Regardless, I do believe that people attacking Todd is literally unfounded and not cool. The guy has so much hate around him it's astounding. He is actually pretty down to earth. Does he have an ego, yes. Devon has one too. It's competitive when it's two guys sparring. Hard for it to not be competitive when it's your rival. I am a fan of larrat but I also love Todd too. I am such a fan of the sport that I find myself cheering for athletes like Ian and Matt at times too. I wish other people wouldn't take sparring so seriously so that these athletes could just let go at times too.

Ask any pro or even amature armwrestler how people react when they are told that a person competes. There are always a group of guys that think they can easily beat them. I think it was wise he not continue. His arm was blown from a workout, but no one pays attention to that sort of thing. So if he kept going he would've just looked weaker than he actually is. He gained SO MUCH popularity from this match, his youtube channel doubled in like 2 weeks

You can argue having trained that day is a disadvantage but its possible to argue the exact opposite. Devon being "fresh" likely means the risk of injury without a warmup or workout is pretty good for him too. Mostly his attitude about saying no made me lose some respect. He could've just said "no thank you good match" but not everyone is like me. I'm glad for his success with his channel I still wish him well
