I've read the comics, and I hope the writers DON'T maintain the integrity of the comics (in this case). Like the guy said, they actually made Diggle Oliver's team mate in the Comics now because this show is so good. I definitely see Olicity making it's way into the comics too. Make it a slow-burn, sure, but in the last episode of the last season those two need to be bangin' ;)

Don't want to sound rude, but WHAT show did this guy watch when he said "I can't think of a better heat than between she and Dig?". Seriously?? I don't see any heat or chemistry at all between Dig and Felicity, and even back then when Oliver was with every other girl the chemistry between Oliver and Felicity is amaaaazing! Dig and Felicity seems more like homies or something like that. Crazy guy for saying that :)

Laurel is kind of a prom queen, obviously the girls majority who watch the show will prefer her opposite. Felicity is the kind of girl you want as a friend and she has the funniest lines. I love the chemistry between Felicity and Oliver but as much as I want I dont believe they will be together in some point.

I would love if Olicity happened, but I really don't want it to happen any time soon, because it would seem really superficial and forced. I think Felicity needs to grow more as a character, as does Oliver, before it happens. And to all the angry comic book fans out there saying shit like "This isn't 90210", I just want to remind that it is also not canon. I read comics myself, and I have read a few of the Green Arrows. But like with Smallville, I just consider it as a separate entity, because if you don't, things will get ugly. I am just enjoying the different turns the show makes (including Felicity), and even though the show has an obligation to acknowledge it's comic book roots, it dares to stray away from that, which I find exciting to be frank. And maybe Black Canary and Green Arrow will be amazing, but for now I cant see myself seeing past Oliver/Felicity. I just think that the writers have stumbled upon something new and exciting, and I think it would be a travesty Just lighten up dudes, seriously :)

I hope the writers maintain their integrity and don't give in to the superficial fans who have nothing to contribute to discussions but shouts of "Olicity!" People loved Clark and Lana on Smallville but they honoured the comics and Clark and Lois were endgame. I love Felicity as a character but Oliver belongs with the Black Canary, in this case, Laurel Lance. Comic book fans know that is sacred, this isn't Gossip Girl.
