Gen. (Retd.) Niki Sumi President of the breakaway NSCN K on 11th of April attended the Church services in Zunheboto, the morning service he attended in Sumi Baptist Church Zunheboto (SBCZ) and later in the evening he attended in Zunheboto Town Sumi Baptist Church (ZTSBC). His sole purpose of the visit was to yearn prayers from the believers. Niki Sumi while addressing the congregation in SBCZ and ZTSBC said that he had always been guiding his peers that they are fighting for the rights of Nagaland meanwhile standing for Nagaland for Christ. He always believed that Nagas are unique and that they should never be under the clutches of someone who performs idolatry. Sharing about his return he said it was never his idea to rejoin the negotiating table but upon the request of several Naga Civil organizations he finally decided to answer their calls. He further stressed that he though has signed the ceasefire but will not join the negotiations until the Indian govt. calls all the three organization in one table to settle the issue. He further shared that Nagas as per his observation are growing spiritually strong but if we still are divided in the name of class and tribes there will not have a logical solution and he further urged the Nagas to reunite.

I don't understand why some people are critical of him for wearing sunglasses.. why are we so good at criticizing by looking at the book cover without opening it? If decency comes from not wearing glasses. Prove me wrong. Simply understand that Akujou Niki being a leader, shouldering responsibilities of Naga people., One must understand his purpose of weearing Sunglasses is to hide sensitive emotions that may get out from his face/eyes. To gain Naga people's support, NPG's should start working for walfare of the public first, like threatening /checking the contractors, officers , politicians to work honestly for public,check the misuse of funds, build hospitals,school , colleges.Then Naga public will automatically come out on behalf of NPGs against the center . But in today's state Naga Public hates all NPGs. And without the love from public, solution is not possible.
