It’s weird! I know he’s great artist and have a lot of fans but on his Instagram there wasn’t so much comments and love towards him! But now it’s filled with love from everyone! Why do we wait for someone to die to appreciate him! Why don’t we show love and really appreciate someone when he’s still with us! God bless your beautiful soul Tim 😔💔

Well said. Like I got really annoyed when it became "cool" for these douchebag self-described "experts"--who have likely listened to EDM for a total of 3 months and pretend they're "genuine fans" because they heard of Addagio for Strings once--to start hating on Avicii for "Levels" just because it became so popular, and now those same f*ckwad "expert fans" claim they believe he's a legend and the best of all time or whatever. They're pieces of trash not worth anyone's attention, most of all the DJs they hate on.

I remember discovering him in 2011. In high school, we were so in love with this guy's music! To us, he easily surpassed most of the people making House music at the time. I even remember voting for him for #1 in DJMaG multiple times. So so sad that he passed, especially so damn young, he's only a few years older than me. RIP piano man

I'm so saddened to think this lovely soul was exploited when he needed proper time to recover and re-evaluate his life. This was such a lovely tribute to hear. What I love about Avicci is he could've easily become arrogant and conceited. Whenever I've heard him speak, he always comes across as incredibly genuine, warm and down to earth. What a terrible loss 💜

As always, Armin has so much class! I love Armin myself and truly enjoyed Avicii every time I heard him! This is truly devastating news. And as far as what Armin said about having a hard time dealing with the criticism, all I can say is that there are VERY MISERABLE people out there, those who criticize HAVE NO idea how to be real human beings like Armin, Avicci or any of these professional, wonderful DJ’s we get to really ENJOY these days. If you put ONE of the critics to do what Armin does or any of them do, I BET YOU A TRILLION DOLLARS they would have NO IDEA, ZERO IDEA what to do in front of all that equipment they have to use. Those who criticize are so short of mind, they are so poor of heart and have had nothing but a very miserable life themselves! I hope that if there are DJ’s OR ANY OTHER PROFESSIONALS that have to deal with “hater’s’” criticism, that they read this, put all those negative words aside and ignore them!!!! Once you ignore, you feel great and they lose because that’s what they are, BIG HUGE LOSERS who have absolutely nothing from anyone. To ALL these wonderful DJ’s we have these days: You guys are awesome, you guys are great, you guys are PERFECTLY PERFECT and you guys bring happiness to our lives! That’s what counts in life: ALL THE HAPPINESS AND LOVE you bring to me and the world!

The way he chooses his language to carefully make himself sound more important. He always says "he was really great" "he was a legend" he never says how he was more advanced than the rest, how he was a genius, how he was a modern day composer of EDM. He spent a good amount of time SPECULATING about someone he even admits he PRETTY MUCH DIDN'T KNOW PERSONALLY. But then later tries to makes them sound like friends, like he ISNT doing anything more than speculating about a dead man's life. He didnt know shit about Avicii and personally it's insulting to emphasize how "insecure he was with his laptop out right before a show" when in reality he was using every last second to make his show as great as possible. While Armin is sipping champagne (and shaming Avicii for drinking before a set) AVICII WAS STILL WORKING. He should show some fucking respect instead of looking for one more opportunity to emphasize how great Armin is. Imho he even subtly was calling himself better, with his comparisons. Armin seriously looked insecure as fuck in this interview, someone who is secure in their career will give all glory to Avicii WHEN THEY ARE INTERVIEWING YOU ABOUT HIM, NOT YOURSELF!!

I was impressed with the teens at these functions..well dressed, well mannered...always wanted to let the other parents know...techno is my choice, even at my age and this news of Avicii's death has really been a sad experience. I have spent countless $'s dl all this music...and 1 thing on my bucket list was to see Avicii!. I vacation each yr in Vegas and have always wanted to visit the techno venues....lol I would def be in the 5% category of "WOW at your age you like techno?"....Yes I do....love the beat, love the DJS..a very talented genre.....SOOOOOO sad for this news. Lets get something out there first. Avicii was more talented than any other DJ I have ever heard. If your style of house becomes the defacto standard, that's no accident. He couldve just kept pumping out repetitive hits but in the midst of his success he completely changed his style more than once. That is very risky and takes guts. i would say you need some serious artistic curiosity to do something like that. He had the kind of ear for music most don't and his style, production and the company he kept reflected that. He clearly had no relationship with Armin. Armin is all business and business only. Now about the drinking and his death. I cant think one talent but sensible artist lived in our life time. Art is always emotionally driven which means the people who excel at it at are emotional to the core. The fact that kept changing his tacks till last seconds could very easily be attributed to the fact that to Avicii most important this was authenticity and being orignal. SO if anyone already played the same track he was going to, I'd imagine he would change the track. For the sake of the argument, even if was insecure about his track selection, insecure Avicii is 10 times better than confident Aoki or Armin or Tiesto, Laidback luke. His drinking habits can be caused by a multitude of reasons. Maybe he expected more from himself and has fallen below his expectations, that alone can cause heavy drinking. It may run in the family who the F**k knows. lastly, Avicii defined the genre and he was the most popular artist in EDM. I am completely out of EDM scene for a while now but i still download his podcast from time to time. Now listening to all those very tracks that made me so happy over the years makes me unconditionally SAD. RIP AVICII. EDM GOAT.

