@@Poppasmurf757 no, almost same even little bit less speed, i replace original arrma motor , because its become very hot with truck tires, but with that replacement motor it’s become warm sometimes hot, you can check my another brushless 1/8 motor replacement that motor it’s perfect

yes , it’s loose power, if you need more speed, you must have to change motor pinion, 2nd you have make a good combination with 4s lipo with ESC ( if you use a 4s lipo plz make sure the esc temperature is okay , if it’s over heated you have to replace it) and also wheels, if you use the original wheel ( come with this typhon ) maybe it’s less speed, and motor temperature will be okay or you use any other big diameter truck wheels , you will have hi speed and motor/ esc will be warm/ hot you know what i mean, if you like my work, please subscribe my channel, and also like my fb page “ RC LAB “ thank you ,

You need to run 4s to see increase power with this setup. The KV on the motor is less than the stock one so it requires more volts to get that rpm going.

Because your sct is likely a 1/10th scale and the arrma is a 1/8th scale that is bigger and heavier.

1/8 is okay , i never try with 1/9

Ya. You may have eventual part breakages depending on how you drive and how much power you run. I've been running a 3674 2650kv motor with a 120 amp ESC on 4s in my Arrma Granite for over a year now. I think I have to get a new motor and receiver now.

@@k81rclab42 How many teeth?? My typhon has the hot racing 91t... and i ordered A same size motor but 2850Kv with A hobbywing 120A 2/4s esc... And I'm ganna run A 3s lipo... But I don't know what Pinion gear would give me great speed.. my motor mount only takes 15/16/17/27

@@fbiagent3399 thank you my friend, in this video everything is stock spur gear and pinion gear, i just change the motor and wheels , because the stock motor becomes very hot for this big truck wheels it’s may burn with in 5-7 minutes, that big motor is less speed but high torque with 3s 5500mah lipos, after 10-15 minutes bashing or wheelie that motor just worm, and that is what i did what that buggy , this project is not for speed run, if i use hi speed motor and gears on that 3s typhon, i believe it will breaks every time, thats is why i spends very cheap motor, you buy excellent motor combo, my friend first try with stock pinion try some run then go for higher 1 or 2 pin notice the motors/ esc / battery (i don't know what tire are you using because , same setup with big tires make a huge difference ) temperature then make your own diction. my advice don’t hurt or kill your rc car i love speed run plz post a video on my page ''facebook.com/KhaledsRCLab'' all of your experience and experiment please join my page ''RC LAB''also please subscribe my channel and support me
