Thumb Ring by Jäger&Sammler, Berlin - Review

Look with what the nice guys from Jäger&Sammler came up with!
A full fletched thumb ring, with big groove, but a cutout, so one can feel the string.
Very interesting and it works for me. Well most of the time, if the string is very thin, I got some skin pinching.
We just need to insert a small piece of very thin leather or something to protect the skin.
But overall, the rings works great and is a good one for beginners and even advanced archers.

God forbid one make a living out of one’s passion! Provided honesty is maintained in reviews, business dealings etc, being able to do archery professionally makes you more of an archer, not less of one. I cook, but not for a living. That doesn’t make me more of a chef than someone who does.

Yes. I am inspired by you. One can tell that it is love of archery first, with you, and business, second. My first bow will be a Snake 60. And I will order the leather thumb ring by Bekir Buyuksindir. I watch all your videos. I hope they ship to California. I wanted to buy the Starter kit, which interested me but the website didn't let me checkout. But then I thought the Snake bow would be better. Thanks for all the excellent videos.👍

My favourite Thumb Protection Gear is the brown Leather Glove you also used in many of your videos. And while i do not own a Xerxes mini from Lukasz Navalny i feel no need to switch to a thump ring. Many thanks for this review! Another lesson learned.

you should review the alibow “genghis khan” !! i used to do archery for my school team and i’m thinking about getting back into it but using a horse bow, i’ll probably end up getting that one!

I can never get my thumb ring to fit tightly enough so that it doesn't rotate on my thumb. That means adjusting it each time I shoot. My solution is to use Leukotape to get a tighter fit for the ring and to protect my thumb from the string. I use the Vermil Turkish ring.

I buy alot of different kinds of releases most are build for low weight bows this feels the same ...60 pounds and my finger tab doesnt stop finger pain same for leather gloves
