This is very difficult task .. reason..they hardly eat anything whole day , they run like sprinter for 1600 mtr and get selected ..they keep on standing all day..for different physical tasks in a queue....in the end bests are selected.

Some of them commenting its easy. Its look easy. They started early morning 5 Am. First they will check your qualification then they will start running test (1600 Meters in 4 minutes) You have to pass. Selected candidates will go for this chin up test ..and further test process. Everything looks eaasy..you can comment easily. But reality is different. Very tough process even small mistake they will reject.. I saw most of guys coming from rural areas and they will come a day before will stay outside the campus and waiting for gate entry.

@@abhijithanilkumar4959 1 mile in 4 minutes is not possible. It's actually 8 minutes for 1 mile(1.6km) also if u can't do 10 chinups in a row, maybe u should apply elsewhere and not arny

The problem in our system is higher ranking officer abuses lower rank. They don't learn how to respect the lower ranking people. It is not like giving respect will make you loose any war.

That is chin ups not pull ups. The grip should be either way round. Chin ups are relatively easier.

Ravi Sharma that is just a myth....both are equally tough unless u have created a muscle imbalance...someone who focuses more on biceps will find chin-ups easier and some one else who focuses more on forearms and lats will find pull ups easier....most of the people focus more on biceps and triceps that is why this myth is created

These are chin-ups , a bit easier than pull-ups. Btw i can do 28 pull-ups in one set with full ROM and perfect form ...but i suck at running.

@@siddharthdash4084 if 10 is your max, then you will only be able to do 6, barely. Because you will be so tired and exhausted from qualifying previous tests, hunger and all day of standing. So work on you pull ups, when you will be able to do 15-18 pull ups at once, then you would easily do 10 in the test.
