I think all 3 are nice in their own ways. You can't go wrong with any of them. Just depends on your driving style and what terrain you want to run them on. Nice quick comparison!

I wonder if the 1/5 arrmas have the same diff issues as the 6s arrmas. If so, I'll just save a little more money and get the xmaxx.

My buddy has a 6s kraton and I have the 8s. The diffs in the 8s arrmas are beefy as hell compared to the 6s. I've only heard of issues with the center diff on the 8s.

@@RAD-RC i caved and bought an 8s kraton. It was on fb marketplace for $300 with no esc, all 4 tires pealing off the rims, damaged front bumper, the typical scuffed and scraped up used body, ridiculously oversized castle creations motor and a blown out rear diff. Ring gear and pinion are in perfect condition but all the gears inside are either chipped teeth, teeth ground down flat or just cracked in half. The guy said he'd been through a few rear diffs after putting the big ass castle motor on it. The damn thing is so big it dwarfs the spektrum 8s motor! Plus it had a 39t pinion on it! He was so tired of rebuilding diffs that he let the motor go with the truck. I immediately took it and the pinion out and sold them for $150 the same day! So I'm essentially into this kraton 8s for $150, so far! Hopefully when i put the stock gearing and regular size motor and esc in it i won't have those problems! I don't need crazy amounts of power. I just want something big as hell to drive in the open fields at the park with my son and his 4s outcast.

I'll take the X Maxx over the others any day. It's lighter, composite chassis doesn't bend and the driveline is completely enclosed.

So I’ve got the XMaxx and love it but I want to add one more 1/5 scale. My bashin buddy just got the black XRT so I was thinking bout getting the Kraton exb but now I’m torn between that and the Outcast. Initially I didn’t like the wheelbase on the outcast but I do like doing stunts so now idk lol… which would you recommend with the Xmaxx, Kraton exb or Outcast exb?

Doesn’t make much sense honestly, the XRT is the same size as the Kraton… I think they “scale” them a little different with each company. Hell my 1/10 Losi db pro is the exact same size as my 1/8 arrma typhon too 🤷🏻‍♂️
