This series could not have ended in a better way. It was interesting to hear how Kim went from initially disliking traditional folk music to being a folk artist himself. I loved hearing him sing. I also appreciated the fact that he is a great knitter and did not hesitate to show his projects on-the-go to us. A lovely person with a lovely voice. Someone who has found his or her niche in life is a gift to have around, and you both found a gem to bring to the series. Another lovely moment was when Arne gave Kim something he knew he would cherish just as much. That was so kind of Arne. Thank you again for this wonderful series. We got to travel and learn so many interesting aspects of craftsmanship in Setesdal through the memorable people and the gorgeous area. Thank you SO much. 🥰

One of the most moving episodes, here. Arne - your generosity is so warming: to give something someone wants AND something so loved by oneself is the gift of a lifetime. It was so gracefully done, so lovely. And isn’t it fun to share these common interests with others? I hope you two get to meet #DollyParton sometime; I hope she sees these videos and, when travel opens up, all of you are in the same place at the same time. Thank you, all three. Bravo.

What an interesting person he is. I love that he is considering recording the poems in English. When he sang the first poem in English, I was struck with how similar it is to the a cappella folk songs of Appalachia mountain area of America. Of course, we have many nationalities of people who settled in the mountains who brought their ways to America. Dolly Parton is from Appalachia. I could listen to Kim sing all day. Good music to sew along with. Thank you again for this series. Much love to you. Gail K.

Hello Arne, Carlos and Kim. This for me was the most enjoyable video in you Setasdal series. Kim is a natural singer and a lovely knitter too. I love how everything he does is family related. Thank you all for a smashing video. 😊 xxx

Kim, we would be so honored to have you in the States. I could listen to you for hours. Arne, it was so touching when you gave Kim Dolly's costume jewels. I pray you get to meet her someday soon.

It's funny how music is much like food lol. Our tastes for things change as we age. Something we didn't like as a child, we like now. I think sometimes fear of something is what causes the mistakes more than anything but doing a test run on something old is always a good idea for a first steek. Knitting and crocheting are for sure relaxing. I laughed so hard...I think it's a pillow. I feel like so many mistakes we are like...well, it can be a pillow LOL. Awe, such a special ending with gift giving and singing.

When I worked for US Customs a plane arrived from Canada. One passenger was Dolly Parton. She came to my counter and we had a very nice chat. She is so nice and sweet. The highlight of my career!

What a great episode. From Norwegian folk song, poetry and knitting to pink vinyl Dolly Paton LPs. The music was so atmospheric.
