Quark was a huge part of the show, no doubt.

Quark was one of the Characters that was the glue that kept the DS9 show interesting. Quark was a business man, a con artist, and always stayed in trouble with Odo. A great actor. Armin Shimerman.

Yes, 100% agree the DS9 cast was by far the most talented cast of all the start treks, regulars and especially recurring

Quark and Garak were my two favorites characters out of all of the Star trek shows. Most Star trek characters were either good or evil with no in between. Good examples of this would be Kirk ( good ) and Khan ( bad ) and But Garak And Quark were both capable of being both. Quark could be your best friend but if he saw a way to make latnum by betraying you he would do it. As long as it didn't get you killed that is. And Garak also had his own motivations for everything he did. And they rarely had anything to do with Federation "morality" like he fooled everyone on DS9 into thinking.

I remember Armin as a golf caddy in a Seinfeld episode, where he was advising Kramer on legal matters and everything else too.

Absolutely most talented cast. Also, DS9 took real risks in story telling and in Trek

Most people know Armin from Star Trek and Buffy The Vampire Slayer, but to me he will by the zealous business tycoon and Objectivist, Andrew Ryan.

That last part resonates with me so much. It really is about hope. A couple of years ago I felt really tired of all the distopian sci-fi so I started my mission to watch all the Star Trek series' from TOS onward and it's been so great. Now in 2020 with all this craziness going on I've just happened to reach DS9 and this show in particular with a black make lead, and a single father at that, with no racism involved, is in itself a hopeful thing to see. I love Quark so much too. Just watched the ep where he saves a Klingon house, lol, so good.

Happy Birthday Armin Shimerman. UR amazing legend. I love The Grim Adventures Of Billy & Mandy, Billy & Mandy's Big Boogey Adventure, Wrath of the Spider Queen and Ben 10. Great shows. And Mass Effect 1, 2, 3 and Legendary Edition. Mass Effect is the koolest alien games ever, totally badass. With respect: UR great Armin. May the Peace be with u General Skarr, Salarian Councilor Valern. From Harlingen Texas. November 5, 1949

A charming and humble man, one of the main reasons why DS-9 was so full of life and a lead actor in two of my favourite episodes of all time. The episodes that made me love the Ferengi for all time ''The Magnificent Ferengi'' and ''Little Green Men''
