction area, but does have streets and homes). With the main story when the mad hatter, insomnia, and Jane doe break free from iron heights they plan to make Gotham a place of anarky and Batman goes to stop them and he tracks mad hatter down to his base but mad hatter leaves and releases tweedledee and tweedledum and Batman has to do a boss fight with them and then finds papers that show that onamonapia has allied himself with mad hatter and Batman goes to fight him. Figure out the rest and make changes!

This is definitely the most 'Arkham" game in the series. It has all the best traits and some of the worst, so it'll always be my favorite lil mess!

The ending was good but most of the earlier story and game was just filler with useless side missions and a pointless antagonist in scarecrow. Also the jason todd under the red hood rip off was uninspired. It was like they had a good ending idea and couldnt work backwards to make the rest of the story interesting

You've all just been so starved for new Arkham gamed that you convinced yourself that Arkham Batmobile is good. Arkham Batmobile was such a disapointment. The Arkham series deserved more than what we got with this game. It's only redeeming qualities are the gameplay, graphics, and voice acting.
