@@crotitogameing Very expensive! Here is why. I ran over an extra day of filming and the entire crew had to stay here (12-15 people) That is how the Tomahawk challenge happened. We filmed it while I was finishing the Phantom Blade to help make up for the cost of the crew.

I enjoyed this build primarily for it utilising all of the skills of the team to the fullest; from Kerry's machining to Matt and Ilya's forging and grinding to Lauren's sculpting and casting to John's leatherwork; there's something amazing about watching so many hands come together to make a project.

The whole time since I saw that crossbow in the ACU trailer, I'm thinking: "surely there's not going to be enough force imparted on that bolt to kill a man, let alone penetrate any armour he's wearing, is there?" I mean, there's a reason they make crossbows bigger than that, and without foldable arms, right? Turns out I was correct, because that bolt didn't even penetrate the whole way through a cake, lol. Seriously though, this thing looked awesome. The lady who does the detailing in wax doesn't get half as much appreciation in these comments for the work she produces as she should.

Well its the French revolution in the colonial era, I don't think anyone is going to be wearing armor at this period, its all tailcoats and fancy military uniforms.

alberach As far as I can remember that one didn't actually work. But I might be wrong about that one, it's been a while since I saw that epp.

***** It did work. It just had to be hidden by hand. You can get it out, but not in again.

alberach Tony built a hidden blade, but it didn't have the bow component. ***** Unfortunately it wouldn't be possible to make a bow which closed back up again, (would need delicate clockwork mechanism). I'm pretty sure they would have added that if they could.

I keep coming back to the assassin's creed builds because i just think that they are some of the most eye-gasmic build videos. There's just something about seeing hidden blades in real life. I do wish that they'd do an assassin's creed syndicate hidden blade one!!

I doubt the cable would actually work, since it's not practical for a cable to be attached to the forearm, but it'd be very nice to see the hidden blade with it's two tiers and metal knuckles integrated into the vambrace. It won't be identical to the in game weapon, but then again, the assassin's creed world is fiction so...yeah....The vambrace itself is pretty...hot damn.

Best episode of Reforged to date. It seemed a lot more in-depth than usual with the process of the build and I loved that. I'd watch 30min episodes just to really see how things are made.

the bow wouldn't work unless made of wood or a similar substance & if made of wood it would likely break due to the unevenness of it.

This is by far the best episode of the season and one of the best of the series. Really enjoyed watching the build and listening to the how-to, keep up the great work! My suggested builds are AOT 3D Gear or Ichigo's dual swords.

I love the amount of times they casually throw off the line "this special piece of equipment someone made specifically for this task". Like, it's not enough to have all these fancy tools and machines, sometimes, you need to just make a tool to cut metal with the power hammer.

Xander B I'm a fabricator and the amount of things we make around the workshops which you could never buy is amazing. Most tools don't do the job you need them for.

In terms of personality, I always did like Satsuki better than Ryuko. However, Ryuko's weapon is hands-down the most iconic aspect of the show. Whenever I think of KLK, the first thing that comes to my mind is the Scissor Blade.
