The friendship needs to be disciplined. Radio Chat same. In fact Disciplinary level was one of the Key factor as to why the mission went to shit. It's a simulation and the video is made to entertain. That needs work, the understanding must be that your acting. Media entertainment. It should be understood and respected way in advance. Part of preparation. As Army would state, "attention to detail" is always needed. Now speaking from a Military Experience Background, One - The mission needed a Recon. Two - Callsign, example - Separate the Squad into Fire Teams - Seals 1 and 2..If 4 man team - 1, 1.2 , 1.3, 1.4 and 2, 2.1, 2.3, 2.4. Three - Swimming into a beach to engage a mission which was affected by high level rocks, shitty situation. Intelligence was poor. Four - I noticed on map check, not to far away was Enemy Armoured support, that would have ripped the backs off of every man that was sitting on the edge of the island if the Enemy Armour would have made it to the edge of other island from the rear across the water (Realistic, it would of) . Potential Patrol in same location could have lead to same outcome. So best point of entry would have been from the rear of island, backs facing the ocean. However, good effort. Always Remember, simulation simulates real life situation. The higher rated Media production is of those whom can give off that type of affect in creation. I love Arma3 but the bullet damage is pathetic you need so much bullets to kill a person , if they wear vests with 5.56 you need 5 and with supressors 8 hits I mean WTF 8 hits with a 5.56! and 9mm needs 8 and 12 when suppressed. I love the game but the damage is very bad. In arma 2 a AKM 7.62mm would kill sometimes instantly and with 2 hits for sure in chest

This was awesome, up until the fighting, which shows the problems with the ARMA 3 Beta. 15 SD rounds should be lethal, but the AI disagree. I'm sure this experience would be 2x better once ARMA 3 is released officially, and 10x better once the ACE developers develop the ACE mod for the game.

If arma 3 really simulates ballistics, then a modern suppressor has absolutely no detrimental effect on the projectiles behavior(I'm a real life gun smith), the fact you're all using CZ Scorpion SMG's against guys with plate carriers is likely the problem. Plate carriers, even ceramic(in fact, particularly ceramic) are designed to stop pistol rounds, which is exactly what your guns are shooting. In reality the seals would've used HK416's, suppressed, probably SBR's rather than full length. They'd have also used that little submarine thingy they have instead of tiring themselves out by swimming to insertion. Major fail.

That AI + low calibre weapons = Brutal. Good job regardless, hopefully they improve the hit boxes with the ARMA 3 model.

I like your execution of the mission. The only thing I would have changed was upon hitting the island I would have broken my squad up into two 4 man fire teams. Alpha would go left and Bravo would go right. This way whichever get contact first, the other can flank. But well done guys. Be looking out for my application in the coming weeks.

The theme from the movie "The Rock" was going through my head when watching this.

Loved it. Would have liked the troop to be even more disciplined, maintain radio silence when talk unneccesarfy, follow the leaders orders faster, gather in neat formation before the chopper gets there, so you look cool for the pilot (in the eyes of the audience ofc) etc. But loved the tactical unit feel, youve got yourself another new subscriber.

i like the fact the leader says quietly but when they spot the first enemy they all start shooting , he even throws a grenade

The scale of the game determines the fidelity of the graphics. Considering how mindbogglingly huge the main game will be, the graphics are stunning :).

No, it was not a zeroing problem when he died, he was basically shooting at the ground but had the sight on an enemy, the barrel was facing towards the ground.

I have a Medium Transport Pack like the one the SCUBA group was using. It sucks, doesn't have correctly spaces PALS webbing, so you can't actually attach pouches in a way that makes not flop around.

Pretty sure it was the 9mm SMG you were using that was causing the issue, not the suppressor on it. Smallest weapon I'll ever use is the MXC, anything else and you won't do much to armor. Nice to see I'm not the only one who gets absolutely wrecked during SCUBA missions though :p

I got a friend in a SEAL Team and he told me "We go out there without any support, no backup and we strike fast. We don`t use suppressors all the time.", the gear that they use in most of the operations is M4A1 with 553 Holosight, flashlight and hand grip,of course standard P226 kind of Act of Valor movie (they asked real SEALs about gear and rest of the stuff) so look at the movie and get that gear from armaholic it will make SEALs missions in Arma 3 better. Good luck :)))).
