@@tussalgull5986 Yeah, I know, but it's just cool that they chose to speak English just for us. I can speak Italian, but I'm much more comfortable speaking English. I wouldn't dream of doing a video in Italian. In summary, English speaking nationalities are lucky that they can get away with moving to many countries, but not even bother to learn the language. Everyone else will do it for you.

@@salvatorebelloni8422 I live in a region with a big american military base and it's always funny when new soldiers and their family arrive. 50% "what the f...why are so many of you speaking our language?" and 50% be like "why are some people who work in stores NOT speaking English?" Some are baffled in that way, some the other way around...but always baffled. ^^ - for those who expect bus drivers or sales assistants to speak english...be aware that we learn English in school and those who were pretty good in school aren't typically learning these professions. Not that there wouldn't be smart and bilingual people, just about the majority.
@salvatorebelloni8422

@@torstent8979 I always find it interesting how casually English is spoken in other countries. In the UK, we also learn another language at school, but nobody really learns it properly, even people who have high grades. I have relatives who speak two languages, and I've very, very rarely met someone else who is bilingual, even if they are of migrant descent. If you speak two languages in the UK, it's considered impressive. Where as in your country, I imagine speaking two languages is just the norm. I think it's hard for non native English speakers to understand just how unusual it would be to expect your average British person to be capable of speaking another language briefly, let alone do a whole video in it.
@nathan113
@nathan113 3 жыл бұрын
@@salvatorebelloni8422 British people are just lucky their language is widely spoken. I think education would drive other languages more if we had a niche language like Norwegian. By knowing English we can work in many different jobs and in multiple different countries around the world. You'd be a lot more limited in your prospects if you only spoke Norwegian.

@Connor Gaughan you are correct about that, but it's not only about arm muscles, if you go full lockout and let go of your shoulder you have to depress it again. As someone who trains, the massive intensity he showed at the beginning absolutely robbed him on how many he could do total. There's a Goldilocks zone to rep speed, too slow and the extended engagement time kills you, too fast and the inertia acts as extra weight, and if you go full intensity, the only limiting factors are muscle engagement speed, and strength against that inertial effect, such that in some cases youre essentially doing near max muscle capacity on every rep, slowing down as the muscle fatigues and looses capability. I absolutely think if he did it at the same speed as magnus hed have another 5 or so reps in it. Even with weight youre used to, nothing leaves you feeling dead after a set like hitting it with intensity.

Noone think him hitting the floor of the contraption so hard gave him an unfair advantage? He seemed to bounce off of it which I would suspect gave him momentum on the positive half of the rep.

@@tommymack3210 agreed! I just think that for these types of tests, proper form and timing is what to aim for. At least that is what we did when I was in the US army. But definitely, if your aim is to build strength and muscle, the way Magnus was doing was perfect 👌

whenever magnus does an excersize and not a movement you can tell he tries to move as smoothly and train himself as efficiently as possible, but if he was going for as many as possible with only the limits set he definitely could get more
