I feel like if you think Typhon is too complicated to use her, you will feel Ray worse. I feel like I can pass her since I got Pozy, which is a great boss killer already. Plus I am really low on pulls. 😅 Good luck to everyone else.

Honestly, I did have enough pulls since I mainly pull on limited banners nowadays and besides her, only degenbrecher is high on my priority list Sadly I will not pull on the other banners just in case, but generally I don't lack anything from new units (besides limited banners) Jessica is gimicky and fun, but got Horn which is even better for me Hoederer is nice but I've got nearl already Ray is cute but I have Schwarz, Pozy AND Typhon now, I don't think I should pull on that And then there's joint banners with Mlynar which would be good but nothing I should waste on, or the new year banners which are good but since I'll spend about 60 pulls on degen (and the ones used for typhon) I should just save my stuff for Virtuosa, Viviana, Shu and Zuo Le Still, really appreciate some in-depth look into operators, keep up the good work and hope to see more!

I'm Split between Typhon and Ray. Ray seems to have a lot things going on for her, bind, expanded range, faster attacks that hit like a truck too.

I figure she might be interesting to pair with Dorothy (who's more crowd-control), but the way she works... Her kit is simple so there are a lot of open possibilities. It's missing a few opportunities to look at her working alone.

Im confused between sticking to pozy & saving up pulls or pulling for either ray or typhon😢 1. Pozy= her+typew damage is around 130k per skill activation. highest ST damage with her typewriter, but vs high def she fall off hard. Her typewriter is basically fast redeploy schwarz, which give her option for either global map presence or high ST burst. Pozy herself also has damage similar to ray but coupled with her typewriter her ST damage doubled. Her skill cycle is kinda average tho (35 sp + 30s duration) 2. Typhon= dmg around 110k per skill activation. numbers alone, her damage is a little bit inferior to pozy+ type. But she herself can ignore 60% def. she also has good afk skill & s3 also has mini stun for cc-ing bosses. Her slow aspd mean slower skill cycle tho & also s3's damage can be spread. Long skill cycle (40 sp+ 5.5 atk interval x10 ammo) mean less skill activation meaning less burst opportunity BUT her per skill activation can burst 2 phase of bossess like patriot so thats something to consider 3. Ray= dmg around 60-70k per skill activation, depend on whether she use her capybara or not. damage-wise, she is inferior to both poz or typhon. Her summon also has 30s cd & ammo mechanic also hurt her damage real bad. Despite that, Her cc is good for binding enemies for entire s3 duration & not many boss has bind immunity. Also her s3's cycle is fast (30sp + 16s duration) , meaning when pozy & typhon activated their skill once, ray's s3 would be on her 2nd activation. Faster skill cycle= faster skill activation & skill ending= more opportunity to burst (since more skill activation) My biggest question is, WHICH of them is more useful for advanced content like cc max risk, TfN or difficulty 15 IS ? Any opinion accepted

My thought of Typhon she's really great honestly all of the content creator have the same point indeed she deals huge damage but her atk. is slow. It's a bit sad that she didn't get L2D skin which would convince me more to pull her. I really like her S2 just as much I like to use Thorns S3. While her skill 3 looks promising there are still underlying problem. Ray has the similar scenario as her which have S2 Infinite skill and Skill 3 being at Boss Killing. My mind is filled with doubt for the reason I really want to get her but I already have build Ch'en Alter and Pozy for that matter. Virtuosa is less convincing for me but I like her S2. While Degenbrecher give me Texas Alter Vibe and also giving me doubt's of E2 my Ch'en.

Honestly at this point I'm no longer sure if I should pull for Typhon, I've only heard good things about her but idk anymore. She simply seems boring to me, just another big funny number unit, and with the fact I already Texalter, Yalter, Mlynar and Surtr I think I might just skip. The only reason I would get her would be her S2 because I don't have a unit with infinite duration yet.

I already got all the materials to m6 her, her module and get her to lv 90. As a newbie who play for just barely 2 months, Typhon ist not just an operator but rather sth i adore. I love her personality and her skills afterall. She is undeniably super strong unit abd can handle boss very well. Pare with Pozëmka would be perfect, dont you think so? It's interesting that your hesitant to recommend her and you didn't even mention her biggest weakness IMO. She has a unique quirk that I think most players and content creators sort of missed or glossed over but I think it was fully intentionally designed that way to balance her. She's 1 of the only single target DPS who does worse in AOE situations. Like normally ST DPS would do the same damage as long as they have a target and if there are extra targets that's fine they'll still do the same damage but the way her skills are designed she actually performs worse if there are additional targets in her range. Her S2 sustained DPS goes way down if she's constantly fighting multiple targets. Though little caveat to that, if they are going to die to the 1st hit it does get saved due to her talent but in all other scenarios it does more damage if both arrows hit the same target. Not only does the damage go down though it straight up plummets to like launch tier dps, aka the bar that existed before Blaze was released. It's worse than Rosa's basic auto attack DPS w/o skills. I came back and edited this because I did want to point out really quickly that what some people might be picturing as multiple targets is probably not what I'm referring to for Typhon. What I mean by this is that if you have 2 targets walking towards her even if they're practically on top of each other she is going to target 1 of them and fire both shots before the other gets in range. Assuming she kills the 1st one in 2 or even 3 hits then even 2 enemies who are on top of each other still qualifies as single target. For her S3 having multiple targets in range can cause a lot of her shots to miss the boss or elite that you're trying to kill and also have a lot of them do wasted overkill damage to minions. It's RNG so it's not necessarily going to screw it up but it could result in the boss surviving where if the other targets hadn't been there she would've killed the boss. That being said, I personally think she's a pretty safe recommendation. To your point she is strong in IS 4 and SSS and can be used quite effectively against various bosses even if maybe not the single most optimal. She also synergizes very well with buffers like Warfarin or Aak and her ability to target through stairs or phase changes is unique enough that she is a good niche boss killer in the worst case scenario. Though I do think that most of the community has over hyped her and doesn't fully understand her strengths and weaknesses. So it is good to see some much needed perspective and I thank you for that.
