My strat (albeit a little less consistent) was Earshot + Laser Lance, then Pile Bunker (weapon bay) after first attack. Dizzy on hand and Earshot help dominate second phase.

Honestly, it isn't even the issue that shotties are too strong, its that everything else is dogshit. They should actually buff the other stuff to be on the same level.

@@metalhev3989 Same thoughts. Assault rifles and some plasma guns are lackluster because of shotguns that do everything better. Rifles need to have a range buff or bullet travel speed buff, or better yet, more effective ACS buildup or direct hit adjustment. Meanwhile, plasma guns might need a bit of an ammo buff. The penalty for using energy weapons is already good enough, though. Also, I believe that the funnel launcher also needs a buff, like a multi-lock, more funnels, or more damage/stagger buildup for them to be more effective as pressure tools.

@@metalhev3989 this. THe focus on stagger and using burst to capitalize on that stagger means the traditionally solid all rounder options like rifles just feel sooooooo terrible to use.

I gotcha bro, it’s Both Arms Zimmerman Shotgun Both Shoulders Haldeman Shotgun Head: VP-44D Core: Nachtreiher/40E Arms: AR-012 Menander C3 Legs: Kasuar/42z You can mix out the head and core for higher HP hybrid build as well with a generate of your choice and use any chip that assists close range, cheers!

Why not nachtreihe arms? They have better gun specialisation

@@douwehuysmans5959great point, it’s just the defensive property of these arms better and the drop from 160 to 120 Atleast for me on that close range isn’t significant enough to give up on defense, since I already have low health 😞
