Damn, these last few catch ups feel like everybody's got the same story. Everyone is taking care of grandmas, aunts, siblings, and moms. Which i feel is endearing, but speaks to a greater issue in the community. One person carrying the financial and mental burden of carrying their whole family to where theres not enough time for self. Thats alot

It is a lot honestly & im only 30 yrs old it’s not something I asked for but I can’t see me just letting my family fall to the waist side and im living the life you know ? But at the same time most people don’t even be cool with me doing that because my time is very split between the two . So sometimes im not always available. & I be tired . I’m working on changing things for myself but it’s a process . Things don’t happen fast .

It might be time to let your adult siblings start fending for self. As for you, being hard working is a very attractive trait. Perhaps what you're going through now is how you'll find the relationship that you need.

It's the blaq experience. A lot of us have to support our elderly parents or grandparents because they came up in a time of severe discrimination and weren't able to secure as much retirement benefits. That puts a bit of a drain on us, preventing us from securing our own retirement as much as we could. And the cycle continues.

@@TheOfficialReia I'm definitely praying for you Reia. I can definitely relate. I had to move back to Detroit from Chicago in my mid 20s to take care of my grandmother who's health began to decline. I had to pretty much sacrifice everything I began to build for myself, but I felt I owed it to her for helping to raise me with my mom. Same thing happened last year b4 my mom passed away. Became her full time caregiver. But it's very important that you find time for yourself. You can't get these years back. You deserve happiness that you created for yourself, and to live a carefree life. You deserve freedom to date, travel, love, and BE loved. Hell, you deserve to sit around and do NOTHING if you feel like it. I pray the help options open. I'm rooting for you, and manifesting a major change in your life that sees your family well supported, while offering you freedom.

I caught her DM’s is popping in Instagram my instagram is popping, A girl said that on a Steve Harvey show, This girl was in a relationship with this guy she said when she had Covid-19 he would bring her things to make her feel, Steve Harvey asked her about the relationship between her and the guy that’s a lawyer, She basically said if he messes up things guys are always in her DM’s if a woman mentions still.
