Thats definitely related to the voltage lineup. Theres videos of people converting them to 3s brushless but they cannot handle the power and end up destroying the vehicle. This is the perfect car for a young child especially considering that parts can be replaced. Basically entry level hobby grade and perfect for its intention.

i kind of wanted to dislike this but it's pretty cool for the price. 2wd is good for beginners, teaches handling skills early on. jumps pretty well too, would be a fun "spec" class for fucking around with haha

I have a vorteeks boost thats 2wd. I robbed the electronics out of my vendetta and it runs well over 60 and handles good with the avc turned up. Should look into that

they double charged me as well, and didn't send the "bonus" item that was supposed to come with the pre-order. On the bright side the double charge has already been refunded, and I don't really care for a mismatched battery door anyway lol. for $140 its definitely a solid little truck. Soon as the magic smoke is released from the brushed motor, brushless is going in.

i think it's fast enough for a 2WD...i would not make it brushless i'm sure the diff is all plastic typical arrma stuff and you'll burn through it in no time flat.

Yeah it's knid of bad still they should gear it for more torque since it's a monster truck and can't do flips which is the hyper minimum they should do... I have a cheap chinese one and ven that can do back flips if you run up to a steep ramp or wall.... and it's running on on board lithium ion batteries... (not replaceable)..

How are the diff cups? Are they plastic? I own the voltage and it's a piece of 💩 the direct drive spur gear and the metal dog bones/plastic out drives are a 💩 design and snap constantly!!! That's with a 12t traxxas motor. I couldn't imagine it being brushless. U will need to change the whole electrics when making it brushless minus the servo because the receiver is the esc so I never even tried it. It just sits on my shelf broke because why fix it. It will just break again lol. I'm hoping with this new truck there is a better design I can swap too and get it going again

Most wont like this because 2wd requires way too much skill for the 4x4 full trigger only crew which is 90% of the RC community that have to run everything on 8s until its broken. BTW that burning smell is that 2s lipo burning that brushed motor out.

peppy lil basstid for the money you cant go wrong buy it abuse it learn to work rcs and all for under 200 bux and those of us been in the hobby awhile has a drawer full of brushed motors and escs lol i got enough to wear two of them out prolly sure dont get the negative vibes ppl be throwin its way
