I am 61 will be 62 in January 2025. I am gonna buy some Jack Lalanne books. That guy was a stud up until he died at age 96 from pneumonia I think? Jack was a Pharmacist Mate in US Navy during WW2.

Retiring early August and my first long trip is going to the WRTR/RTR in January I've always wanted to go since I discovered Bob's channel 7 years ago, I'll be coming from the east coast so i'm already checking out my route and my stops along the way I want to have a plan on my first long trip, I wouldn't worry as much if I wasn't pulling a trailer but I know my stops have to be calculated to be able to fit in gas stations etc. I can't wait.

Lucille seems a really kind nice woman, who carries a huge load with her. She appears traumatized to me. Despite this (if I am correct) she has a wonderfu; and beautiful Van. I love the decor and the beautiful details, like the pillows on the bed. The entire place breathes peace and tranquility to me. Wonderful how you help heal yourself through nature, and how you conmnmect to the community. You are no doubt a valuable asset to the Nomad Community. Thanks for sharing Lucille and Bob!

Yes, Girls are veterans too. Not a camper anymore. Did plenty while raising children and grandchildren. Bought 5 acres, couple of goats and I live for my chickens. As a Vietnam Army Veteran myself, we learned very well how to budget and thrive. Keep our noses clean & our heads down. We're living the dream - finally. NEOHIO with parking.

I just subscribed to her channel. I'm a disabled vet, started out in a minivan and now have a truck and 19' travel trailer. I began my nomad life two years ago this coming October at age 67. Hope we meet down the road!

I love her RV! It is exactly, exactly what I want when I’m an empty nester. I can keep working as a traveling healthcare worker, sell or rent out my house and live in this! Love the white, it’s light and bright and allows you to i corporate neutral tones or some splash of color so it feels like home. But the type of rv is exactly what I need to live. A bed, a bathroom, a kitchen, some storage space and a little table to eat or journal at. And the drivers seat is inside the rig, safer!!! No need to go outside to hitch a trailer back on a vehicle. It’s perfect. God I kind of envy her a bit! God give me patience!

She's definitely a minimalist. I love the caravan idea. 63 year-old female in my 4th year full time & it would really be nice for me. Caravan seems impossible after 4 years not being able to find anyone going my way.

I love the minimalist and cheerfulness of Lucille‘s rig! I am not an anxious person per se, but I absolutely must have light and an uncluttered space. I can easily go to very anxious and stressed with dark and clutter. I love Lucille‘s mission and her thoughts about helping women driving cross-country. That would besomething I would definitely take advantage of if I were to be on the road. Thank you, Bob and thank you Lucille!❤

It's fun watching the amazing varieties of videos you post. Although caravaning seems like a good idea for some, i prefer to go it alone and meet up with friends along the way. Not relying on anyone but myself to make decisions without others' input gives me confidence and lowers my stress. Some armchair therapists here have equated no eye contact as severe trauma, but there are numerous reasons for not having eye contact. It isn't always trauma. "You can't judge a book by its cover," as some say.

Thank you Bob and Lucille. I am not on the road yet, but am slowly getting my small travel trailer ready for possibly a Fall entry. I'm hot-blooded too, Lucille (lol) and dont think I'd mind RV-ing in cooler/colder weather. I love that you're putting together a group of women travel companions, as thats JUST what I'm looking for. I will DEFINITELY follow you on your platforms, and look forward to interacting with you and fellow travelers. As you mentioned, I've been thinking along the lines of "How can I be helpful within this community?" I'm on disability, so im not much of a hiker. But I'm more than willing to be the one who watches over things while YA'LL go on your hikes!! Maybe thats my contribution - security guard!! Married 20+ yrars to a Vet, so maybe that's where I get my being protective and vigilant. Anyway, I'm normally not this talkative (lol) but just wanted to thank you for thinking of others on this journey in our lives. With a community of like-minded individuals we can get through anything. Blessings, Lucille!!

Lucille's outlook and plans for life are impressive. If I ever do get out on the road, I would love to be able to be part of a supportive and hopefully fairly drama-free caravan at least part of the time. What I especially like about the interior of this RV model is the amount of open space in the transition between kitchen and bed/bath. Way more open space than typical. It seems like RV design is definitely getting better. We rented a big unit for a road trip and it was fairly new and already falling apart, which was disappointing. But I have to say that unit seems tight, compact, and maybe would last?

Aloha female veteran! I’m looking at following suit in a similar rig but modifying it for my 2 cats. I plan on getting the adventure TT membership and moving every 3 weeks if campgrounds but I do want to link up and get to know other women RV/Van lifers. I’d like to learn how to fix things myself and hopefully help others and volunteer. Looking forward to starting my journey later this year.

I can relate. I would not mind doing this. What i think about the kitchen thing is that - whyu does all the kitchens have a built in permanent oven? I think it would make more sense, assuming you have the electric power to get a pot and pan and an induction cooktop. I have one of them and I love it. That way you could save a lot of space that rarely is used - the oven, and maybe put it over the refrigerator. If you need an oven get a countertop combo, and store it when you are not using it. Using propane though I guess is a multi-use energy source, so there's that. Oh, she does not have an oven. Smart girl!

I like the white too! Some of the lighter woods are ok but still not as cheerful as white. And your pretty scarves hanging there really stand out against the white! Good job helping others on the road.
