This was not just a show, and these are not just characters. This is a reality check of how our life passes away in stages. And how we evolve through each stage that's lost. And they are us. This is our family and our life and our passing of time. Life is a beautiful sad Rollercoaster of ups and downs and twists and turns and like all rides, it will come to an end. But the memories we make are what get passed along and live on.

I am 60 years old and I have watched A LOT of television in my life. This show surpasses all of the shows I have ever watched on network television. It was so relatable on so many levels. It truly had something for everyone. I truly hope that the end of life really is such a beautiful experience as was depicted on The Train. Love strong, love hard, love completely, but above all...LOVE!!! I LOVE(D) the Pearsons!!!

If Mandy Moore and the rest of the cast, but especially Mandy Moore, don't win every award available in the industry after this, I swear I'm gonna lose my shit and I'll sue the US government or something for everything they have. This show was IMPECCABLE and the last season was a masterpiece. Only show ever that had me crying like a baby with the penultimate episode. God help me on Wednesday once it's over for good.

Rebecca hadn’t yet died when she saw Jack. He was a part of her mind like the others on the train had been the previous week. It was when she squeezed Jack’s hand at the end that she actually passed on. That was the moment Randall felt and the other two saw her squeeze Randall’s hand as she died.

I think this is the last GREAT show on network television. I will never forget that feeling at the end of the pilot episode, when the fireman meets Jack and you realize the relationship of all the characters. Full body chills, followed by the lump in the throat, followed by immediate waterworks. It has been 8-years and I have never forgotten that moment, watching with my wife. That is EPIC and was followed by so many more. I just revisited that moment, binging on Netflix, now in January 2024.

I started watching this show in 2018. They had just finished the 2nd season, and I needed something to watch. I was on my maternity leave, my first child, my baby girl sleeping next to me. I remember seeing the episode where William dies, and I was just hysterically crying. My husband comes home and I said to him “this is the best episode of a show I’ve ever seen” and so he watched it with me. And it became “our show”. Now 4 years have passed and I’m pregnant with our second child and we watched the last episode. I PERSONALLY feel like this show came full circle in my life and it’s just unbelievable. Job well done to all of you! 👏🏾 perfection.

Ahh that's beautiful! I was so late to the game, I started watching this show with my bf when season 6 had finished. It became "our show" too every night we would watch it. And after watching, it would trigger a lot of conversations surrounding topics that wouldn't have been a thing. This show got us to talk about family, boundaries, relationships, empathy, how we wanna raise kids, etc. Important things to talk about with your future partner. We binged this show in under 4 months 😄

Obviously, the whole show and everyone in it deserves all the awards, but we waited so long for Miguel's story, nearly at the very end, and Jon Huertas knocked it out of the park. The only other thing I've watched him in was 'Castle', but I hope he gets as much attention as he deserves. Miguel's episode made me feel similarly to Randall's mother's ep. Heartwrenchedly beautiful.

I love Miguel and his story. And I also accept that we wouldn't be privy to all the information (like why was his relationship with his kids so bad) because life is like that. When you lose someone you realize that maybe you never asked them something and now you will never know.

This is Us started so beautifully and ended with all heart. I love every character and their development. I love the new additions like Elijah and Sophie and Edie and the new children. I was rooting for Madison and Kevin but I’ve grown to love their characters as a blended family. I’d like to imagine the new generation of Pearsons growing and expanding and still talking about how their grandmother and 2 grandfathers and how the family started. It’s just heartwarming in every aspect all the way to the last episode. I had tears of joy. Thank you for making such a beautiful story. ❤️

This has been the best show that I’ve ever watched! Everything about it was so thoughtful and intentional. I feel like an honorary Pearson. I love the characters like family. They also maintained realistic story lines, people messed up, sibling rivalry and fights, dealing with the pressures and complexities of life, losing love and finding it again, etc. Even the messy stuff was portrayed so beautifully. Everyone was humanized and respected no matter what they went through. It was just phenomenal start to finish and I hate that it is over 😩. This show and cast deserves to clean sweep every single award show coming up. Goodbye Pearson family 🥲

The myth of western family relationships has been washed away after watching this show. The importance and respect every individual receives have been scripted so well that every viewer can find a character around them, and can find solutions and give the space for each individual in reality to find a better solution for every situation. I have been suggesting to my family and friends to watch this show from the day I finished watching the first season. The characters of each individual are filled with flaws and positive traits for every viewer to relate to the day-to-day people we come across. My favorite character is Miguel who has been neglected but truly has been an integral part of the Pearsons family. The most heart-wrenching part of the show was the death of Jack Pearson. Jack Pearson is a person, whom every female would like to have as a husband. I thank all the people who were behind and on-screen for giving us such a wonderful series. Love you all.

