I don't know if I will ever knit them all because I am a horribly slow knitter, but I am in full support of what you are doing for the children of Ukraine. I am hoping that the Russian soldiers will come to their senses and lay down their arms, turn around and walk back home! Love from BC Canada

I was just going to write exactly this. Well, I didn't buy them all. But, I did buy one. I don't know if I will ever do it b/c a) my list of things to knit and/or crochet is starting to grow about as long as my stack of books to read, and b) I'm not sure if I'm ready to tackle the color work.

I happen to have several skeins of yarn on hand that match the blue and yellow of the flag of Ukraine. Yesterday I arranged those skeins in the shape of the flag, took a photo, and posted it on social media with a message to Ukrainian knitters, wherever they might be.

Thank you for supporting the children of Ukrainian. This is my ancestral home land. The birth place of my grandmother. I have a great uncle and cousin that just disappeared during Stalin's reign.

Such a lovely way to start your video talking about the dreadful happenings in the Brave Ukraine. I saw the Emin /Munch exhibition in London, two of my favourite artists too. The exhibition was fabulous..very thought provoking. It made me cry lol . Xx

Very kind for you both to donate for Ukraine. Terrible times. I was so excited to hear your planned trip to Oslo. My grandma born 1900 and mom 1920 were born in Oslo. I was able to visit in 1999. Loved it so much. Would have loved to find relatives. Last name was Nilsen and found there are many with that name. Such beautiful country. Glad to see you both doing well.

My heart is aching for all of Ukraine, but I am so grateful for your generosity and willingness to help the children. I am praying that this will not escalate further and the suffering will end soon. I will purchase the sweater pattern. My husband watched the intro to Sit and Knit with me and we were quite moved by your lovely comments and care. I’ve seen photos of the new Munch museum - it looks fabulous!! I was able to visit the opera house several years ago - absolutely beautiful especially with the use of natural wood inside. I would also like to see the new library . . . Oslo has really been active with all these beautiful new buildings!!! A nice inclusion on your tour!!
