The TTT1 combo names are incredible. I wish I knew who came up with “ ZARCH DELUXE WITH SUPERSIZE BOOTY McSPANK” so I could shake their hand.

If you ever do come back to this series please do an episode on Xiaoyu! I've always been a 2d fighting game player but enjoyed watching her for years and learning tekken in t8 with her. From the outside looking in she seems like a character with an inherently strong kit so I'd be really interested to see how competitively she has been over the years

Thanks for this, I always liked Armor King's design, aesthetic and lore. Glad he had a great run in competitive. You never think he would be so good. This shows you that clones can be better then the original.

Back then the community was so cool that it was customary to give staple juggles a distinctive name lol. I'm not kidding. Julia's launch, d+2, FC,df+4,3, df+4,2,b,f+1 (here seen at 9:56 courtesy of Unconkable's old rival, Slips) was called the Wonder Juggle/Combo lol

I got interested in tekken while playing Tekken 5 in 2017. I got to play Tekken 7 since then, seeing this kind of video makes me wish I got into tekken earlier. Great content!

Shirdel, are you compiling data from these history videos? Things like combo routes, Frame Data, Movelists .etc? Losing Tekken Zaibatsu is a big blow to knowledge of the older games, which I find fascinating. Even though some sites with information are still up (Avoiding the Puddle Tekken 6 frame data for one), I started saving those pages since one day they will also go down and the information might be lost.

Nice to see that the character has mostly been or at least solid in most games. I'm curious if Tekken 8's Armor King will fair just as well. If he shows up in it right away.

He was so good in TTT2 and even in tag1 where he shines the best. I was excited when he came out in Tekken and he wasn't th same as he was in tag but thanks to the buffs in season 4 he is solid as always.

I’m a Jin main, but I’m curious what Lei was like cause I’ve heard he’s mostly mid to bottom tier except for Tekken 3 Also a quick question: If you did a Devil Jin history, would Tekken 3 and Tekken Tag Jin be part of the history?
