Oh wow, this is just amazing

What made Oliver’s story so interesting for me was that ultimately it wasn’t an origin story or even a legacy story-it was a redemption story.

Oliver Queen was a hero who suffered, every time he would try to do good something would always knock him back to the ground. He didn't have powers like Barry and Kara, but had to face dangers just like them. He wasn't loved by his city like Barry and Kara either, the people of Star City (especially the police department) hated the Green Arrow. Yet despite all of this Oliver was still more than willing to go out every night and protect his city, he knew who he was and was always trying to better himself, he rose above everything to become the hero that the world needed

Wow he was the first and my personal favorite of the CW shows sure Barry has his lighthearted and heartfelt heroism and supergirl has her love and strength of others but Oliver man........he had that pure essence of what it meant to be human He struggles he he fell he denied help he fell again he rose up with his friends and loved ones and he doubted himself and struggled more and more and more against the world and all its pain and hatred and evil and against most of his own demons he pushed others away and denied help again and fell again only to realize that he needed them that all that pain and hatred all those moments where he had bargained away his humanity in order to protect his city or those he cared for They made him who he was They made him a hero he may have begun as a murderer And a vigilante But he was transformed into something...someone else he was made and shaped into a hero through all of his struggles and pain and loss and anger and hatred and even self doubt Until finally at the end... He showed the Multi-verse what he truly was and what it meant to be a hero

Arrow was the best hero there ever will he, Oliver Queen had his issues, but he still had a good part of him, that part of him wanted to save everyone but himself. That makes him a true and only hero, he suffered loss, hatred, anger, sadness, every thing you can ever feel, but that didnt stop him, that pushed him to be the best hero he ever could be. Best tribute every on youtube. Good job dude :)

Ollie really went through hell in those five years; being stuck on Lian Yu is one thing, but then there are the assassins, the mob... I think people expected too much of him when he got back -- they expected and wanted him to be the same person that got on the Queen's Gambit but he wasn't and he got a lot of flak for it. Arrow had some dodgy writing on occasion but it's one of my favourite shows and this edit really did it, and Oliver, justice.

So like obviously this was an amazing video but can we talk about how Barry was literally the only person who never lost faith in Oliver or tried to condemn him for everything that goes wrong, even for a second. And honestly vice versa. I just love how mutually supportive their relationship was and I wish there had been more of it in the shows. Like yeah they fought but they never thought less of the other person. Truly my favorite dynamic.
