Great insight. Alexa Studio was a thing of beauty.. To clarify something implied.. "People shot film, and bought film cameras" people didn't really buy Arri 35mm film cameras in 2008.. ($150K+) and were still considered rental house "properties"... as the final output (film) still required copious amounts of $$ to create a completed image.

Can you guys please release a software update that can let the Amira shoot 4/3 anamorphic? Since it's the same sensor as the one on the mini, it should be possible. I know you guys say that the sensors for the Amira might not work well for open gate, but maybe i get lucky and i have a good one. this could extend the usefulness of my camera a bit longer.

i sugguest to call the next camera system #arriteett .. TETT in north africa amazigh language means (eye) .. soo as everybody know ... arri camera system has its fame for the closest to the human eye function ... which is hard part to acheive second ... i would like to ask about arri company ... have you ever thinking to make a photography cameras 35 mm or super 35 mm 'apsc' size sensor with the same image quality and good resolution for ppl that looking toward to have camera from your company