I agree with your sentiments about Avicii being a talented DJ. There is no question about that however, whether he is the best in the world is subjective to anyone listening to his music. Irrespective of what you think about Armin or other DJ's (unless you know Avicii on a personal level and not just through his music), then I think it is a little bias to make judgements on their friendship when you clearly don't know either artist. Armin may have kept things on a business level with Avicii, but that doesn't mean he has no respect for the man. He obviously must have some respect for Avicii otherwise he wouldn't be calling to express his condolences to Avicii's family. Armin even said that the last time they saw each other, Avicii had his management team surrounding him and Avicii had even changed his number so Armin could not contact him anymore (which he mentions this during the phone interview). Obviously Armin had no issues with Avicii.

@@freddiejones4598 he started out as a producer and then technically became a DJ as well. As far as the top 50 DJs go, all of them are producers, your grandma can sync and smash two tracks together be sure of the equipment nowdays. When we talk about any international dj, we are always talking about the producer, the art of DJing is dead because if technology.

Avicii in late 2015 suffered mild criticism from fans who thought his new sound was dull. I don't think it is but that could be one of the reasons he retired from touring. And here you can hear Armin talking about his own critics and how hard it was to deal for him. With Avicii's situation in that time going in and out of hospitals and suffering from depression, that could take a toll not just for a music produce but for a person in general. You can only take too much before breaking down. Me, someone who has also battled with depression in the past, took criticism very hard. Even if the words wasn't there I feel like the stare of the people around me was condemning in itself. You feel secluded. Isolated. For me friends was a big help but the total relief from agony was within me, finding what I really want and focusing my heart on it. If only he had more time for himself, if only he wasn't so busy. Finding out his deepest desires and dedicating his time to meditate and having solidarity, maybe, just maybe, we'd be waiting for another masterpiece from the musical genius.

Plenty of DJs in the industry were friends of his. But I'm not sure how you think this all works....these are traveling and touring DJs. It's not like it's one giant friend group where everyone is best friends and hangs out all the time. DJing and music is the business. It's nice to meet friendly people and other DJs who have a similar passion, but you still have your personal life where your best and most important friends are. I think there's this weird fantasy people have where they see pictures of DJs hanging out on social media and they think that it's like a bunch of best friends hanging out all the time....
@PONYBOYonline
@PONYBOYonline 6 жыл бұрын
If that's really what you interpreted, then I feel sorry for your lack of comprehension skills....the point is that it is literally very hard for these DJs to form meaningful and deep relationships. The best and most important friends of the DJs aren't other DJs.....they have more important lives outside of work just like everyone else.

They say there is no criminal suspicion in Tim's death but it can well be a planned homicide like he went on a perfect getaway and it gone completely wrong. Someone could also have murdered him and took the broken glass and people confuse and think its a suicide. It can be a big misconception about his true death that nobody will ever know.

How can this be a shock logically. where is the common sense. Some one that sick should be extremely vigilant and watched constantly by health practitioners. I am surprised nurses did not travel with him. You guys all around him are guilty to some extent!

Avicii had his first breakthrough in ASOT and went from there to go on becoming mainstream. Most artists who go mainstream doesn't show up as often as they used to on ASOT and I think this is because Armin wants new talents to get a chance to "shine"/ "breakthrough" but also because when you go mainstream you are maybe focusing on making music to bring in as much money as possible? Not sure since I never been big at all with my music but creating unique music that is years ahead of the time when it was produced is very risky since 50% of the human population is on the "normal" spectrum of intelligence while 25% is above and 25% is below, so making a masterpiece is many times something that is recognised several years after its debut and this is not only a thing in music, obviously. I know a lot of older movies getting an insane amount of recognition they didn't get when they were released because people today maybe understand them better? Anyway, I'm rambling lol. On to Avicii, I think the reason he might have killed himself is because of the people pressuring him to stop drinking, maybe he did drugs as well I don't know but as an addict myself I know for a fact when people "complain" about your abuse of any substance and you use that substance your mind will go back and forth between the taught of those who all the time are nagging you about your addiction and the use of the substance in itself as well. So maybe, just maybe he felt he let everyone down by taking up the bottle again and couldn't live with it. The withdrawal from any long term use of any substance can make people do things they would never ever do otherwise, no matter how depressed so it wouldnt surprise me at all if this had something to do with his decision to kill himself. So in short, the ones who wanted to help him might been the ones who actually made him kill himself.

Come on Armin. How many of his lot and lots of great tracks that you mention have you played other than thr remix he did for your drowning anthem? No one of this guys played Tim's banger. You know why? Because on lots of interviews he complained about all EDM sounding them the same.

Armin, please take a bit of time out and spend it with your kids. I know you're not an addict with health issues, but how often do you see your family? Was it really necessary to go off to F1 China? Take this chance to reevaluate. I'm sure your kids want to know you not just see the guy on youtube who always has his hands up.

