Armstrong MIDLENGTH First Impressions
This NEW board from Armstrong is that perfect One Board quiver for the Wing Foiler and Foil Surfer. The longer rail line and narrower outline creates a board that not only moves through the water faster but also gets up onto foil sooner. Getting onto foil is different than the FG board because of it's length, from our experience using the wing to generate lift is more effective than bouncing the board up and down. For Light wind wing foiling this is a great alternative to the full downwind foilboard experience more compact and easier to manage with a wing in hand.
This board also serves as a great Surf Foil Board for someone who wants to get up in the most marginal of conditions. The width of the board depending on size is quite comparable to a standard fish or hybrid surfboard which makes paddling super easy. Due to the longer length the board generates plenty of speed to catch not only whitewash waves but small unbroken waves, which makes this board a winner for the beginner surf foiler.
