IT’S DONE! After 3 months of hard work we’ve finally completed the costume! Yay! In this 4th part of our Aloy videos we’ll show you how I made the undersuit and how Benni made all the glorious shiny armor! Also thanks to your help last time we decided we wanna to build the Sharpshot bow! This will be in part 5! Now I can’t wait to get the weapon done and finally go out for a nice photoshoot! 240 individual parts. To put that onto a scale... so there's more parts in the costume than we have bones in our body... Great work! :)

You have really inspired me to follow your philosophy on cosplay, I know you don't always do it, but when you have such a big proyect between your hands, you tend to take your time to do it instead of rushing something. I like to think like this nowadays instead of spreading tears all over my costumes because they aren't ready and they aren't looking like I want them to look. Some people are fine with regular results if they have the costume ready, but for me, that's a total insanity, I end up being really tired and unfocused due to the total rush and unsatisfied. It makes me happy to see such a big idol for me doing the same on costumes that need the time ^^ Thank you Kamui, always an inspiration, hoping to do an Aloy's costume too :3

I learned a while ago that it's not worth rushing a costume for a deadline. At least when it's a passion project like Aloy. You spend so much time on a costume so why would you rush it and risk all that hard work? I wanna love the result so I build on it until I'm satisfied. It's still important to get it done EVENTUALLY though, haha!

Seriously impressive work! Can't imagine how hard it must be to stay motivated for months and months, working on yet another tiny (but cool) detail... Loved the 3D modeling bit - I can easily imagine that a single thing would take 5 hours to model, it is very difficult working in 3D.

Really lovely work. I am still not in love with the 3D printed stuff, but I can imagine that in some sense, it saves a lot of time, especially when producing mirror-imaged items.

Great job completing this amazing cosplay!! You really know your craft and go above and beyond to make everything so perfect!! I can tell you put all the time necessary into crafting your cosplay and dont take shortcuts or try to half-ass things. You make sure everything is perfect and the final results show!! Its awesome! Looks almost identical to the reference and I am amazed by the amount of work you two put in. The only thing that kind of disappointed me was the choice of fabric for the under suit. In the picture it looks leathery or velvety, in my opinion the stretchy brown jersey doesn't do it justice and actually takes the whole costume down a notch, it looks a little cheap. Everything else is FREAKING amazing though! Keep up the good work :D

It was actually to closest looking fabric I could find. We zoomed in on this piece in the photo-mode to make sure it fits. Thanks for the feedback though! :)
