Watching this when it aired, I agreed that Oliver telling Felicity he loved her seemed really out of nowhere. But on rewatches, I noticed the (extremely) subtle hints sprinkled throughout this season showing he cared for her as more than a friend and teammate. Looking forward to your upcoming reactions!

This episode is easily one of the best Arrow episodes period. Very high paced, very dramatic, lots of plot twists and everything was well executed.

Malcom’s storyline definitely felt forced when he “came back to life” in season 2, but in season 3 and later seasons you will see why he’s here. His relationship with Thea will definitely be necessary in seasons to come.

I swear I absolutely LOVE Oliver and Felicity. I’m excited to see your reaction to their story and relationship throughout the show. I know you said your not big on ships in shows but I think I can tell you really like them so Team Olicity all day🤩🤪

I loved the end of this season. Definitely one of the best finales of Arrow. Oliver’s past develops through each season and it doesn’t get to be too stretched out or too much. It connects well to the present each season.

Totally agree! I was never bored watching the scenes from the past and I liked that it connected with the present day storylines.

Once all this was over, it was weird to look back on. Before the Mirakuru, Oliver and Slade were like brothers. Each one would have given their life for one another.

Your so freaking right about the past storyline! It’s crazy how interesting it is, even though we know the overall outcome it’s still so exciting. Could be it’s own show.
