We decide to setup a checkpoint to possibly intercept some criminals but it just turns into one stressful clusterfuck...

I recommend a video done over basic laws and what is/isn't acceptable in the mod, it could even be listen in the official rules so to clear up all the bitching.

I don't know what they're all whining about, you say pull forward they refused, or trying to dodge a checkpoint. Even in real life if the police are busy dealing with other people they can detain them for a while while still being legal. Some people just don't understand

All i saw was a lack of respect for law enforcement. It seems the players are not used to an active police force and have gotten used to getting away with anything. They all act like children when you take away their candy then these idiots started crying like said children when they realize there are rules to follow. You guys keep up the good work and let the players no there's some new sheriffs in town. It may be necessary to set up a spotter over the checkpoint to keep an eye out for bandits.

DzuariHD We would need more to check the crates but yeah it was pretty clear cut only thing is he wasn't official charged until after the checkpoint. That guy actually got banned for this event and a few other things he did wrong. Can't just shoot at cops...Fail RP

Man, good police work devil. I play on the server and honestly I find being a criminal boring as, me and my freind did opium despite it being broken just to do some criminal role play without killing cops. I mean seriously in real life if you were robbing someone or you were doing weed would you reeeally shoot a cop? I can't wait until some of the more criminal professions are implemented and fixed maybe then i'll get some decent roleplay out of it without sticking up salt miners.

I also don't know the rules but I have to wonder how that is actually supposed to stick. Noone actually saw the shooter or where he was at. Even after breaking and entering because "there's clothes on the floor!" "someone detain those clothes!" I would still think you would have to PROVE that the guy actually has a gun first. And the prove WHEN the window pane was broken which would be kinda hard to do. The rest is reasonable cause and suspicion. "Yup broken glass this is our guy". Not sayin it can't be done but that dude had to be bookin it to take a few pop shots from that top floor. Store the gun, run downstairs, turn and close the door, then make it to garage and spawn his car.

Police officers where shot at and they keep hearing safety clicks, and the house was in line of sight from the shooting, that's enough. They could have also circled the house and found the broken window.

TheDevildogGamer is right. Checkpoints are legal and turning away from them (not trying to run them) is suspicious enough to justify being pulled over. Listening to those guys whine when they were wrong was awful. But would it have been that difficult to explain why they were being detained to shut them up?

MrWatchesUsleep they didn't accept their answer when they did tell them why they were detained. They were too busy complaining and thinking they are immune to police direction and requests. Try pulling the crap they did with a real officer and see how far it gets you.
