This song is supposed to have a deep feel to it. Not enough reverb in the vocals. Tempo seems a bit too fast as well.

Sean Stanton Hey man don't be hating. I think it was pretty good. I'm still a huge fan of the original and I think any song is better in it's original version, but I think they did a good cover. AND the original song was in German. At least I think so.

Yes it was. Original version is by German singer Peter Schilling and was originally recorded and released in German language at the beginning of 1983 in Europe (including non German speaking countries, such as Italy, Spain, The Netherlands and France. In all of them, the German version of the single went up high in the charts). Only later that year, it was re-recorded with English lyrics and released in US, Canada and other countries. I personally enjoy the German version and the verse "Völlig losgelöst von der Erde" more than "Earth below us, drifting, falling", but maybe it's because it's the first one I listened to.
