Ayyo, those birds on Ch'en's boat are cormorants, and that lantern in the boat there is to attract fish. She's out Cormorant fishing (or at least her homies are), which is a real practice in china where you use that kinda of bird to fish. It's a little messed up seeming because they tie a string around the bird's throat to keep it from swallowing larger fish (still loose enough for them to swallow fish to small to be worth keeping, and for them to breath of course) but a thing to keep in mind is that they're wild birds that willingly come to the fisherman after they've been trained, because they realize theyre more succesful when working with humans. Much like bees, if it was actually cruel, they could literally just leave. She's smiling because she's out fishin. She totally has a "wishin I was fishin" hat the LGD made her stop wearing on duty Anyways, I'm definitely getting the Kal'tsit Skin, the specter skin, and if I can squeeze it in the Heavyrain skin currently in the shop because I'm pretty sure it will still be live then. I might not be able to scrape together enough OP for it though, which is a shame

As someone over 30, that thing in Kal's outfit is a portable hamock. You put the 2 sticks into the ground, pull the hamock until tense enough and you lay there when you get tired, it's an old person thing. Also pretty sure halo she has in the image is the Civilight Eterna, the IS relic that boosts all ops true dmg by 150%

I think the scissor thing in kal'tsit's skin is something like an anti-originium thing considering the other guys in the background have something like it on their person as well

Lumen skin is my absolute favorite and the only one I actually care about and will be getting!

Well, I pretty much said to myself "two" or likely "too" many. The only sure ones for me is Specter Alter and Kal'tsit On Kal'tsit skin, those floating/wired devices remind me of Air Gear. The AirTreks or technically their advance rollerblades which have various functions and gives the chosen unnatural powers. The weird thing is some of them defy the logic of being roller blades and more of advanced weapons.

Kal'tsit definitely and the outfits that I buy even though I don't have operators to wear them - this time it will be Specter alter and Chalter I like both Flint outfits, these arts are quite pleasant to eyes (for me it was must have, though I might have bought it on its 1st rerun if I'm not mistaken, original one already looks good and there was other stuff to spend on)

For me, any skin that has nothing to do with battle or doesn't look tactical is a skip. It's just immersion breaking for me to see an operator in a wedding dress or in a pajama while on deployment. Chen alter, Specter alter, Kalt'sit-yes, everything else, nah. EDIT: What did they do for Ebenholz in that new skin? Literally same theme as original skin.
