I really don’t know you (in real life) but I am always so happy when I see your forever home and think of how the kids are just living their best lives there. A fun idea…we had a pool when my sons were teenagers and we put up a clothes line…they were required to throw their towels and swim shorts over the line when they got out…then when they jumped back in later it would be dry. All the neighborhood kids swam too and that was really the only request. Throw your towel over the line when you leave.

Kim, you have cured me of my fear of substitutions or not having precise measurements in recipes. If I didn’t have the EXACT ingredient or the EXACT amount called for in the recipe, I would scrap the whole thing. Now I just wing it like Kimberly Whisk and it always turns out just great! I agree, Crockpot dinners, air fryer, instant pot, freezer meals, And extra notebook paper to keep your grocery list with your recipes...you'll always know where it is.

@@santaorlando6655 1 stick butter 2 eggs 1/3c Greek yogurt 2c(about 4 bananas) mashed 1teaspoon vanilla 2c flour 1 teaspoon baking soda 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon 3/4c brown sugar 1) Cream sugar and butter 2) Add eggs, one at a time, mix 3) Add Greek yogurt, mix 4) Add bananas & vanilla, mix 5) Mix dry ingredients in a separate bowl and gradually add to wet ingredients. 6) Mix just until blended, try not to over mix. Bake at 350°F for about an hour, cover with foil after the first 30 minutes. Hope this is helpful :)

I love a clean house too but it just never stays that way so I have a house keeper come in between my cleaning moods so I admire you for pushing through even though you are BUSHED!!! I now have happy in my day !!!!

Had to comment about the running water, I and my husband both cannot stand wasting water. If we have to run water to get it hot we collect it in buckets and throw it on plants, in the washer, outside on the grass or shrubs. We live in an area where a lot of people have to go to town and fill up large water tanks cuz they can’t dig wells on their property. Luckily we and a few neighbors share a natural spring and have it piped to our homes.

My dog and new pup went to the groomers today and I saw this vlog come up. So I did laundry and 4 weeks worth of ironing in the garden. Now I am ready to watch. Sort of negative influencing. Hubby took car magazines to the toilet with him, that was his treat of puppy free time. Bless!!

Kim! Organize your new recipe book also by main ingredient (chicken, ground turkey, seafood, chocolate, etc.) So, when you look in your fridge or have a craving you can find a recipe that way.

Kim, I started watching due to my Target Dollar Spot obsession, but stay now for your crazy fun self that brings me a smile on my face every time. Please share your setting on the instant pot for your meals. I’ve tried 2 meals in the instant pot. They were fails. However, I make the best gluten free cheesecake in it. Lol

Oooooh first of all I'm so glad you decided to stick around and hang out with me, outside of Target!! secondly, the instant pot seizes to mistify me. I NEVER get the timing right and feel like I always have to check it and cook it longer lol - this pork I did the 'slow cooker' setting for two and a half hours, then it wasn't done (but remember it started completely frozen) then I did pressure cook on high for 20 more minutes and it was perfection! :) - I find it's always a guessing game with the instant pot and timing / settings! that's probably why I don't use it a lot!

I made a book first, then found a file rack in the pantry worked best for me. I can just put them in the folder and pull the whole section out when needing a recipe. I do use protective sheets so I can wipe clean. Works great and I love not have the big book to deal with.

Hi Kim I'm so glad you are feeling better. To answer your question, running water drives me nut! My husband and I live on a mountain top in Tn and water is in short supply for us. We have to be very careful or we will run out of water and have to wait for the well to refill. I am always cringing at people on tv who just let their water run. LOL People take for granted that there will always be water when you turn on the faucet. Love your videos and your sweet family. Can't wait to watch you progress thru your pregnancy.

I’ve first found your last birthing video and then everything else! I’m 7.5 months pregnant and have been on bed rest - so I watch EVERYTHING and let the chores pile up- I can delegate and cheer on the husband and daughter lol they’ve come so far in 7.5 months lol. It’s like I’m auditing how to wife/mom and storing away PRO TIPS! I have not had a routine or any sense of direction so this observation stage is so needed - who knew! I did the same thing a few years ago with my recipes! A recipe binder is SO much easier to work with and the pages don't get ruined so I think you'll love it!

Tried it love it! You can throw your bananas in the oven at 250 for 15 minutes for super brown bananas

You can sear in the instant pot on the saute button. Just add a bit of oil and wait till it heats up and then u can sear then add ur liquids and pressure cook. So nice that ur energy level is coming back. Always a joy to watch ur videos. I'm so with u even if it's just before I get in my bed I have to make it first I can't get into a disheveled bed. Not that it happens very often but there have been a few occasions over the years.

A closet suggestion: maybe try putting short sleeve types on the top section and sweater long sleeve types on bottom section. Just a little swap. Since it will be mostly warm now and you’re tall. :)

I love these videos! Feels like I'm hanging out with an old friend. 🌸 I just love the look of your closet. It just looks like fun with all the colors and clothing styles. Side note, a few videos ago you mentioned watching Stephanie and Derrick and now I'm hooked! I've been binge watching the podcast everytime I need to clean up. It's amazing. And your recommendations are always gold!! Point here is you've gotten me so hooked on Crime Weekly I immediately recognized it on your phone while you were doing dishes 🤣🤣🙈🙈