MistieBlue right!! And that is to see in the docu. His management did not listen to him they said to him do you know how much money you will miss? Tim was set up and said now I get stress again puts his head down and gets anxiety attack. And so on would not cancel a concert doctors gave him 10 pills etc...

Lin da Hi! You ‘re absolutely right! Money was their first goal not him! Agree with you also abt his family; what a real sadness. That is a case to bring on Court.And when I listen the video here it seems really weird to be there at that place specially like someone know as he won’t make it. Sure there is something as no one want to talk actually abt the people around him. That is what we call to be under abusive order Just saying👀

MistieBlue right! We need answers, many questions. Also about the docu, the time of the docu (1,5 Months ago on Netflix) and the motive of the docu. Why did this happen after it was released. His album coming up with Universal Music Sweden, he was positive they said the last days. I have my thoughts. Poor Tim.

You must be too young to remember how massive of an influence Robert Miles was back in the mid-90s. He pretty much invented the melodic uplifting Trance sound, and inspired countless DJs, producers and composers all around the world. Sure Avicii was huge part of modern EDM, but he didn't have as many hits as Robert Miles did. It's sad Avicii passed away, but saying it's saddest day dance music ever had is a bit of a stretch. Hell, Armin van Buuren has had much bigger influence than Avicii! It's ironic really.

Simply Magical Not really, Avicii has affected more than just EDM, he’s literally changed music as a whole and changed people’s perspectives on what Dance (and all music in general) was or could be, sure Miles had a huge affect on people at the time in Dance music but Avicii has truly spanned across all genres, I’ve been on many videos the past day and many weren’t related to Avicii or even music at all yet you see comments and people talking about this everywhere, he was an Icon to all of all

I have no clue with the story...if DJ. is the one who create the new version of the feeling from the original song ...and of course he took some songs from some artists (singers) and make it in his way ,lucky him...because he seems to be talent in the bad way..that why the world said ...people love to be bad ...because you told them to be....for blocking the kids to be good boys and happy kids in the world ...too bad that some kids super stupid can not see the trick that taking away the lost time of very value at that moment of their life,but sinking down in the dark memory that the whole world love and see those boys in hell, love judging those kids...I don't know that ...the other side you reserve those space for who.?in those happy space area ....is cost so much money some boys have to die 2-3 life time...still can not get in there.. I curious if the boys who will follow me to be in this black hole ....they are followed me because they see ??? What good ...to be inside here ?...

I am so sad about the death of Tim Bergling aka Avicii and for his family and loved ones. He truly was a musical GENIUS! I hope his death wasn't part of a satanic conspiracy because this industry is rampant with satanists and freemasons, and they believe in human sacrifices to gain power. What was Avicii doing alone in Oman??? Hmmm, it's so obvious......look at Armin Van Buuren's creepy photo featured here... he's dressed entirely in black and his right hand covering his heart which is a Freemason hand gesture symbol. (As the evidence points out in the illustrations in this section, the "hand on heart" sign has a number of meanings, depending particularly on the exact placement of the hand and the positioning of the fingers. As always, the left hand on heart indicates the sinister occultic path. The thumb extended upward leaving the hand squared in the "L" position signals fidelity, sincerity and being "on the square." The thumb upward symbolizes the child-soul, the heart in subjection to higher powers. The sign of Hand on Heart is practiced and taught in the rituals for many degrees of Freemasonry. For example: In the Degree of Sublime Knights Elected, the candidate is instructed in the sign. His right hand is extended across the chest to the heart and the thumb is pointed upward. (Richardson's Monitor of Freemasonry, p. 147) In the Degree of Companion Select, the sign is given with the right hand. (Richardson's Monitor of Freemasonry, p. 86) In the Degree of Select Master, the initiate is told "The most popular signs in Masonry are made in this manner: Place the palm of the right hand on the heart, and pronounce the word SECRESY." (Richardson's Monitor of Freemasonry, p. 80) Anyway, I hope Tim Bergling is in a place of real peace and not in "Avicii" which means "lowest place in hell" in Buddhism. First Armin Van Buuren states in 0:58 that he knows Avicii really well but then recanted in 3:40 that he didn't know him that well. Some contradiction as to how well he knew him. Despite of Tim Bergling's health issues, he was trying to find peace and wellness. But certain powers at be could've conspired to prey upon his weakness. Noticed how Armin stated in 2:38 that he was very well protected by his management and it was really hard to get to him and he changed his number at some point, and he lost contact after that." Hmmm, wonder why Avicii had to change his number and remained so protected by his management even within his DJ circles like Armin Van Buuren??? God forbid no fowl play was involved surrounding his death. It really makes you wonder, hmmmmm.

Avicii's death hasn't felt right to me from the start. Just doesn't make sense.. way too much to live for and too much still to do. More likely he was killed because his songs were too much of a positive influence and uplifted people's vibration. It is a fact the CIA watches celebrities and the way they influence people and has killed people before. They do not want people happy, it disturbs the war profiteering industry..they want to keep people in as low a vibration as possible. This is a sad fact of this world.