I had taken a break from this show and I didn’t watch ever since I lost my dad in January of 2021. I knew it might be too much for me. Recently, I started binge-watching again over the past few weeks. Seasons 5 and 6 got me… had me crying a whole ocean. There were so many emotions and sadness but it was so healing at the same time. Right before the last episode, I looked at the wall of picture collages of my dad, held his ashes (which I have in a heart case), cried, and then played his harmonica. Him and my mom met in New Orleans btw and he loved music. 🎵🎶 Imagine how those episodes got me. Thank you “This Is Us” for helping me let out the pain I’ve had in here in a healthy, healing, needed way and being part of this process with me. This isn’t just a show… this is us!!! 😭🙏

Wow! Same! This show should come with a warning. It is so emotionally triggering. I lost my dad in 2018, and everything came crumbling down for me mentally.. when I’d just starting picking pieces of myself.. covid hit & I lost a few people I knew.. I got infected too, but mine was mild, after I recovered, I was in a bad mental state. I started This Is Us, and I simply couldn’t take it.. it was emotionally draining. I quit. I’m binging on it now & I can’t tell you, how much I relate to the show. I felt like, the show was addressing every trauma I ever had in my life.

I am 67 years old and have seen a lot of television in my life. That being said, I also have lived an unusual life. I have an older half sister who is black,( we had different fathers). My younger sister and I were removed from the home we shared with our mother and her partner in 1964 when we were 8 and 9 and placed in foster care. I never saw my father again, and never knew what became of my older sister until I found her living in the same town I live in 53 years later. My younger sister died of an overdose over thirty years ago. So when I say that I related to this show, it is kind of obvious why. But even if I had lived an Ozzy and Harriet kind of life, watching this series would have been time well spent. It will always resonate as genuine and beautiful to me. I am sorry to say goodbye. Mandy Moore now ranks as one of my very favorite actresses on television, right along side Sarah Paulson, Rachel Bloom and Elizabeth Moss. She is wonderful. I hope she gets an Emmy.

SPOILER ALERT! I loved it! I loved that the different aged characters were seen together as though they were friends. A type of self reconciliation with who they were and who they became! Awesome! I love how they honored their mother and how she wouldn't "leave" until everyone was there! That little miracle of a hand squeeze after Randal said to tell their Dad, "hey." Whew! For a long time, I was upset how the family didn't seem to accept Miguel but when they finally did his story, IT WAS SO GOOD! ABOUT TIME! Then he told her on the train that she was still his favorite person! Oh my! Very glad Toby was there. Still mad that he and Kate divorced. Phillip is a nice man though, and I'm glad he was with Beth and Sophie as they waited out the storm together. He needed to see the dynamic from their perspecitve. I loved the scene with her OB doctor. I was already a fan of Gerald McRaney from the "Jericho" series. Wow! And how free and gentlemanly William was as Rebecca's escort! Priceless! I have loved this series, feel like you all are family. The writing deserves awards, the actors, everyone of you, deserve awards. The characters were so real, believable and lovable. This may be the best series ever. I feel lost now.

This show was like reading a wonderful novel. I loved this show for the depth of each character, and the powerful story lines, as well as the honest human experiences. I was able to identify with Randall and even Kate. I understood Kevin and learned from Rebecca. What a great springboard for positive dialogue for families and couples. This show is top notch and I didn't ever want it to end.

Started watching this about a month ago and tbh after a few episodes thought 'jeez that's a lot of episodes left' with my short attention span so stopped. Picked it up again a couple of weeks ago and I don't know my head just must have been in the right place for it this time round...I NEVER watch anything without doing something else too either crocheting or my phone/game but this...this I have watched all the way through without any distractions. I have paused the last few episodes yesterday because I didn't want it to end but that last episode was beautiful. What a lovely thought that in our final moments we have all those memories to look on and finally lay to rest. Stunning work from all involved but I've got to say the process Mandy Moore went through not only with the aging but the Alzheimers too was truly breathtaking and from my experience very true to life. Thank you. X

Fantastic show with an amazing cast, great relevant topics and an excellent script. It was Randall’s show all the way. Never saw him before this show; but also a shout to BOTH the dads, the mom and the sister. Will be a long time before I binge watch another show.

Nice people! I always thought that they would be in real life and they are. They are all people that I would love to get to know in real life. And the fact that these people were able to put together a show of this calibre for six years makes them very very special. I will miss the show very much but most of all I will miss these people. Whether they are in character or out they’re just very very cool.

6:36 “no green arrows” 😅 to be fair I think it’s hard for people to remember Justin was Oliver in Smallville, especially after what Stephen Amell did with the character
@darky1376
@darky1376 2 жыл бұрын
Smallville fans do. He obviously gets recognized for his role as Oliver Queen as well; that's why he mentioned it. But yeah obviously Stephen Amell made it more iconic since he had a whole show revolved around the character
